The case is a perfect fit for the Air Venturi Avenger and scope I have mounted. But it is also close to being too tight around the scope. I have several scopes that would not fit when mounted to this rifle. I am using low mounting rings, so changing rings is not an option.

For my purposes I would not change a thing.

Make it a little deeper (taller) and add a small exterior pocket.

I bought this to fit an Air Arms S500 with a scope with 50mm objective that is mounted on tall rings. It is not quite tall enough for this setup so I was unable to close the zipper.

Soft case with handle....fits my Cowboy Legend with room to spare

Add more foam protection and a shoulder strap....Add better protection at each end of case.... Would be worth an increase in costs...

Nice case for the price, especially when it's part of a bundle. Since it's only used for the occasional trip to the local range, it does the job.

As to having pockets... Having 'em never meant much to me. In fact they seem to catch on things, make it more difficult to insert a gun & case into a tight space, etc.I carry my extra pellets, tools, etc., in my range kit.

Missing a zipper pouch on the outside for small parts and pellet storage.

I kept this one and gave my Grandson a better one.

Have a used this case in 44 in. and does the job i"m asking it to do so There no reason to think this same case on 48 in. can't do the same. Yes there are better cases out there but if you just need a case to keep your gun clean and safe from bump or bang here and there then this is your case. I use these also to move my guns when going out to shoot with friends to and its done the job in back of truck, For the price you can;t beat them.

Don't know if I would use this case if I needed it everyday but to protect you gun every now and then and at a great price. This is a good case at a great price
