    Things I liked:

Seems like a decent scope. I got it for my Hatsan AT44 Tact QE. It fits without needing to buy additional mounting hardware (no need to remove anything from QE models). The glass is clear and sharp. You can change the colors to make it easier to see in different lighting conditions (apparently). It comes with 2 batteries (1 spare) which is good because nobody ever has one of those flat watch batteries at home when they are needed. The lens caps are better than those ones that are held on by that elastic stuff. These ones flip open like the ones snipers use in the movies which is slightly cooler.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't have any serious complaints. If I want to be picky, The elevation and windage adjustments are a little stiff on mine. It's probably user error but sometimes it takes many full turns to move the zero by a millimeter and other times, a few clicks moves it half and inch. It's heavy which is more of an issue because my air rifle is already heavy so the combination is cumbersome. I would prefer a wider field of view. It's not great in low light. When you turn on the color changing feature, the illumination further obscures the target in low light due to the glare. It seems like more of a gimmick which I'll probably never use again. I would trade that feature for a polarized lens for use in bright light. I wish the zero would be the same at multiple distances. Give us an off button. Having to press the red and green button together takes 7-9 attempts to make it work. I know it's a cheapish scope but what a strange area to econamize. How much could an off button really be???

    What others should know:

If you don't know what you're doing, don't expect that one of these scopes will have you hitting the bullseye at multiple distances just by putting the x where you want the pellet to go. There is more to it, so spend some time reading up on how to use one properly. It is not as easy as it looks in that movie "Sniper". If you mainly shoot indoors or a close range (like in your backyard), a cheap (ish) laser site will be far easier to use (except in bright sunlight). I have both and I find the laser to be more effective for killing squirrels at 20 to 40 feet. By the time I find them in my scope, they're gone. If you want to hit anything at 50 yards, a scope like this does the job. If you are going out to 100 yards, spend the extra $20 on the Swat model. The magnification and the clarity are good for the price. If you were using a scope that came free with your first springer, this will be a huge step up!

Everything about this scope says quality. Very nice construction, great reticle options, super mounting system. crystal optics.

    Things I would have changed:

Put in some options, dovetail, weaver, on the mounting system. I bought some of the UTG inserts for my 22 rifle and they worked beautifully.

    What others should know:

At $100 you get more than your money's worth. Love this scope. It did add one pound six ouces to a 5.5 pound rifle, Still just under seven pounds total, not bad. It's length looks like overkill on airguns and 22 rimfires but LOOKS COUNT, and this looks very nice.

    Things I liked:

Only had for a month, but I've shot almost 200 rounds without a problem. Able to sight-in quickly. I have only 7 yards in my basement for my indoor range so I'm happy for the adjustable focus. Anxious to get outdoors soon to sight in again at 25 yds, which I like for squirrels.

    Things I would have changed:

I have no need for the multi-color feature but I will experiment with it in time to see if there is an advantage to using it.

    Things I liked:

This is a very well made product that holds zero very well. The turrets are easy to adjust, but the value of an illuminated reticle I just don't see the need.

    Things I would have changed:

    Drop the illuminated reticle.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

The sight picture on this scope is crystal clear. The enumerated turrets are helpful in set up and adjustments. The locking rings on the turrets are easy to use and soundly lock down one's scope settings. The Objective Lens adjustment is precise and, if anything, is necessarily a bit stiff so that it stays put where it is placed. The adjustment for one's eye focus is similarly necessarily stiff. The illuminated reticle is a good thing although in my basement range it is of limited utility. I can see that pest elimination in my garden at dusk might prove the efficacy of this feature.

    Things I would have changed:

There is nothing much I would change on this scope. This is my second such scope which was purchased to replace an RWS 3x9 40 AO standard scope supplied on my RWS 350 Feuerkraft Pro Compact. The violence of the shot cycle destroyed two of the RWS scopes, and enough was enough. The replacement from RWS will be put on another, and less violent air gun in the future. I have confidence that the RWS 350 FKPC will not so easily destroy this True Hunter, as it seems to be made of sterner stuff than the original RWS scope.

    What others should know:

You get what you pay for. This scope is almost 2 1/2 to 3 times the price of the standard scope that came with the RWS 350. It's sibling has survived the violence of the Hatsan M-135 mainspring, and I expect this one to survive the RWS 350. I may be preaching to the choir, but only purchase scopes proven to have resistance to the double-recoil of heavy magnum springers. Cheap/bargain scopes, aren't either in the final analysis. I may sound like a sales representative for PA, but the bottom line is to buy a better product for more money ONCE than to be exchanging it for its replacements repeatedly. Besides, one saves on the shipping costs at UPS!

    Things I liked:

I bought this scope to replace the one that came on my Stoeger X20. A great improvement.

    What others should know:

The rings that come with this scope will not fit the groves on the Stoeger X20. The rings that came on the rifle will work fine.

    Things I liked:

Great value for the money. This scope sits on my RWS 48 and remains zero after the first 300 rounds. The scope ring that came with it was too high so I switch it to a medium height and now it is perfect.

    Things I would have changed:

The lighted reticle reflects light on the scope tube inside.I hardly have a need to use the loghts anyway.

    Things I liked:

The scope is fulfilling every need I have. It certainly has the reputation of being rugged and sturdy. Those were the characteristics I was searching for. I tried not to buy one of these scopes because of the electronics, but everyone recommends them. I am now counting on a long durable service from this scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Though useful to some, I do not use the illumination cross hairs. I would prefer the scope without the electronics. This scope was recommended by just about everyone who can talk, so I thought myself crazy if I didn't buy one.

    What others should know:

Very nice scope rings enclosed. Very nice indeed.

  • Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Overall, I think this is a lot of scope for the money. I have had the scope mounted on a RWS 54 Air King that has previously killed two "springer-rated" scopes in under 50 shots. Over the course of about 500 shots, the UTG has held zero and held up perfectly.

    Things I would have changed:

I would get rid of the illuminated reticle. It adds a lot of weight to an already heavy scope. I found the illuminated reticle even on its lowest setting is too bright. The glass is not the brightest, but very good for a scope under $100.

    What others should know:

This scope is definitely a bit on the heavy side. This particular scope package comes with weaver rings and most airguns will require 3/8" dovetail. So get some rings if you do not have a weaver or picatinny rail on your rifle.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Excellent quality for the price. Good owner's manual and lens cloth included. All the adjustments felt very smooth like a much more expensive scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Could be less weight, but for the price that probably is not possible, also it should be available with other mounting rings, as an option.I had to order Dovetail rings to fit my Benjamin Titan NP,.177

    What others should know:

This scope is very easy to Zero in and over all I am very happy with it. I like the AO and Illuminated Mil- Dot reticle. I wasn't sure About the Illuminated reticle but it really helps in low light situations, or dark background shots.
