Good idea, but..
Things I would have changed:Doesn't sit level in the dovetail and can't be adjusted.

It's a nice idea but the execution was lacking for my use.
Things I would have changed:The bolt was too short, and the smaller piece was canted as a result. I also had to remove material from the larger piece in order for it to fit my Daystate receiver.

level works well
Things I would have changed:the level dose not fit well on the rifle

I like the fact that it mounts to either side and on my gun reads close to my much more expensive level. While I have not done so I will attempt to put a thin shim under the device in an effort to get a closer reading to my other level.
Things I would have changed:I cannot think of anything which would not escalate the price.
What others should know:I used a couple of blocks to level my gun in the vice. While doing that I found that the 11mm dovetails do not agree with the tops of the stock. I have other indications that the 11mm dovetails are not always perfectly aligned and straight so heed this when assessing the validity of these devices.

Compact, aluminum bodied spirit level is simple and foolproof if manufactured carefully. Mine was. Gives a clear view of whether or not one's rifle is canted off vertical when shooting (thus having affect on windage).
Things I would have changed:Perhaps a slightly larger fixing screw, and knurled as well?
What others should know:Many reviewers noted that this great for set up of one's rifle optics, but is probably best left off in the field as one more thing to potentially snag and lose off of one's weapon. Also, it is likely not going to be something that one would "consult" when lining up a shot on a varmint in the field.
The key to this working for a shooter, however, is beyond the potential of the level. Even if it is perfectly machined, it depends on the rifle manufacturer to have properly aligned the scope rail to the compression tube or the barrel for this to truly level/plumb the piece.
The level lacks any ability to adjust for manufacturer's misalignment of the scope rail to the piece. To have designed it so, would have made the piece bulky and expensive. Use common sense when utilizing the level!

It look great, nice design and easy to mounting.
Things I would have changed:The accuracy of the mounting mechanism needs work, I had to grind down the adjustment side of the dove tail mount a=to calibrate the level.
What others should know:It sits differently on most of my Hi End PCP's and needs to be custom fitted for it to sit level on the dove tail rail.

It helps keep your shots consistent if the gun is held level for every shot.
Things I would have changed:Improve the way the level clamps to the rail.
What others should know:I used pieces of electrical tape as shims to adjust level. It took a few tries but now it is perfectly level.

Nicely made.
Things I would have changed:Some way of shimming or otherwise adjusting its mount so that it can be set to the level of the gun. Instead this level reflects how it attaches to the dovetail which isn't always level.
What others should know:It works if you are lucky enough to have it attach to your dovetail rail level. Using a separate level mounted flush to the dovetail I can't get these things to reflect the same level on 4 different guns. I've switched to scope mounted levels that I can set accurately.

Works good. It's a little expensive but now that i have it on my rig, i like it and would not want to do without a level. It's a good thing to check.
Things I would have changed:Two for one would be more like it! Really!
What others should know:Remember the world is no longer level...

Fit and function and helps one align the crosshairs of their scope to be true vertical.
Things I would have changed:Not sure because it is what it is for the most part. Price! Just a little steep for $18 and what it is for sure. But it is a gadget and we all know we have to pay for them. A fair price for this item would be more in line at $10.
What others should know:On my Cometa Lynx I had to mount forward rather than to the rear for easier viewing due to clearance on the way the Lynx is made. But that is a individual gun issue. Still works but forward of scope. This system is invaluable for getting the crosshairs vertical to true level.

It's a level
Things I would have changed:Flatten one side so it could sit on top of the scope to level it
What others should know:this will allow you to level rifle but not scope, you will need another level for that
5.0 5.0

easy to mount, easy to use and insure your shooting level. For leveling a scope on a rifle it is an absolute necessity. This makes sure the rifle is level, before you try and level the scope on the rifle. No more fussing with sights or scope for left/right alignment.
Things I would have changed:plastic is fragile, stainless steel would be an excellent option material I would pay extra to have.
What others should know:If you use a springer, check regularly to insure the screw has not loosened up. I leave mine on all the time, so I'm always careful when hunting to use extra care in the woods and always carefully handling the weapon.

This level realy is in line with your scope rail. Well made and works great. I've tried many other levels including the ones from the hardware store and the BKL level that screws directly into the BKL mount. None worked as well as this Hawke level that attaches to your scope rail.
What others should know:If you attach this level to your scope rail under your scope, you can hang a pendulum from a tree limb or A-ladder then place your airgun in a gun vice. Get the gun level, then with the scope slightly loose in the scope mounts, turn the scope until the vertical cross hair is in line with the pendulum's rope. Then snug down the scope. Now your scope is true to your airgun and you can shoot using holdover and the pellet will stay on the vertical cross hair at various distances. This should also allow independent adjustment of windage and elevation assuming your scope adjustments are internally aligned with the cross hair. I plan to use to mount scopes and maybe for benchrest shooting to ensure my gun is level, but not when I carry in the field for hunting as it may bump or snag on something because it sticks out a little from the side of the gun.

Works great, you dont notice how much of a difference it makes to have a level on your gun until your groups tighten up and you hit most everything you shoot at!
Things I would have changed:could cost just a hair less...

Very well made. Easily installed and removed. Makes setting a scope correctly when mounting on the rifle a breeze. Useful on 22 caliber firearms too. Length is perfect. Compared to prices for similar products on the major firearms sites, this is a very good deal.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:If you place it just right near the front of the scope, and keep both eyes open when sighting, you can see the bubble "in the scope". Bench rest and Field Target shooters may want to leave this on all the time because of this.
