It fit my Dreamline perfectly. It gave my barrel the stability it needed. It changed my point of impact about 2 inches high at 75 yards.

Unfortunately I was unable to use it thought it was for a impact. Had it been and I wish it was for a impact I would recommend for everyone. Its build quality is that if it was standard for that system. If I had that model I would have been more than satisfactory

I have had my band since they first came out. I got it to replace a 3D printed version I had been using that worked exceptionally well, though a bit ugly looking. The FX band is very clean and nice looking. Looks like it belongs there. My gun shoots every bit as tightly at 50 yards with it as without it (actually slightly better with the tune I have on my gun) which is an entire magazine of 34 gr MK II's @ 860 fps into a single round hole 1/2" in diameter, not center to center, and now I don't have any POI shifts if I have to have the rifle canted while shooting at squirrels etc while leaning around the side of a tree.

Make the screw slightly larger for more end surface area so they can clamp down a bit tighter, because you can accidentally bump/move the band even with the screws cranked down to the point you fear you may break one. I solved that by getting rid of the little rubber inserts provided and cutting short sections from a proper sized O ring that was slightly larger in diameter than the factory pieces, then installing into the holes and screwing down tight.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars in each category is for the reason I mentioned in things I would change. It is an excellent addition otherwise and well worth the money, but should come as standard equipment on a gun that costs this much in the first place.

Price

I was worried that the constant flexing between barrel and air fill tube would eventually cause a problem. This barrel band fixed that problem for me. Price is very high.

Style, looks and easy to install and make's the barrel a lot sturdier

Not a thing

I put this on my FX Dreamline which is my every day shooter and was worried about barrel droop and I'll be the first to tell you I grab it by the barrel so I don't worry anymore where I grab it.

Great idea, but did not work on my DreamTac Compact!

More instructions to let us know before we buy requirements of fitting our guns! I just figured the air chamber was the same size as the longer one on the standard Dreamline one.

Don't get this if you have a DreamTac Compact... will not fit... not even close!!

This is a must have feature for Dreamline rifle. Easy to install, works great.

Rifle should come with it ,FX knows that.

Easy to install and holds barrel securely. I have not shot my gun with this on yet so I don't know if it will affect accuracy or not. My gun shoots 3/4" groups at 50 yards all day without trying so I have a baseline.

Not much! First no instructions on where to place on air tube. Secondly I installed mine just below fill port cap. Shot fine without DonnieFL. Once I reinstalled Donnie point of impact shifted 4" left or right no matter what I did.

Come on FX you guys sell the accessories so you must have engineered where to place this piece on barrel. So why not share this info with consumer?

I just removed mine and shot as a stock rifle....one hole groups so far at 30yrds. This purchase was a waste of money for me. Glad to hear any feedback from shooters who put on their rifle and where. Joseph K. Akron, Oh

Well made metal band, not 3D printed plastic. Good friction fit, but movable. Holds barrel stable during actual field use; having a highly precise gun that can only perform on the shooting range, and only be transported in a hard shell case is solved by this addition.

The need for this add-on, in the first place, is the big issue. The fact that it is in different harmonic locations on different Dreamline models is also less than ideal. But while it may affect barrel harmonics, that is trivial compared to the increased robustness in real-world use.

Adding this band in conjunction with the suppressor makes disassembly of the air tube without scope and barrel disassembly a bit more challenging.
