Easy to load. Simply put the pellets in the 12 round clip, slide into the magazine, and push the pin forward to lock the clip in place. Then simply push the magazine in the gun. It rotates smoothly as each pellet is shot. When empty, squeeze the flanges on each side and pull the magazine out. Works like a charm.

What others should know:The 1077 comes with one clip/magazine combination. I bought a three-pack of the 12 -round clips and three extra magazines. With four of the sets, a shooter will get 48 shots before having to reload the pellets. Once shooting 12 pellets in the clip/magazine combination, simply remove the empty magazine and insert a loaded one. The 48 shots is the upper limit of the capacity of the 12 gram CO2 cartridge used to propel the pellets. When I empty all four magazines, I reload 48 pellets and insert a fresh CO2 at the same time. Then it's time to shoot again!!!

It is hard to believe that when I ordered the Rifle with the rifle magazine unit and and extra rotary clips that shipping was $8.99. There was almost no weight but the box. What's even harder to believe is that when I ordered just one extra rifle magazine that you charged me $8.99 shipping also?!! The rifle magazine is all plastic and weighs around 2 ounces!!

Things I would have changed:Poor design with the 'pin' to hold the 'clip' in the rifle. But, it is what it is, and once you get used to it, you work with it. And buy more clip holders.

A definite must! Don't get bogged down with reloading, your little one won't wait. I got the extra cylinders too so I could reload more while my son shoots. He even likes exchanging the magazines and cylinders!

What others should know:If you own the 1077 you will quickly discover you are going to get about 30 shots per CO2 cartridge before power significantly drops off to zero. When they kicked the velocity up on this rifle, which I love, it became a bit of a gas hog. That said, if you deploy three of these 10 round box magazines, you will only have to reload them every time you swap out the CO2 cartridges. Makes for much more enjoyable usage if you purchase the three pack of 10 rnd. clips with it.

Works great as advertised.. If you own the Regular Crosman 1077 CO2 Rifle or the 1077W wood stock version, may as well order several of these magazine assemblies and some extra round 12 shot pellet holders to fit this magazine assembly. My neighbor friend down the road a piece from me and I both own (him the regular 1077 & me the 1077W) these pellet rifles.. Plus these extra mag-assembly(s) and round 12 shot pellet clips. Makes it much easier, with the Grand Kids plinking in the backyard, while using these quick action CO2 Rifles to keep on shooting with the magazine assemblies and 12 round clips ALL ready to go.

These work as they should but are pricey. If you want to shoot in Dueling Tree or Wonder Wheel competitions in your back yard you have to have them. The 12 round "Clips" are almost as good but the "Magazines" are ,hands down, faster.

What others should know:Extra mags really do add a new dimension to the 1077 especially on warm days when the CO2 can recover quickly from rapid fire.
