adds stability to barrel

make it a 2 piece assembly. as it is now, you better be mechanically inclined (which I am). I had to end up cutting the band in half to avoid totally dis-assembling the barrel assembly. (not an easy task)

It made my barrel on my Diana bandit very solid.

Ha ha nothing, absolutely nothing its perfect fit.

Make sure that it fits loosely and the barrel is centered as you slowly and carefully tighten it down it is a very wise investment.

Ease of use, and it makes the gun look better, in my opinion. I've read reviews where this device greatly improves accuracy as well!

As above, my Bandits do throw pills more accurately with these barrel bands on. I purchased them mainly for looks, but I cannot deny the effect they have on the accuracy of the guns.

If you have a Bandit you may want this it's just what it should have from the factory but for an under 200 dollar pcp it's worth the purchase price.

Nothing about the part just add it to all guns it fits at factory.

Made of aluminum not plastic, and very well made. Fit my Diana Bandit like it was made for it. Tightened up the barrel, air cylinder, receiver fit. The price is good considering the quality of the fit and finish. Looks like it should have been supplied as stock on the Bandit.

The top and bottom of the band are threaded, but it only came with a (too) long SHCS for the top, and nothing for the bottom. It should have been supplied with a proper fitting top and bottom set screw(s). The band should have been supplied as stock on the Bandit.

Before I got my Diana Bandit I didn't think it would be needed. I was wrong. After getting my Bandit, and shooting a variety of ammo and hold/bench rest positions, there was no doubt in my mind it was very much needed, and it improved the groups with all ammo used so far. The band should have been supplied as stock on the Bandit. Is there an echo in here?? lol

Holds the barrel together and provides a more solid platform. I had my Varmint fall off a rack and it bent the barrel upwards. This completely corrected it.

Maybe add the ability to mount a light to the bottom.

A little difficult to install with the muzzle brake permanently attached. I used it on a Varmint.

Make the bottom rail a picatinny rail like the one in the Chaser kit to allow mounting of accessories.

Diana products are great, even if they use China for the PCP/CO2 lines.

well they are well made out aluminum i bought these to make a bridge from the front breech area to the barrel band with a weaver mount on a Diana Chaser and these will work but they are not the same as the ones that come with the Chaser kit the top of the barrel hole to the top of the dovetail is more by about 1.6mm then the one in the kit so fitting will be needed for my project

well i think some small washers could be used on the 2 band area tightening screws 3mm ID x 5mm OD and no bigger it would help metal galling

The stormrider really needs this barrel band. Provide good support to the barrel, improve the accurate

It works

I used it to support the barrel just forward of the stock about an inch. I loosened the existing barrel band and removed the 3 metric screw on top of the the receiver and barrel junction in order to remove the barrel. Then wrap an old leather belt over the suppressor and use a channel lock or pliers to work the barrel back and forth to remove it. Slip the new barrel band on the air tank and insert the barrel and you may also wish to insert a new O-ring at the rear of the barrel from those supplied with the rifle. Then reinstall the 3 metric screws on top of the barrel receiver junction and tighten both barrel bands up. This will better support the barrel and probably improve accuracy as it did mine.

Perfect fit, easy to install. I didn't like the one band on my Diana Stormrider, so added this to keep the barrel & air tank more secure.

Removing the dove tail on the band, nothing can be mounted to it without it blocking scope or rear sight.

I got this to add onto my Diana to keep the barrel fixed to the air chamber. Something the gun needs to come with! It keeps the shots in a tighter groping. A recommendation remove the barrel from the upper. That way you dont mess with the stock sights or the muzzle brake.

Once on supports the end of the barrel for better accuracy. Also serves as a forward scope mounting point

I purchased a refurbished Stormrider which happened to have a band already mounted on it. I had ordered one with the gun not knowing that a previous owner had already put one on. Bad part was it was missing two of the set screws which I will buy at local hardware store.

This barrel band gives the floating barrel more support in handling the rifle.

Diana should make a dedicated barrel band, because this barrelband is more of a sparepart. By using it it still looks like a sparepart.

The folks at Pyramyd were of great help with their instructions on installation of this item on the Gen 2.

In addition to my earlier review, I would also lube the barrel for reinstallation on the Gen 2.
