Things I liked:

Well-made, reliable. Durable (I fumbled and dropped one 4 feet onto concrete and it still works fine)

Things I would have changed:

Nothing

What others should know:

A bit expensive, but then quality always costs more. I am still using FX magazines I bought over ten years ago. Remember, FX builds the pellet advancing mechanism into the magazine, not the rifle, so it is always going to be more expensive compared to other manufacturer’s magazines where the rifle advances the pellet.

Things I liked:

Higher capacity than most brands.

Things I would have changed:

More robust design.

What others should know:

These magazines are light, and do not feel the most durable. Not all will fit the breech and I had to dremel 1 mag a bit to make it fit better. The outside little o ring for tensioning the magazine seems a bit flimsy in concept.

    nothing

  • Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

Seems to be a decent design except for the fact that if you do not have a scope mount height of 1.75, the magazine will not fit into the Crown and the top hits the scope. I could get a taller scope mount, but then the scope will be a bit high and not allow for the best check weld.

    Things I would have changed:

Create a mazagine that will work with 1.5 in and lower scope mounts .... when magazine height is approx 1.5 in or less.

    What others should know:

If the FX Crown is a precision air rifle, then I would think that it would cater to a precision cheek weld as opposed to a compromised cheek weld so that the shooter can use its magazines.

    Things I liked:

much easier and faster to load and almost $30 cheaper then the stock magazine also very well built

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

can be loaded in half the time than the standard mag well worth the money

    Things I liked:

You can load it faster because you can use two hands and it is $30 less than the original. It works well without any modification.

    Things I would have changed:

Im not saying it should be changed, but I would prefer a metal case over the plastic.

    What others should know:

With the original magazine, the spring tension was too tight and the JSB MKII pellets would hang up a bit on the edge of the rotor. FX Masterclass on YouTube with Ernest Rowe has a video on how to remedy this. After the modification its easier to load and cycles smoother. I have about 4500 shots through two magazines with no issues.
Although you should modify the original, I like the fact that the case is not plastic and is always sealed when loading to keep out debris. Time will tell on how well the side-shot holds up.
