I don't know much about chargers but I do know that balance charging a lipo is critical to safety & longevity. I've had no problems with this charger

Turns out I went and paid a bunch of money for the smart charger, which still turns out to be a good idea, but this charger is actually stupid proof and they didn’t tell me that I ended up finding that out from an RC car shop owner when I went to go talk to him for 10 minutes about how to charge lithium polymer batteries and he explained to me that he just plug it in and now the red light means that it’s not charged just leave it plugged in till it turned green and I was just worried about bologna batteries, and all of that. Seems like the paperwork at the BB gun came with scared people more than educated them.

The barra battery charger works great plug the battery in the light turns red when you first start watch the charger when you're battery is done charging the lights will turn green both of my batteries where cool after charging

1st battery charging worked great and finished charging battery within the time specified. Read the manual as the battery should only be charged before use.

This charger really only charges. It does not show you how much charge is in the batter nor does it let you discharge the battery (for storage). At least it was cheap so you can't complain too much.

This inexpensive battery charged my factory new battery in about 90 minutes. The 3 lights turn green when all three cells are charged. I recommend this charger to others.

The charger has met my expectations. It has not failed me and is fast charging. No problems. Very happy with my Barra 400e
