It's perfect - exactly what I needed. I use it on my Crosman G1 Xtreme which weighs a little over 7lbs. After a day in the field it's exhausting and inconvenient carrying it around with your hands. The gun buddy solved that problem.

I didn't like it. I didn't buy it either. It came shipped free with my rifle. No loss here. It slips on the buttstock and it ruins my confidence in being able to safely carry my gun. Maybe its just me, but if your gun stock is smooth wood, the sling does not hold and slips away.

What others should know:have fun in the field, makes carying a heave rifle very easy if you have learned how to shoot with one it makes an excellent stablizer when shooting off hand if it is adj. properly.

I preferred this sling because it does not require drilling into the stock of my GAMO Bone Collector rifle to mount a swivel and provided more flexibility to install. Since I shoot left handed I was able to adapt the sling to fit my needs. I mounted the sling pad closest to the rifle stock so that when I carry the rifle on my right shoulder the stock points to the sky and the muzzle toward the ground. I also secured one end of the sling behind the trigger guard instead of near the back of the stock as shown on Pyramyd Airs website. I felt this was more secure than near the back of the stock.
