    Things I liked:

Excellent field adjustable, hand lockable, zero resettable turrets. With these turrets you can make a quick field adjustment of a click or two when needed and still put the scope right back to the previous zero. That feature is extremely useful for FTS and hunting. Glass reticle, sharp and durable, much better than a wire reticle, especially if you want to use reticle illumination. Side wheel objective focus, works very well for ranging with the accessory side wheel, the focus has a pretty good "snap" to it for glass in this price range. Reticle illumination color adjustment. Sounds silly but it means you can adjust for exactly the color you want to see instead of the color UTG thinks you should see.

    Things I would have changed:

The range calibrations on the accessory (available separately) side wheel are not accurate. If you can't make them accurate then leave them off! (I made my own calibration marks but the factory marks got in the way of making it a clean job.) The rear lens cover. The rear cover fits on the adjustable rear focus lens and that adjustment ring is very short so the rear lens cover is hard to open without pulling the lens cap off as you do so. You eventually learn to wrap your middle finger around the hood to hold the lens cover in place while you flip it open with your thumb but it is trickier than it needs to be. Put a glass reticle in the longer version of this scope. I would really like to be able to buy ALL the features of this scope in the longer version.

    What others should know:

Please, a mil dot is a mil dot, it's not mil dot dash dot dash. Each of the marks on the reticle is a full mil dot but every other dot is a dash leading you to believe that the dash would be a half mil radian. I had to spend a lot of time with a tripod, tape measure, and a pocket calculator to sort that out. Way too clever by at least one and and three quarters and not explained in the included documentation. Little round dots every mil radian is all we need UTG, don't try to over think this. Buying a scope is a very difficult thing because to really find out if it is any good you have to mount it on a rifle and try it out. Most vendors will not allow you to return a scope that has been mounted so if the scope is lousy you are stuck. This scope is well worth the price paid for it and vastly better than anything I have seen in this price range. The things that I didn't like are minor annoyances, not show stoppers for a scope in this price range.

    Things I liked:

Nothing at this point. I would write another review if I could get a scope that works.

    Things I would have changed:

    A reticle that doesn't twist.

    What others should know:

I'm sure it would be a good scope for a PCP. As for my Bone Collector it's just too much gun for this scope.

    Things I liked:

The compact UTG 3x12 is my favorite UTG scope. The sight picture is crystal clear. Side adjustable paralax is a plus. These scopes hold a zero even when they have been bumped. The etched lens crosshair is superb. The mounts are top notch. Perfect size scope for AR platform & airguns.

    Things I would have changed:

My fisrt problem with all UTG gear is its too heavy. Second, I would prefer a fine crosshair like the full size UTG scopes. Third, I would like for Leapers to put a locknut on the retickle adjustment. Fourth, Leapers should build a series of no frills basic simple scope without all the Bells & Whistles. Light, simple and reliable.

    What others should know:

UTG scopes are the most bang for the buck. The new plastic scope boxes are a step down from the presentation boxes they used to come in. I own dozens of UTG scopes with only two failures. Leapers was drag to deal with but they did replace both scopes, after jumping through many hoops.

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

Everything so far! mounted smooth and sighted to over 125and yards, at night (under UTG light and street lights), in less than 24 shots. Mounted on a .25" cal, 960 fps, suppressed PCP bullpup with a 23.75" barrel. Zeroed using Air Arms 25.4 gr dome pellets

    Things I would have changed:

It seems a little heavy but thats a small trade off, especially with the short length.

    What others should know:

I rate this at least as good as a hawke, 4-12x40 scope that costs over $100 more. The only question is whether it will last as well. The 36 color light seems really silly but the controls are really simple the scope remembers the exact setting you left off with! This is aout the 5th UTG scope I've ought and they're all great. This one is my new personal favorite!

    Things I liked:

This scope has a very clear view throughout the power range. The side focus seems to be accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope is a little on the heavy side, and the Mil Dots are a little on the large side.

    What others should know:

Using a large side wheel on the focus knob makes it very easy to make accurate adjustments.

    Things I liked:

the illumination works well and the many choice of colors is fun to play with, however it is more of marketing tool than a useful targeting feature. The small size is helpful, since it allows excellent access to the loading port on my gun.

    Things I would have changed:

the quality of glass, grinding, and/or surface coatings are OK, but not great. The scope lacks clarity around the edges. The battery cover is a chore to work with. The parallax adjustment is close, but not exact. You will need to test it against known distances and create a "cheat sheet" to aid your sighting. The mil-dot reticule is always helpful to aid your use of "kentucky windage".

    What others should know:

This is average Chinese glass. It works OK when the target is in good light. The illumination helps bracket the target when things get dim. It is a useful tool, but do not expect edge to edge clarity in the field of view or precision when viewing dark objects in deep shadows.

    Things I liked:

Clear view, nice fine reticule. Feels nice and solid. Glass reticule.

    Things I would have changed:

Lens cover for "eye" side does not stay on. Tough to correct with the light controls being located where they are with Swat style parallax adjustment.

    What others should know:

Higher rings make for more comfortable eye alignment. For the price it would be nice to have the option to select from high or medium.

    Things I liked:

    side parralax, assortment of colors

    Things I would have changed:

I had the same problem as another user, would not hold zero. 1 or 2 shots then it would start moving. Got a replacement and this one was off bad. It had a twist in the tube that made the cross hairs line up at 11 and 5 not 12 - 6. You had to rotate the scope to the right to get the crosshairs straight and then the turrets and battery holder were slanted to the right. Not sure how that one got out of the factory. Long story short wasted many hours and still don't have a working scope.

    Things I liked:

Things i like about this this scope , its a solid built scope this is my second UTG scope its clear and the etched glass reticle is a must for an airgunner . I would also recommend getting the optional SWAT 80mm big wheel for easy focus . The scopes compact size is ideal for my airguns and it looks amazing resting on top of them . Overall im very satisfied with my purchase.

    Things I would have changed:

Its a bit on the heavy side , but nothing that would deter me from buying another one

    Things I liked:

Utg gets it right. The scope is perfect on my rugher sr22. The etched glass really has crisp lines and the mil dots don't crowd the sight window. Love the side focus too. Read another review about the yardage not being correct but i set the eye focus and mine is perfect.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe i would change the scope ring hight. It comes with medium i think. The highs are inexpensive. They'll be on my next order.

    What others should know:

Really cool matte finish, zero lock rings, flip caps, everything!

    Things I liked:

What a wonderful scope crystal clear and the mil dots are perfect. I put this on a Sam Yang 909 light hunter and zeroed it at 50 yd.s with the mil dots I can shoot out to 100 yd.s without hesitation.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at all.

    What others should know:

If mounting on a Sam Yang 909 add these two parts BKL 3/8" or 11mm Dovetail Riser, .60" Long, Matte Black in order to clear the rear sight.UTG Max Strength Quick-Detach 30mm Rings, Medium, 9-11mm Dovetail. You will be happy !!!

    Things I liked:

Put this scope on a .308 and used it for hogs, some in weak moonlight. Light gathering is very good. Adjustable parallax is vital for tight shots at ranges under 50 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope covers are noisy when popped open. A couple of dots of foam glued in strategic positions fixed that.

    What others should know:

Good glass makes all the difference if you want to make the first shot count every time.

    Things I liked:

    The glass etched reticle

    Things I would have changed:

Make it lighter .get rid of the luminated reticle

    What others should know:

It is the same scope as the utg 3-12 compact except with the glass reticle , which is much thinner .It also has 4 dots and 5 lines on each of the crosshairs instead of the nine dots on the compact. There is a line before and after each dot. Dots and lines are all the same distance apart . The crosshairs on the very outside of the reticle are very thick and do not light up or connect with the etched part of the reticle . I orginally bought the utg 3-12 compact but did not like the thick reticle .this reticle is as least twice as thin. Also this scope seams clearer

The wieght the finish looks well built

    Things I would have changed:

    Make it clearer

    What others should know:

Is does not have a clear picture as other leepers. The side focus wheel has yardage marked on it but are inaccurate. I would not use this short scope on afull size rifle.
