ATN X-Sight II HD3-14x50 Day Reviews

Just like the first version of this scope I have purchased it was riddled with issues and when I performed the suggested firmware update after getting to 100% it was supposed to restart and power back up it is now in a bricked state. When I call support it goes to a voicemail and no one called you back. I have a very expensive paper weight.

So far the optic has been great-surprisingly so. It has a learning curve and I am in the process of learning the "Do's and don'ts. It has more features than I will ever use, I don't video or take pictures of my shots. I wish it did not have this feature. Question: Having the optic on one rifle, why is there a need to update the software from time to time after the initial set-up? I am enjoying my scope, Thank You.

Wow. Just wow. I have a night vision scope. It is amazing. Get yourself a strap for your rifle ro help keep yourself steady because you notice the weight. Buy the external battery and enjoy. There really is no other word than enjoy. Thanks heaps guys.

Love the fact that you can record your shots in real time as well as manual recording. Noce 5-20 optical zoom.

Quicker turn on and power up. It takes about 10 seconds to fully power up and give you the cross hairs. Wish the video quality at 120 was a tad better but still looks good.

Fully charge before use. Make sure and set up scope height first if not you will mess up your zero.

Great buy for the money. Took some trial and error with the illuminator to get night vision clear on first trip but have dealt with it now and very clear. Love the photo and video features. Mounted on AR 15 554 frame. So far its been great. I have thinned out ferrel hogs in our area with it. Extremely accurate, and well priced for the technology that is on board! 5 stars for sure!

Outstanding optic. The features are great. This scope has all the bells and whistles. The scope is nice a sturdy. It comes with an awesome carry case. The illumination in total darkness is impressive. Even in dusk light the standard day optics draw in enough light to make a confident shot. I would highly recommend this scope

Received this as a gift and when I opened the box I was impressed. Took me 2 shots to zero it and now its amazingly accurate @ 100 yards. The IR included is actually really good. Very good night resolution in green or grey. Great value.

You should buy it

Have not shoot with it yet. Trying to get use to going between each function of the scope. Will let you know later when I have used it.

Excellent scope for the money. One shot zero is a wonderful addition. So many options that I haven’t had time to go through all of them. Eats batteries. Purchase the extended battery pack.

Still studying and setting up my target area for varmint shooting at night. More later. So far so good.

I had some trouble at first because as the info says the scope eats batteries quickly. also putting in distance in feet was a pain. BUT, with a battery pack and the updated soft ware that ATN sent out. the scope is much easier to use. If you are using the scope on bright Sunny days it helps greatly to use the sun shade. The shade has a smaller opening that reduces the amount of light greatly enhancing the clarity of the target. I found the scope easy to zero and right on target when changing distances ( assuming the info you inputted was correct) Played with it at night and it works very well, can't wait to try it at night during a hunt.

Just received the X-Sight II and love it. Fast delivery with prime shipping. The scope works like it should. Clear pictures on screen, day and night. At night, you are limited by your IR light output. The included IR light projects out to about 75 yds. You can see past that, but darker. A much stronger IR light source I have, projects to 200+ yds and I can clearly see whats there. The video and camera features work well and what I found to be the best thing was that it has wi-fi and with the ATN obsidian app downloaded to your phone, You can see what the shooter is seeing on your phone. I added an battery pack for longer usage, but the lithium AA batteries last around 4-5 or so hours with GPS and wi-fi running. I haven't tried it without the GPS and wi-fi function off, but they say around 10-11 hours. Maybe??? Not sure. I can use one X-Sight for multiple guns. I have put it on my .308 and saved the zero already and next, I plan to put it on my 300 Blackout and see if they are really interchangeable and keep their zeros switching back and forth. This way, all I need is one X-Sight for lots of guns. I will let you know how it all goes later. The X-Sight is really affordable and can use it day and night. Thermals are out of my price range and NV gen 3 + are pretty pricey too. Also you can only use the NV at night. From what I seen thru my X-Sight, the picture quality at night, rivals my friends Gen 3 NV scope. Hope this helps.

Ive been a hunter all my life, and this scope has really impressed me. This is the most versatile night vision scope I have used. I can hunt night or day, record my shots, and setup profiles for multiple rifles of different caliber. This scope is a no brainer. I would recommend this scope to anyone.

Very good quality. Easy to mount to an AR. The extended battery pack is a must if you you plan on buying this scope plan on buying the battery pack too.
