I was using mine for the 5th time of shooting my new crossbow and the string broke and the rcd hook hit me in the chest leaving a very nice welt that hurts like Heck
It broke the string hook holder and now I have nothing to hurt with. Please be careful you may need eye protection and a bullet proof vest

When I cock device as hook pulling cable gets along frame it pulls right side cocking device string out of guide. It requires loosening and inserting string back in groove and retightening. Causes string to fray.

Well I purchased a white tail Pro STR crossbow from Barnett from Cabela's. I was happy when I saw the crank came with the crossbow. I wanted the crank to help me load the crossbow string because I just had hernia surgery. Well they state that the crank system has 93 % less resistance. Well I am here to tell you it does not. I am very good shape, The crank is very difficult to crank. I am guessing you are cranking about 50 % or more. Not very easy. I have a ten point crossbow and the crank is a lot easier. I really thought that Barnett could of have done better on this crank. It was already installed on my crossbow. Innless their is something wrong with it. But it seems to function like it should. Other than that great crossbow.

Well worth it. The force and strength required to cock the crossbow is too much if you plan to do it in a tree stand.

The cranking device made cocking my bow so much easier at 75 with bad shoulders now I can do it with ease and no pain. Installation was a snap following all the directions. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone that is an avid crossbow shooter target or hunting. It is another example of Barnett's dedication to performance and quality. They are without any doubt the leaders in the Crossbow industry with their innovative and great products.

Super easy to install. Finally got to shoot my bow and out of 10-12 times, the crank got bound up twice and hard to take it apart to straighten the line up to be able to crank it again.

The crank cocking device works well. I had to buy it so that my daughter, who is about 90 lb can use it for her hunting test. I have the Barnett white tail cross bow which is around 375fps.
