The Hatsan 25 has a factory dovetail to mount this sight and it fits perfectly. Easy to adjust and bright the point of impact to center. Comes with a battery and a spare battery. Brightness of the red dot is adjustable for either low light or bright sunshine and it works well.
Things I would have changed:Better instructions from the factory. The owner's "manual" is beyond basic.
What others should know:If you look very carefully at the adjustment screws, you will see which direction to turn them to move the impact on center. I had to use a magnifying glass to read them but my old eyes do not see as well as a younger person will. You do not have to remove the rear sight to use the red dot. The front sight is visible when you look thru the sight but you can leave it in place and ignore it. It appears that a single screw holds the front sight in place but I have not tried to remove it, yet.

It worked
Things I would have changed:That it would actually fit a 11mm rail. This scope does not or at least mine didnt fit the crosman 2240xl.
What others should know:If you have a 2240xl the. Do not get this scope. Get a trusted brand as this is clearly made in China. No way could this be made in America. If it dont fit then its junk. Not some joe here Im a USMC 2111.

Very affordable, simple to install ( I had none of the problems some of the other reviewers had), the red dot fit perfectly on my 2240 XL, nice adjustability and very bright even in the middle of the day.
Things I would have changed:Nothing comes to mind.
What others should know:Contrary to some of the negative reviews this device fits perfectly on a 11mm dovetail, don’t believe the naysayers.

Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:This sight works perfectly on my Crosman 1322. I use the gun for squirrels at close range (20-30 ft.) And once sighted in, I have a 100% success rate.

Large lens. good dot, mounts well on dovetail
Things I would have changed:Better quality control of shipping. Include lens caps.
What others should know:Item arrived in torn and opened box with only red dot inside, no literature or lens cloth. I had to use vise grips and channel locks to remove battery cover. Not sure how this was allowed to ship. After repairing marring marks on dot adjuster and battery cap unit seems to be working ok. Adjustment screws were not backwards as some reviews have mentioned.

30 MM lens is nice size
Things I would have changed:Package arrived torn and open without the lens cloth. Also quality control seems lacking somewhere along the line. I had to use channel locks and vise grips to get battery cover off which did slightly mar the cap surface but I can live with rather than do a RMA. Include lens caps.
What others should know:Would not buy again as I was really disappointed with torn and open box (without lens cloth no big deal) and a battery cap that was nearly impossible to remove. Mounting system seems good on dovetail. Hopefully adjustments on this are working as they should, Haven't tried to zero yet. I realize this is an inexpensive scope and can't expect too much but really? Limited choices for dovetail direct mount which is why I chose this.

Things I would have changed:brightness
What others should know:Even on brightest setting, dot is hard to see in daylight. Will not fit on Diana Chaser if using a magazine, due to length of optic. Mounted behind chamber is the only location. Mounted as far back as possible, the optic still protrudes over the loading gate and is low enough that a magazine cannot be inserted. Can still use the Chaser loaded singly. The Hawke 1x20mm is a lot more $, at about $110, but is short enough that it does not interfere with the magazine - and has a brighter dot, lens covers, and a device to try to cut down glare (not sure how well that works yet.) The Hawke 1x20mm is also lighter. The Hawke 1x25 and 1x30 are longer and might have the same issue as the Hatsan.

I bought this for a Diana Bandit (context) : I love the zero magnification because I can use both eyes to see the whole area, I love that the red dot is small but bright even on the lowest brightness. Acquiring the target (rats) and the dot are quick. The optics are large and clear.
Things I would have changed:A more adaptable mount would be great. Mine sits at the very back of the receiver. Being on a pistol helps by giving extended eye relief. Still the Bandit is a long pistol and somewhat more amidships would make it perfect. Diana could help out here as well but that is a different review.
What others should know:This sight is perfect for the job. I can see the whole area around the target even in low light I can hit the pesky varmints even on the run.

I have cheap red/green scopes and the dots seem to flare under all power levels. I thought it was my old eyes i'm 70, but i thought i would try a little more expensive unit. It's not my eyes, it was the cheap scopes. This unit is very solid and well built.
Things I would have changed:Scope lens covers need to be included. Problem is a nice pair of covers almost cost the same as the scope.
What others should know:If i were you i'd buy this, i think you'd be pleasantly surprised by the quality.

I love this dot sight. It works great, superb quality. The reason this dot sight Is better than any other dovetail dot sight on here, Is because Its dot starts at a very fine 3 moa. This greatly helps with precision and seeing where your hitting. The other dot sights for dovetail on here are 4 moa, 5 moa and bigger.
Things I would have changed:nothing, maybe Include some nice dust caps.
What others should know:If your looking for a great dot sight with a very precise and fine dot, then you cant do any better for the price.

Things I would have changed:the mounts to be the correct width.
What others should know:11mm mount would not close on grooves, tried three pistols- two crossmans and a hammerli 120. the mounts are too wide.

Nice, durable dove tail red dot with a small/fine dot. I believe it's 3 moa, where other dot sights are 4-6 moa, which are too large for precise shooting. 11 brightness settings but 1-3 Is fine for me. Obviously as brightness Increases, then so does the size of the dot, slightly. Works great for low light pesting and is solid. I've used It on my Beeman P17 and my Bandit, but On the bandit the mags wont work with it and I really don't want to use big ugly tall adapters that mess up my poi downrange. Yes, you can obviously still sight It In with big tall rings or adapters but the p.o.i and dot will only Intersect at that one point (say 40yds) and as distance changes, the dot and p.o.i. will move further and further away from each other and run out of elevation alot faster than something mounted down closer. So I might go with something smaller for the bandit, like a small dot sight, micro reflex sight or perhaps a pistol scope with cantilever, or as small adapters as possible.
Things I would have changed:This Is a solid and dependable red dot for dovetail with a nice fine dot but there's 2 small Issues I've had with this Dot sight. The first Is that there's no dust caps Included, but that's easily remedied. The second Issue Is, the windage, elevation adjustment seem to be backwards. Let me explain. So when swapping from one gun to another, I routinely have to re-sight. Well, on the windage adjustment, the marks are opposite of the Intended p.o.i. direction. For example, Im shooting and the point of Impact Is hitting to the right of Intended target. Well, naturally adjusting windage to "left", would start walking the p.o.i over to the left (by actually moving the dot to the right). On this Dot sight, adjusting windage to the "left" actually shifts the dot to the left, NOT the P.o.i., so that will only push your p.o.i. farther to the right. The scopes Ive used/own are setup so the marks move the p.o.i. In the Intended direction. Left moves it left, right goes right, up is up.
What others should know:Good red dot and would buy again. Just took a little bit getting used to the different types of adjustment.

I got one on a Hat 135 .30cal tuned/filled to 160bar w/ 39fpe for 1600 cycles. Was on my .25cal Hat 155 for 400 cycles. Was on my Hat .22cal 135 for a 100 cycles. Still holds zero. Has a small dot too, but when you turn it past 5 it kinda turns into an oval, my eyes arent good so maybe thats it. Scope stop is a must on the Magnum Hats. I was so happy w/ it that I bought the Optima Open Reflex and a Optima Compact Scope. All holding strong. Cant just be all luck
What others should know:If you feel a tingle in your trigger finger and you have a Vortex Hat, you could be using too heavy a pellet. It might handle it, but the optics dont like it. My .22 Hat 135 break forearms bolts when i go over 21g. I got 4 Hat 135'. One in .22 (fav pellets JSB 18g, its been rebuildt and pumped up too, makes over 35fpe) and .25 (its get'n rebuilt now, fav pellet AA25g), 2 QE 135' in .30cal (only 3 pellets available, cant go wrong) and a Torpedo 155 in .25cal (close to 10,000 cycles and works like new, this 1 will group chunks of gravel well, its a pellet whore).... and of course they all love the awesome PolyMags. Its not about not having enough power to push the heavy stuff, they got more than enough, its the stress it causes...Just say'n...happy shooting. I had Peep sites on all on account of eyes and gossip of them being scope killers. But as my eyes started get'n even worse i upgraded to glass. Havent had any problems. Im in love w/ the Vortex Ram, my springer days are over.

I like the value, metal casing, simple to use, fits my Diana Chaser with just the enough space for magazine. Easy on the eyes. Comes in original Hatsan box with extra battery .
Things I would have changed:Maybe add dust caps for the lens and sliding or adjustable clamp positions.
What others should know:I was worried about the dovetail not fitting my pistol, but glad to say that it did fit my Chaser pistol. My sight came in Hatsan box but there is no cleaning cloth (no big deal), and no lens dust caps. It took me a while to adjust sight at 30 feet but got it dialed in. Why use a dot sight? It helps my old eyes sighting targets at 30 ft. It looks cool on my pistol and rifle.
