For the price this is okay, nice glass seems well built.Things I would have changed:
Nothing.What others should know:
The scope work as it should.
Only had for a month, but I've shot almost 200 rounds without a problem. Able to sight-in quickly. I have only 7 yards in my basement for my indoor range so I'm happy for the adjustable focus. Anxious to get outdoors soon to sight in again at 25 yds, which I like for squirrels.Things I would have changed:
I have no need for the multi-color feature but I will experiment with it in time to see if there is an advantage to using it.
Multi color retical, adjustable parallaxThings I would have changed:
More zoom and parallax adjuster on the sideWhat others should know:
Great scope for the money
This is a very well made product that holds zero very well. The turrets are easy to adjust, but the value of an illuminated reticle I just don't see the need.Things I would have changed:
Drop the illuminated reticle.
The sight picture on this scope is crystal clear. The enumerated turrets are helpful in set up and adjustments. The locking rings on the turrets are easy to use and soundly lock down one's scope settings. The Objective Lens adjustment is precise and, if anything, is necessarily a bit stiff so that it stays put where it is placed. The adjustment for one's eye focus is similarly necessarily stiff. The illuminated reticle is a good thing although in my basement range it is of limited utility. I can see that pest elimination in my garden at dusk might prove the efficacy of this feature.Things I would have changed:
There is nothing much I would change on this scope. This is my second such scope which was purchased to replace an RWS 3x9 40 AO standard scope supplied on my RWS 350 Feuerkraft Pro Compact. The violence of the shot cycle destroyed two of the RWS scopes, and enough was enough. The replacement from RWS will be put on another, and less violent air gun in the future. I have confidence that the RWS 350 FKPC will not so easily destroy this True Hunter, as it seems to be made of sterner stuff than the original RWS scope. What others should know:
You get what you pay for. This scope is almost 2 1/2 to 3 times the price of the standard scope that came with the RWS 350. It's sibling has survived the violence of the Hatsan M-135 mainspring, and I expect this one to survive the RWS 350. I may be preaching to the choir, but only purchase scopes proven to have resistance to the double-recoil of heavy magnum springers. Cheap/bargain scopes, aren't either in the final analysis. I may sound like a sales representative for PA, but the bottom line is to buy a better product for more money ONCE than to be exchanging it for its replacements repeatedly. Besides, one saves on the shipping costs at UPS!
I bought this scope to replace the one that came on my Stoeger X20. A great improvement. What others should know:
The rings that come with this scope will not fit the groves on the Stoeger X20. The rings that came on the rifle will work fine.
Well made, easy to use. I like it and will purchase another.
good eye relief, clear image for an inexpensive scope.Things I would have changed:
a little bolder cross hairs, with my old eyes when i get focused on a target at 75+yds they tend to blurr. What others should know:
great service from the folks at pyramyd air
Own three of these scopes only had one the give trouble and it was defective out of the box. the other two are really great all aroundThings I would have changed:
little better price. would helpWhat others should know:
Great value for the money. This scope sits on my RWS 48 and remains zero after the first 300 rounds. The scope ring that came with it was too high so I switch it to a medium height and now it is perfect.Things I would have changed:
The lighted reticle reflects light on the scope tube inside.I hardly have a need to use the loghts anyway.
The scope is fulfilling every need I have. It certainly has the reputation of being rugged and sturdy. Those were the characteristics I was searching for. I tried not to buy one of these scopes because of the electronics, but everyone recommends them. I am now counting on a long durable service from this scope.Things I would have changed:
Though useful to some, I do not use the illumination cross hairs. I would prefer the scope without the electronics. This scope was recommended by just about everyone who can talk, so I thought myself crazy if I didn't buy one. What others should know:
Very nice scope rings enclosed. Very nice indeed.
I can see!!!!Things I would have changed:
Get high mounts so I can use it properlyWhat others should know:
The Leaper/UTG scopes are THE BEST scopes for any money you could spend. Clear optics, durable, and ease of adjustments. If you'll pardon the PUN....they're bullet proof!Things I would have changed:
NothingWhat others should know:
I have been putting Leapers scopes on all my guns since buying my first one. You can't go wrong with any UTG product...Rings to red dots. Buy with confidence.
Excellent scope for the money. The illuminated reticle is a real plus! Contains everything you need to place it.Things I would have changed:
Nothing.What others should know:
This is a nice scope I put it on my .25 Marauder and am going to put one on my new .22 Marauder.Things I would have changed:
Nothing its set up right to start with. What others should know:
Pyramyd Air is a great place to do business with I know I have done business with some on line companies and if you have a problem they act like they never heard of you that's if you can get hold of them at all .In contrast if you have a problem with any product from Pyramyd Air they do everything possible to make it right and keep you a happy customer.
Overall, I think this is a lot of scope for the money. I have had the scope mounted on a RWS 54 Air King that has previously killed two "springer-rated" scopes in under 50 shots. Over the course of about 500 shots, the UTG has held zero and held up perfectly.Things I would have changed:
I would get rid of the illuminated reticle. It adds a lot of weight to an already heavy scope. I found the illuminated reticle even on its lowest setting is too bright. The glass is not the brightest, but very good for a scope under $100.What others should know:
This scope is definitely a bit on the heavy side. This particular scope package comes with weaver rings and most airguns will require 3/8" dovetail. So get some rings if you do not have a weaver or picatinny rail on your rifle.
Excellent quality for the price. Good owner's manual and lens cloth included. All the adjustments felt very smooth like a much more expensive scope.Things I would have changed:
Could be less weight, but for the price that probably is not possible, also it should be available with other mounting rings, as an option.I had to order Dovetail rings to fit my Benjamin Titan NP,.177What others should know:
This scope is very easy to Zero in and over all I am very happy with it. I like the AO and Illuminated Mil- Dot reticle. I wasn't sure About the Illuminated reticle but it really helps in low light situations, or dark background shots.
Everything! Especially the capless turrent style adjusters.Things I would have changed:
Offer a choice of mounts, Either Weaver or 11mm scope mount. What others should know:
It has held up well to the vibration of my springer air gun.
Full size, full feature scope... Did I say FULL SIZE? The scope on my 7mm mag. isn't this big. I love the ability to easily accommodate my nearsightedness. I adjusted the eyepiece "out", turned the bell to match my range distance, and dialed in the bulls-eye with less than 6 shots. I hope that I remember to shut off the light... But it shipped with two batteries.Things I would have changed:
The flip up lens caps didn't stay on very long. Defeated the purpose of an adjustable bell - and just got in the way on the eyepiece. What others should know:
It's mounted on a TX200 HC using the UTG offset mount (my mount had two stop pins - it was big enough and heavy enough that the stop pins were effective in eliminating any creep). Fits well in a "42" tactical case"
The zero reference adjustment knobs are great for those tweaks and it works well at dusk.Things I would have changed:
The umpteen different color reticule mode can get a bit annoying. What others should know:
Great scope, maybe a bit much for an air riffle.
