I like that this Beretta M9A3 magazine is all metallic, hefty, and durable. I especially like that the follower locks down leaving easy access to a BB loading port in the side of the magazine.
Things I would have changed:I would like to have a slightly larger follower tab to provide a better grip when pulling down the follower to lock it down.
What others should know:This M9A3 magazine is interchangeable with the Beretta M92A1 magazine. However, the M9A3 magazine can't be used in the Swiss Arms P92 pistols.

The First thing that I have to say about this Magazine is that has been VERY Well Engineered , and Well Constructed ! It Is Solidly Built with No Lower Pins to hold the Bottom Part of The Mag Together. Up Top , there are 2 pins that hold in the Gasket . and 1 for the BB feeder. The Spring Housing for the BB's works well , but I Personally always Give my Mags a Quick Spray with a little Silicone Spray to keep thing moving Smoothly. No real Problems so far with the Valve or the CO2 Plug , but Overall a Very Good Magazine For a Very Good Pistol !
Things I would have changed:Like With Most Upper End UMAREX .177 Magazine Products ,,, People have a tendency to break Their Fingernails off Trying to Load Steel BB's into Them . Well Folks , This Guy Is a Member of That Club ! It is a Pain in The A$$ to have to Carry a Pen or Nail Clipper around With You to Accomplish Loading this Magazine all the Time ,,, BUT ,, It Does Have a little Ledge You can rest the Follower on once it is All the Way Back , Yayyy !!! As Far as Stripping the CO2 Screw Goes ,,,, Just Be Careful , take Your Time , and put a drop of Silicone oil on the Threads . Most of All DO NOT MAKE IT TOO TIGHT !!!
What others should know:Like I Say with All My Reviews , If YOU Take Care Of YOUR ORDINANCE ,,, YOUR ORDINANCE WILL Take Care Of YOU !!! If That Means Don't let Cousin Bob shoot it out in the Backyard ,, So be It , Because You Don't Wanna Hear " Ohh I Just Dropped It and This Part BROKE OFF ! " DO YOU ? We All Are Air Gunners ! Some of us Have a COLLECTION , and We Take Pride in What We Do , and Love

The added weight to the magazine, adds to the overall weight and feel of the pistol itself.
Things I would have changed:Warn potential customers that the CO2 cartridge is contained within the magazine. Purchasing an extra magazine (as you would with an actual firearm) just adds to the cost of use of this pistol, because you need to have a CO2 cartridge in each magazine to have the effectiveness of a quick reload ... the reason you would even purchase a second magazine. As the second magazine is quite expensive ... If I had known that a second CO2 cartridge would have to be used, due to the location of the CO2 cartridge being located inside the magazine ... I would NOT have purchased a second magazine. Also they are quite slow to refill, and holding only 20 BB's for a pistol with the capability to auto fire ... isn't practical, meaning as fun as auto fire is, I use it rarely ... and haven't even used the second magazine due to the issues with it's use.
What others should know:Adhere to the warning I put on the review of the pistol.

1 clip with a CO2 inside and a full load of BB's, easy , fast , reloads
Things I would have changed:Button on side that dispenses CO2 out the top for each fire of weapon, needs to be better made, as it sticks outward during full auto fire and dumps entire gas load , because its not compatible with freezing temperatures of rapid gas release. Once you go full auto the unit is garbage until it warms up again, so automatic action is not advised, if you don't want to replace the gas cylinder everytime it's used.
What others should know:The Baretta M9A3 is completely trash as the gun has too much plastic in the main frame, and under extreme cold the plastic changes its shape to much, whereas if it were made of all metal the gun would be worth the money you paid for it, and the lock open lever on side is made of cheap metal as well, like pewter or something as i shot the gun on full auto and the handle got so cold it warped inside and made releasing the clips above so tight they would not release from inside, so they ended up stuck in handle and because the button stuck it dumped the entire CO2 cartridge before I could get it out. Pissed me off that i fumbled the gun and dropped it, and being so cold the lever broke off for the slide lock out. All in all whether you get the M9A3 or the M9A1, The money spent is Worth Nothing.
Real shame that Baretta can make a 9 mm pistol last years, but cannot make a BB gun last more than a week !!!

Good quality build. Durable for thousands of rounds with proper maintenance.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:Do not overload the mag for what it is rated for. You can squeeze a extra 1-2 rounds in but will result in a mag jam from the follower almost every time. Stick to what they are rated for, use a drop of oil on each CO2 for the mag seal and they will last for thousands of rounds. They are a little pricey, so take care of them like you would them pistol and they will last. I bought two mags with each pistol and both spare mags are still in the plastic and have never been needed. It's good to have them as backup though just in the event I finally reach the limit of the original, but after 2000 rounds we haven't reached that point yet. Still a good idea though to buy a spare when purchasing the pistol.
