The Dovetail rifle mounting part of these rings is made solid, having no loose parts on the bottom like other rings. They fit tightly to the rifle so that when you tighten the set screw, the metal flexes inward slightly to make the final contact. This means there is no measurable offset from the center of the ring mount which would happen if there was a separate and movable piece like most other rings made.
Things I would have changed:The only other option would be to choose a similar design with two screws on each side for a heavier duty mount on rifles. I chose these rings to mount scopes on Benjamin Marauder .025 cal. and Benjamin Woods Walker .022 cal to stay light weight and because they are high enough to allow clearance for the magazines.
What others should know:Being a former military marksman I am concerned about weapon harmonics and secure mounting of all parts of my weapons. So for situations where I want the most secure mounting I would choose to use up to 4 of these per scope rather than using two mounts with double screws or a single rail mount on 11mm Dovetail grooves.

Mounts maintain perfect vertical alignment without the slight canting to the left or right seen on other mounts.

I like that the rings holding the scope tighten separately from the base. Makes it easier to move the scope and mount to another gun. Also, the self centering of the mount to the gun's scope rail is nice.
What others should know:Be aware that some of the rings are offered and priced for only one ring.

These mounts fit onto a 11mm/3/8" dovetail very well and tighten easily for a precise fit.
Things I would have changed:Would like to see them come with anti slip tape in the rings like others, however in PCP and lighter airguns, this is not necessary.
What others should know:These mounts/rings are a bit different than most in that they are precision machined to align centered over the rail they mount on, they fit snugly when tightened and do not slip on the rail.

Perfect fit on the Benjamin Marauder using the Hawke Sport Optics Vantage 4-12x50. Installed on rifle and the first shot I was on the paper at 25 yards.

Excellent fit and finish. Ease of installation and powerful holding capability. If you have 11mm or 3/8" scope rails that are open at the end to slide these on, you have to give these a try. I will never buy another brand of mounts!!!

Nice and high & narrow. Another quality item from a proven manufacturer. Fit's into places others will not. One of two sets I own. Very good quality. centers scope where is belongs in the center of the barrel.

What others should know:I wouldn't recommend using these on a high powered rife but should work great for any rim fire or pellet rifle. When buying any mount that BKL makes be assured that your getting your money's worth & look no futher. I'm just a normal JOE BLOW and don't work for any of the companies that make these items!

What others should know:Just got these as i wanted to lighten up my Red Wolf Safari for hunting. With the 1 inch scope i have im under 20 ounces TOTAL weight. Ive had two outings and many shots fired, the mounts are working flawlessly and im picky. Springer use?? (Im also a springer guy) If youre talking a mag springer id stick with a mount and stop pin (no stop pin on these mounts) just to be sure of no movement.
