When using the 12v cable (attached to the car battery Directly) it's best to start the engine. You do NOT want a low-voltage condition to happen while the compressor is under load! Low voltage is known to burn out electric motors MUCH worse than too much voltage. I noticed a distinct rise in the speed of the pump after starting the engine. It was still pumping up the line when I started the engine.

The air Venturi nomad does everything thats mention, Awesome air compressors, I am completely satisfied with it.

You cant change what doesnt need changing, Perfect the way it is.

This is the air compressor you need to have for your air gun.

I`m a nu-bee to air gunning & found thru videos & articles that the air venturi nomad 2 compressor was just what I needed to get started pushing pellets out the bbl. of my umarex gauntlet. I`m 72 & did not wont to tackle a hand pump & also didn't want to invest $1300.00 to $3500.00 for a compressor just to get started. I`m very pleased w/the workmanship ; operation ; simplicity ; spare parts & informative manual . Its really a GREAT package & I love the option of running it off your truck battery . Can`t go wrong!!! Also , two thumbs up for the tec. department @ Pyramyd Air for helping me sort thru what I needed in additional equipment to get up & running and nothing I didn't need.

I cant say enough GOOD things about Pyramyd Air. You don't find to many companies these days that make you feel special & not just another pain in the butt phone call. They take there time helping you & answering all your questions and explaining things a beginning air gunner might not understand. You`ll get my business.

Best thing since sliced bread. Beats a hand pump all day. I saw the price of the air bottles; having to take them somewhere to have them filled; this purchase was the answer. It makes you independent. Very easy to operate and fills the Hatsan Flash QE PCP Air Rifle in 6 to 9 minutes. If I do decide to get a air bottle I can fill it with this compressor.

The charging hose needs to be 36" long at least.

If you don't have the money to purchase this great air compressor, and you have good credit I suggest you try using AFFIRM when you checkout. They will finance your purchase as long as year, with monthly payments. Read about them and consider the options. They helped me and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Compact Surprisingly quiet Oiled (oil-free= higher wear) Fills fairly quickly

Cost, while it is mostly likely the best on the market ita 200 bucks more than the competition. If they could come down to sub 600 or even to the 550 range it would excellent value for the money.

It does come with one female 1/8th pipe thread to male foster fitting. It's shown in pictures but not otherwise mentioned.

This is a huge step up from air pump and scuba tank. Simple to operate, fast fill, portable, air fill gauge accurate, fast fill time. I use it in my shop and plug into Tacoma outlet away from home.

Easy to charge my rifle from AC or my car battery. Supplied bag makes carrying a snap.

Mine had hairline cracks around the screws that hold the bottom lighting plate in place, also there was a tiny part floating around in the bag that seems to be a spare, drove me crazy trying to find where it went. Everything else good offsets these minor problems.

It took about 5mins. To fill my gauntlet from 1100 psi to 3000 psi. Awesome

It was worth the wait! This little compressor does everything it says it will do. It came packed in a reinforced crate. Everything was present and in perfect shape. The instruction book is well illustrated and easy to understand even by me who never used a compressor. It is light, compact and fits nicely into it's carrying case. Noise level is acceptable and fill times shorted than I thought. I've filled my guns 14 times so far without a miss. For me who has been relying on a air tank, it's a wish come true. Have not tried it yet on battery power but see no reason it should not work just fine. Highly recommended

It would be nice if the oil fill bottle had a needle fill attachment but you can pick a needle bottle at most hardware stores..

First off follow the instructions carefully until use to the machine. There is no silicone oil packed with the unit so have some on hand. The shut off pressure indicator works off a small pin attached to the right side of the fill pressure dial. Where that little pin is on the pressure read out is where the machine will shut off. Take a moment to look at this

Small relatively light weight

Longer fill hose. Quieter fans. There is so much noise I could not hear the air leak that was preventing me from filling the air tank. Add oil reservoir. The instructions state 2-3 drops of oil every 5 fill!s! Good luck counting drops..

Not really anything it does what it says

Make sure that you buy scilicone oil because it does not come with any. And make sure to watch when you are filling a gun because the automatic shutoff can fail, I turned my back for about 30 seconds and caught it just as it went past the auto shutoff mark. 20-25 fills only happened once could be a fluke.

It sure is better than using a tire pump.

I would add a longer connection from pump to gun portal.

Fairly quiet, no sharp impact noises, and slight vibration when operating. Instructions with pictures are detailed and easy to follow.

Gauntlet fill times: 0-3000psi = 6 minutes, 1100-3000psi = 4 minutes. Auto Shut Off works, QDs don't leak, and both valves close with finger pressure. Suggest viewing pdf Manual if hardcopy details are difficult to see.
