Well made
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:I bought this for a Hatsan 135 Sniper. I thought a canted or (droop compensated) mount would be helpful for keeping the scope optically centered, like modern firearms. I mounted it correctly per instructions, and while zeroing, noticed the scope had bottomed out...the very problem I was trying to avoid. I switched to a different mount that I had purchased as a back up and it worked perfectly. It seems that the air rifle did not need a droop compensated, or canted mount. The scope is a Nikon EFR 3-9 x 40. This is a great product and very well made, but make sure it is needed before purchasing. I ended up using a $15 mount which worked perfectly.

Seems to be a solid mount..
Things I would have changed:More screws on top of mounts, Directions, No directions
What others should know:I still had to shim my scope to get the Tech Force 99 to fire close to the center of the target,,

It stays put. Works exceptionally well. BUT....
Things I would have changed:Rings are not high enough to provide clearance for scope turret area of scope.Bottom of scope hits the middle of base!!! Hawke scopes do not work!!! Many scopes will not fit!!!!!! BKL should forewarn potential buyers of possible clearance issues or raise ring height by 2 mm.

capable of fitting different width dovetails, made in usa, one piece design, large number of scres to anchor base to rifle. The 0.007 drop can be used both for short range shooting or turned with the drop as an elevation gain to accomodate longer range shooting. Well made.
Things I would have changed:I didn't know about the 0.007 drop. I need to check the instructions to see whick direction it goes and if the scope is installed correctly.
What others should know:On my Gamo the mount is tighted and still moves forward when I am shooting.

Produced in the Compensates for drop compensation.
Things I would have changed:Ability to see through would be nice. One extra screw on each side of the top rings.

I like having the rings fixed to the base as it reduces movement error......and the slant angle was just right for the Octane Elite, ... using barracuda 21.14 gr. pellets. It put the scope elevation into the mid range adjustment at 25 yards,on cross hair. I also liked the spreader holes .....as all such items should have a means of removal. Some do not have this.
Things I would have changed:It would be nice if there was some windage adjustment......as I had to file the inside groove on both sides to achieve barrel alignment .
What others should know:When shooting at distance....barrel alignment is critical with the scope,.....and so if the 11mm groove on the rifle is not perfect....one needs to compensate for this with windage adjustment. By distance ..I am speaking of 100 yards. IE...If you hit a dot at 25 yards.....you should in theory hit the same dot at 100 yards with the barrel aligned and under perfect conditions and shooter stance.

Very solid mount.
Things I would have changed:Scope rings need to be slightly taller in relation to the base.
What others should know:This base will not work if your scope adjusting turret goes around the scope ring on the bottom. In other words unless your scope is completely smooth, on the bottom of the turret area, the turret will hit on top of the base which will not allow you to lock down the scope in the rings. Rings are too close to the base. I tried to mount a Nikon Prostaff EFR 3x9x40 scope on this mount. If you look at a picture of this scope you'll see that the adjustment turret is very slim and flat on the bottom. It still would not work.
If that is not a problem for you this base and rings seem to be very well made and sturdy.

Solid, one-piece mount.
Things I would have changed:My gun needed more droop compensation than this mount offered.
What others should know:I purchased this mount for two reasons: (1) I needed droop compensation. Even with two soda-can shims on the rear scope ring of my old setup, I could not get my scope to zero. (2) I wanted a one-piece mount vs. separate scope rings: I found it difficult to get my scope aligned with the bore using my old scope rings.
This BKL mount solved the alignment problem. It clamps the dovetail for a full four inches. By tightening each of the six(!) clamping screws, it is solidly anchored in perfect line with the dovetail
I still had to add two soda-can shims under the scope at the rear ring on the BKL mount to get my scope zeroed in. Apparently, my gun has some serious barrel droop.
At more than 5oz in weight, this thing is heavy for a scope mount; much heavier than a pair of rings. In my case, my gun was already over eleven pounds, so a few more ounces was not a big issue; just something to be aware of.
This mount is solid! Once clamped in place, it feels like part of the gun.

Completely solved my scope alignment problem. Excellent quality, good quality hardware.
Things I would have changed:Anti slip material inside the ring will be nice. I used 3M double sided tape in this case. Also please consider making these for the picatiny / weaver rails.
What others should know:If you want to shoot straight, shoot accurately, why not do it right at the first time by getting the BKL.

I mounted a scope, Hawke 3-7, on a Diana 48 with this mount. Seems to do everything that is claimed by it's makers.
Things I would have changed:Put the marks marking the front of the mount on the side of the mount for easy verification of proper mounting.
What others should know:Works great! I like it

Its droop compensation. with my scope truly optically centered, i mounted it and at 25yds it was 8inches high.my point is that the droop gave me a lot of adjustment.
Things I would have changed:Put some sticky tape in there.

It's a BKL, solid as a rock.
Things I would have changed:Nothing.
What others should know:This will definitely solve your barrel droop problems, unfortunately I had windage problems too, so I got the fully adjustable mount instead. This one beats the heck out of shimming your scope, because think about it, if you shim it, the barrel of your scope is no longer in line with the rings that hold the scope. You are now pinching it at only 2 points, which may crimp your scope tube.

Built well. Holds just fine on several magnum springers I own. Will be using this mount on several rifles. I like the self centering concept.
Things I would have changed:Nothing.
What others should know:DO NOT over torque or over-tighten the screws. People have a tendency to over-tighten fasteners of all kinds.

Does the job as stated. None of mine have moved and hold very, very well. I actually prefer this over the RWS mount, even without the stop pin.
Things I would have changed:Nothing.
What others should know:It is alloy, so don't over torque the screws when mounting.

Lots of dovetail clamping surface with 6 mounting cap screws. This keeps the mount from shifting without the use of an extra scope stop. BKL's self centering design that eliminates the side canting tendency most other mounts have. Integral rings that are aligned with the mount base coupled with the self centering feature limits scope tube marring.
Things I would have changed:I still feel a better indicator of which mounting directing is needed for a truly "fool proof" install is desirable.
What others should know:Adjustable droop mounts may be a buzz term for those with barrels that droop -but- when a BKL260D7 mount is available that not only compensates for droop, but also clamps to the compression tube securely with no fuss all I can ask is "Why bother?" .

Things I would have changed:nothing.

I had trouble with some other 1-piece mounts with a Gamo Bone Collector (I could not get them to stop moving and wearing out the stop hole in the compression tube). This solved the problem handily and is a great mount. It's also made in the USA, which to me is worth extra. The droop compensation combined with a lower height than the high rings I was using, was great to get my 40MM objective scope back into the middle of its range.
Things I would have changed:The rings are anodized and I could not tighten them enough to keep the scope from moving in the rings, although it is rock solid on the gun. I ended up buying some liquid vinyl and painting the inside of the rings and that did the trick. I also cannot fit the front objective cap onto the scope because it's too close to the compression tube now, but that's more of a problem with the large objective.
What others should know:I didn't realize that for a few dollars more, there was an adjustable version of this mount. It doesn't detract from the quality of this mount, but if you want to optically-center your scope and adjust the mount, this is not the one you want, get the adjustable mount. It's less than $10 more.

Solid mount, definitely brings any horizontal sighting problems back to center.
Things I would have changed:Product review citing the problem I am documenting below.
What others should know:Purchased for my Stoeger X20-S to accomodate my Leapers 4-16x40 AO,MD,IR Scope. Item was purchased to accomodate muzzel droop but was very inadequate. Sighting range was approx. 7 - 8 yds and when the scope was maxed out in verticle, the best I could do was approx. 3 - 4 inches below or above target sight after reversing mount. Tried shimming scope which worked temporarily but scope slipped in rings and required too much torque to hold in place without possibly damaging the scope housing. It's an excellent mount but unfortunately it's not suited for my air rifle at the range I am sighting in.

Compressed exactly like described. The expansion jack-screw holes are a great idea to uncompress the clamp if necessary. You're getting a lot of mount for just $70.
Things I would have changed:Nothing. For $70 bucks, how much more engineering or machining could you put into this?
What others should know:BUT, be aware that the MeoPro 2-10x42 will not work with this mount. Similarly robust scope builds may not work either. The turret housing projects too far below the 1" diameter tube/clamp bottom and the turret housing will bottom out atop the 1-piece construction connector before the 1" diameters meet. Maybe not a problem with a lot of other, more compact/streamlined scopes designed more for air rifles. I have to reorder the 2-pc clamp set instead. Sticking with BKL.
