Increased velocity. Accuracy. Easy change barrel.

Went on my talon ss. Note this heavy barrel is thicker than 12 barrel that is on talon ss. As a result the screws which secure the barrel will protrude on the outside of the gun. They're not flush on the outside anymore. So I'm just going to grab some shorter screws when I get around to it. Works like it is. The change in speed with 22 caliber is as follows from my chronograph. 12 inch barrel Crosman domed 14.3grain 775 fps, AA 16 grain 764 fps. 24 inch barrel Crosman 14.3 grain domed 918 fps, AA 16 grain 881 fps. Both barrels were chronographed with power wheel on 6. It's winter in Michigan so haven't seen effects of accuracy beyond 25 yards, but will explore when summer gets here.

Fit great with aftermarket TT brass hammer and breach port. It shoots accurate with most .218 slugs. I measured the twist rate at 1/16 wich is suitable for moderately heavy slugs.

I would really like to see a barrel made for slugs available for this rifle, something with less lands and grooves like 5 or 6 groove instead of 12 and a 1/14 twist rate for longer slugs.

Well ; I like to have two different barrels into one particular rifle with two different calibers.

With this 2 calibers .25 .22 cal. I can be able of been shooting in my back yard ; I make a sound suppressor and it seems to my I make it good you almost no hear the pops sound ..

This makes the gun very load but the longer range accuracy is worth it.

Extremely accurate , easy to swap barrels , extreme quality (lothar walther) need i say more?

Like others have said it would nice to include a barrel storage container. I kept my cardboard container my 25 cal barrel came in so i store my extra barrel in that , for the price they charge one should be included. PRICE!!!

This barrel came with my condor and i used it until my 25 cal came in , the 25 cal has spoiled me with its raw power and accuracy , so i haven't used the 22 cal in a while. You can't lose with either barrel they are both an excellent choice. Neither one of these are quiet so don't expect them to be , i like the 24 inch barrels for that extra reach.

I would give it another 2 inches in length.

If your doing a barrel upgrade to a talon SS. Be sure to get the striker weight.
This is a great upgrade or replacement to any Airforce Rifle.
I've made quite a few 100 yard target shots with the barrel.
As we say here in Massachusetts ' it's a wicked pissah ' barrel!

VERY easy to change. VERY power effiecent. I'm getting 1275 fps at 1/2 power setting using Crosman Premier 14.3 gr pellets. I WILL be trying some heavier pellets to get the velocity down. Airforce Airguns' quality and performance is awesome!

INclude a durable storage container for spare barrel.

Like my other 24" barrel, this baby is loud. It will not be used in the backyard for target practice. Even though I'm outside the city limits I have close neighbors and I'm not going to annoy them using this barrel in my Condor. I'll be taking this configuration to the range.

I have a Condor .177 and wanted to try the .22 cal. barrel. Piece a cake changing the barrel!

The Condor is some PCP, I really like this gun!
