Built sturdy, clicks are tight and crisp. Nice clear glass. Great range of lighting levels for the illuminated reticle. Excellent quality scope.

The side wheel uses a rubber interface with the side focus knob. This rubber piece does not hold securely to the focus knob on the scope I have and allows the side wheel to turn without adjusting the focus knob. I would change the side wheel to a grub screw attachment instead of friction fit with rubber.

Hawke makes GREAT optics for airgunning. I 100% recommend this scope. If you are buying or already own an air rifle that is capable of outstanding accuracy, do not cheat yourself of being able to see the full potential of it by buying a less than adequate scope.

Very solid airgunner scope; most guns will not need a better one. The design is flawless, the look is unmatched, the screw on caps are superb. Low .6" rings give enough clearance on my Royale. 20x reticle is large; very useful for airguns.

I would prefer more points on the reticle for windage holds.

Hawke has excellent c.s. should you need to warranty your scope; great to work with! Sure the scope costs a good hunk of change but once you have one you have it for life.

This was a perfect fit for Beeman/Weihrauch HW100 FSB....42mm objective allows a perfect low profile mounting with medium scope rings so you won't be craning your neck or need to elevate cheek rest for sight alignment.

I have a lot of scopes. Mostly for powder burners. This is by far the best of the best. Where do I start? The clarity, the outward appearance, the smooth adjustability of ALL the functions: eye relief, parallax adjustment, power zoom, turret adjustment, the lighted reticle. Even the metal lens covers are just what they should be. This scope is very clear, the adjustments precise. The reticle is glass etched. It is very crisp, sharp, and the mill dots are spaced for maximum usability, in my opinion.

Nothing. This is a very business like scope. There are no flying birds, loud graphics, multi color banners instructing you to do this, to do that. It's a bit understated, and I appreciate that.

I was amazed that the 2" parallax dial, when used with the supplied "pointer" which I mounted with the clamp openings exactly up and down, like they should be, read the exact yardage when the scope was focused. I focused it at 20 yards, the dial indicated 20. I focused it at 50 yards (measured) and the pointer was at 50. The only thing the very good instruction booklet doesn't tell you is that the little half ring things are to be used to loosen and retighten the metal lens covers when you adjust the eye relief.

Nice bright scope gathers light well . The reticle is one of the best mil dot systems I've used.

Whats not to like Hawk makes some of the best scopes in the business. Clear sharp optics , smooth controls , comes with a 4 inch sunshade , installed it makes it 20 inches long ! Buy it.

My opinion its perfect would not change a thing .

Mounted this scope on my Gladius 25 long with a one piece mount at 27 oz over a pound and a half it makes a heavy bullpup a little heavier , but the weight doesn't really concern me. I have other airguns that are just as heavy or heavier. I think its a good match for this bullpen. But everyone has there opinions thats what makes us all different .

Easy to zero,easy to adjust, crystal clear image, best scope I have owned. I will get another for a bigger gun.

Hard to know where to begin...everything the other reviewers have said is true. Supurb quality all around, far more accurate than certainly I can shoot, but with features that are teaching me to shoot better. In the past, I've tended to scope for the lower powers based on the idea that I'm unlkely to engage a target beyond 100 to 200 yards/meters or so. An air gun, half that. So my collection of air/firearms tend strongly to carbines wearing 1X-4X scopes, the idea being if one is woods-walking a 1X setting allows keeping both eyes open for quick target acquisition. Now, all the sudden the Hawke scope allows me to actually see the pellet going downrange -easily- and watch it rise and fall with its trajectory and even more importantly just how much even a gentle crosswind effects the right-left impact point. Pellets being far more sensitive than even .22's, much less .308 projectiles. Learning to use the half mill-dot reticle allows quantification so you can do the same every time.

Nothing with the scope, but the instructions could be on a bigger piece of paper. Aging eyes and all that, you know.

Don't skimp on the mounts, and pay attention to where it's going. Mine is on an AirArms S510 with a rotating magazine protruding above. A one piece base is not going to work with that, so pay attention. The mechanics of the turrets vs your personal needs for eye relief may require offset rings. This is a physically longish scope, (but not abnormal or excessive) so if it's to go on a springer, make sure it's going to clear the loading port.

Clear and bright even at 20x

Put this on my cricket bullpup .25 and it a deadly combo. same hole groups at 35 yards. scope stays on zero.

I wish they would send the side big wheel (focus wheel) matched to the body. I spent hours trying to figure out how to match it, had to disassemble everything.

It's a very good product, I would buy it without hesitation on my other rifles as well (if I had the money).

There is absolutely NOTHING not to like about this scope!!! Clear as a bell at all mags, super thin reticle, positive adjust and holds zero extremely well!!! This is the third Hawke scope I've purchased from PA, and I am thrilled with each one!!

If you'll be purchasing this glass you will probably be putting it on a high end rifle. Don't skimp on the mounts!! After speaking with Tyler, who was a great help, I went with BKL double strap rings that hold like a rock. I put mine on my TX and I couldn't ask for more!!

This scope is amazeing optics crystal clear I have it mounted on my Diana 56th i'm shooting paint balls off of golf tees at 200 ft. the side paralax is sweet the adjustable illumination is awesome in low light conditions 1/2 mildot very kool

If you plan on doing some long distance shooting out to 100yds. This is a great scope i'm hitting targets at that range I love my hawke scope

Excellent scope, not to heavy or even bulky.

The cover caps are screwed, hence it takes a while to put the on and off. On the other hand it's a quite reliable protection...

I can hit matches from 30 yards with this scope and my Feinwerkbau 300. German precision meets American top brand in rifle scopes ;-)

I know the price is a bit much but it's worth it

The clarity of this scope is amazing! It rivals much more expensive glass. The reticle is thin while still being very clear and easy to acquire. It will work well with all kinds of rifles. Not just air guns.

More of a positive feel on the turrets. They are a bit mushy. Flip up lens covers. You cant put the metal lens cover on the sun shade.

If you want a quality scope, this is an outstanding bang for the buck. The added price is well worth it over the Leapers I have.
