Things I liked:

Straight up copy of the sure Air Venture Nomad II unit and there's nothing wrong with that. It's quite enough to run in the front room and not freak out the family. My Benjamin hand pump failed after 2 years and I don't miss it now. The Gen 2 is very easy to carry and although it doesn't come with a bag like the Nomad II you don't need it. The instructions are pretty clear and plastic coated for durability in the field.

Things I would have changed:

Color instructions.

What others should know:

Filled my sons Discovery from 900psi to 2000psi in 1:43. My Synrod threw its gauge at 2500psi so I'll get to test that from an empty fill.

Things I liked:

Not even 5 uses before it stopped working completely. When I called to use the warranty I was pretty much tossed from one business to the next seeing who will take responsibility for the situation. I can't tell if it's pyramydair air Venturi or Crosman that I am dealing with are the experience has been far from Pleasant and I still don't have a compressor I repeat I still have not been compensated I received the replacement I was supposed to get

Things I would have changed:

I make the item last a lifetime

What others should know:

I've been shopping with pyramydair for a long time and overall think they are great company but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth

    Things I liked:

This compressor is compact and light weight. It fills my air rifles just fine, but does it better if I don't need to fill above 3000 psi.

    Things I would have changed:

Add a temperature gauge. It has an amp gauge, which is fine, but heat is the major killer of these compressors, so knowing what temperature it's operating at is key!

    What others should know:

I have had this compressor shut down on me while filling air guns with 480cc 250 BAR tanks. It's slow and steady, but I think it should not be overloaded when filling larger capacity, higher pressure air guns. It's a great little portable compressor and makes a great back-up, but a bit pricier than the competition.

    Things I liked:

Shipped fast. Fills my pcp air rifles quickly! Challenger, air arms , Hatsan. No problems. As advertised to 4500psi.

    Things I would have changed:

The little hole for the oil to travel down for lubrication. The box it's shipped in has handle holes that exspose the item when shipped. It was never covered over with extra packaging leaving the pump in sight of the carrier and exsposed! P.A. could've done better with shipping with that part.

    What others should know:

You have to take the case with the handle part off for proper oiling procedure. Really other than that, you should purchase one if possible. Seems overall it's built solid. I've only had mine 4 months so far no problems. The nomad is no match for the Benjamin in quality or any other except the Hill, but it's almost double the price! The Benjamin works as it should! Buy one today! No more prblms.

    Things I liked:

As others have already observed...excellent small footprint travel compressor to take to the field or range for a day of multiple refills and ease of filling all my PCP air guns. Great packaging (I still use it to tote the compressor and gear in the gear tray), simplicity of use (PLEASE read the manual..yes, I'm talking to the dudes...dudettes already know to read the manual) and great results. Considering size and investment cost, it's really fairly fast.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like (I may add it down the road) another 12v 5.5" computer cooling fan added to the exhaust grid but so far the unit hasn't heated up much. Then again I don't fill multiple guns back-2-back. Would like it to handle small SCBA bottles. Would like to dial in digital presets (psi-BAR) vs. the analog dual function manometer but the current one works just fine.

    What others should know:

This is not designed to fill SCBA or diving tanks. It is designed for individual onboard gun cylinders only. Please read the directions first...will save heartaches and add a lot of useable time to your unit. Most important? GET ONE! I had to stretch a lot to get one but man am I thrilled I did. It works flawlessly. I get to shoot a heck of a lot each time I go to the range, etc.

    Things I liked:

This pump is lightweight. The cooling fan is actually louder than the mechanical pump. It feels from the vehicle every bit as well as the 110 outlet from your house. After some human error from me I have had absolutely no problems with this pump.

    Things I would have changed:

After some human error from me I have had absolutely no problems with this pump.

    What others should know:

Double and triple check from several different angles the setting of the dial. In my opinion it is slightly difficult to read. I know what the manual says about bleeding off the water that collects in the bottom chamber, however I empty it after each use.

    Things I liked:

Works as it says it should I dont have to hand pump my air riffles any more. Fills my benjamin maximus in just a couple minutes (2000 psi) and fills my kral puncher breaker in about 4-5 minutes (2900 psi).

    Things I would have changed:

I wish the fill hose was a little longer.

    What others should know:

I have seen other people say that it was loud but I don't think that it is too loud personally.

    Things I liked:

Excellent packaging, plenty of accessories including spare filters, and even a pressure testing cap for the air hose. Clear instructions, simple and quiet (enough for indoor use) operation.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

As advertised. I now keep my tanks as backup, and use the compressor for all other fills.

    Things I liked:

I have only had this unit for a couple of weeks and so far it has worked great. I like the portability of this unit being able to use it on the range where there is no electricity.

    Things I would have changed:

I really haven't used it long enough to form an opinion about changing anything.

    What others should know:

so far it has worked great and i expect it to do so for a long time.

    Things I liked:

Only used about 10 times to top off my several air guns from just under 200 bars to 230-250 bars in about 3-5 minutes so far I am more than satisfied. Will wait and see how this thing last and perform in the future. It feels like it is a good solid built and doing what it suppose to do nicely.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish it has on/off switch to cut off power entirely instead of having to unplug the cord from the wall outlet all the times.

    What others should know:

Unit is a bit loud enough to disturb your family members if you use it in the house but not too loud to disturb your neighbors when you use out doors.Add 2-3 drops of silicone oil every 5 fills accordingly to the manual instructions.

Great compact compressor. About the same size as a Nomad 2. Did a comparison test with the Nomad 2 and it fills exactly the same time with the same rifle. So far very durable, just like the Benjamin ReCharge I have. Gets a couple of drops of silicone oil every 5-10 fills.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish it would come with a carrying case like the Nomad 2.

    What others should know:

Seems to be built more solid than the Nomad 2.

I like this version so much more than the previous version. All in one unit not have separate pieces too care. Filled my Air Force Texan 50 with no problem. Really handing hooking it up to my car to refill my gun. I haven't used it too many times but so far so good.

    Things I would have changed:

The one thing I would've really liked, is if it could fill my big tank. Though for the price and being able to refill my gun in the field, that's not really a concern.

    Things I liked:

    Portable. Seems very user-friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

    Longer charging hose.

    What others should know:

Anyone who thinks of buying this, better be prepared for a long wait as you charge your airgun. It's either mine is defective, or is made that way. Charges extremely S...L...O...W... I ordered a Hatsan Nova QE (extremely heavy, beware of it) along with this compressor. My Hatsan is not even empty, but it still takes 20 minutes to charge. I opened the chamber by cocking the gun using the lever as instructed by Hatsan (All the way back until is cocked and locked). Selected the AC on the switch and turned it on. It chugged away as I look at the meter. At times, it almost felt like it didn't even charge. But ever so slowly, after a freaking 20 minutes wait, I finally got to the 250 BAR or 3500 PSI as indicated. I wrote Pyramid Airgun about it and they didn't even respond. I wonder if mine is just defective. Or is it made to charge this slow? I am dumbfounded by how freaking slow it charges. Buy something more expensive, guys, if you have the extra money.

    Things I liked:

Great small compressor. Very similar to the Nomad but fills quicker. Very portable, and with the addition to adding a few drops of oil every 2 hours of use, reliable should be really good.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing yet, I would like a carrying case like the Nomad comes with.

    What others should know:

Built more solid than the Nomad. Feels very well constructed. Very good compressor to take on a trip or to the range.
