It is clear at short range with the 5 yard AO. After 500 rounds it is still in one piece.
Things I would have changed:move the AO adjustment because the scope covers move also- requiring removal with some adjustments

Great clarity, feels like a much more expensive scope.
Things I would have changed:Had to use high mounts because of the aggressive knurling on the front of the bell.

I like the fact it was a leapers scope they are only scopes for air rifles i'll buy
Things I would have changed:I did not like the adjustment wheel design// its different then the other design they have with the Allen screw lock I sent this back and bought a older version with the allen screw lock it was better and different then this Allen screw stop design
What others should know:don't over tighten your scope , I use my thumb and index finger to hold allen and when that looses its grip i stop periodically check your scope screws and rifle stock screws when shooting, especially the rifles stock screws they always come loose

I found the scope to be very impressive. The clarity of the optics was very good. I mounted the scope on a Tech Force 78G so I had to remove the weaver scope rings that came with it and install high scope rings for dovetail mount. One of the main reasons I purchased this item was its parallax spec of 5yds. to infinity. I plink a lot in my backyard at a 55 foot shooting distance. Many of the lower end scopes have a parallax spec of 100yds. to infinity which would be an issue for me. My buddy who does does a lot of deer hunting with a centerfire rifle or bow was equally impressed with this scope, especially the price. We were both surprised to discover that the Leapers scope clarity was much superior than the scope on his new Horton Bone Collector crossbow. Shipping out my order was top notch too. If an order is placed before 12 noon it ships out the same day, now that's good customer service. Thanks again Pyramyd Air.
Things I would have changed:I could not use the included weaver scope mounts so I purchased high mount scope rings with dovetail mount from Pyramyd Air for $11, so no big deal.

Excellent clarity, not too heavy, mag up to 12, AO...I like that it comes with good 4 screw rings...use this with the UTG mount....price is comparatively cheap for a sturdy, lifetime warrantee good performance instrument....
