    Great Addition to equipment

I bought these so that I would never be without a clip for my P226 CO2 Air Pistol. I bought the pistol to match for practice with my Sig 9mm P226 SS Elite. When I removed my pistol from my safe after two years of not being able to use it because of a broken clip, I loaded one of the new ones and inserted it on the pistol. Added a new CO2 cylinder. The first shot sounded weak, the second shot was even weaker and the third time, it would not even function the action. Tried a second new CO2 cylinder - same results. No escaping gases when I removed the cylinders except for a small puff. Tried a third cylinder and the other new clip - nothing changed. So here I am with two good clips and an Sig Sauer P226 air pistol that makes an attention getting paper weight Clips get a 5 for quality, clips and gun gets a zero value because I have nothing that will work with them.

    Things I liked:

They work great, good price, no problems as yet, just make sure to set the pellet evenly.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing

    What others should know:

Watch what type of pellets you use wad cutters, work best, pointed pelllets not so good if at all they are to long for the belt feed, great for use in single shot guns

    My P226 Legion

I wanted personal protection and wanted the best. I got both with my P226 Legion. Perfect craftsmanship. The most comfortable gun I own. This SAO model is exactly what I was looking for.

    Poor functionality

I purchased these and have been unable to successfully fire a full clip from them. It seems as though the alignment is off as it will discharge gas from the cartridge, but no pellet is released. Disappointing

    SIG warranty

I had some initial trouble with my P226 pellet pistol. The magazine got stuck. Apparently the catch broke when I tried to get it out. SIG sent me a return label and fixed it in short order. The weight and balance would make for good practice. That's why I bought it. However I can't get it out without my kids wanting to use it. The trigger on my real pistol is better.

    Great Features

I purchased this item so that I may introduce new people into the sport, before handing them a live round firearm so they can get the feel of the weight and the blow back, and I also use myself at the range where I can practice more and not go thru as much ammo,I am very happy with my purchase

    Things I liked:

They work well once broken in.

    Things I would have changed:

They require a couple of minutes of spinning by hand to round off the plastic gears before the pistol will advance them reliably. No big deal once you accept needing to take that step.

    What others should know:

Dont give up if it fails to revolve in the gun rift out of the package. Spend a couple of minute spinning outside of the gun until it works.

    Things I liked:

Plastic construction doesn't interfere with function or reliability, and keeps these magazines nice and light. But no matter what you think of them, you're going to want plenty of spares, because the SIG Sauer P226 can empty as many as four of them on a single CO2 cartridge. Fortunately, they are a good value, as they are sold two to a package.

    Things I would have changed:

Surprisingly, these magazines are all-plastic -- except for the magnets installed to hold BBs in place; this despite clear warnings in the SIG Sauer P226 instructions to shoot only lead pellets. They have no way of indicating, to the gun or to the shooter, when they are empty, so there is no way to prevent you from wasting all the CO2 you want "shooting blanks."

    What others should know:

These magazines cannot be inserted "backwards," but they can jam in the magazine well if force is used trying to insert them the wrong way. I marked all my mags on one side so I can easily see which way to insert them.

Popular mag design. Fits Gamo's c15 bone collector.

    Things I liked:

Work just like the one that came with my P226.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing about the magazine itself. I think that Sig should include two magazines with the pistol.

    What others should know:

The P226 is a pellet pistol (not BBs). However, I shoot mine a lot (1000s of pellets through it) so I decided after the warranty expired to risk it and start shooting steel BBs. These magazines fed them just fine. After several 1000 BBs through it, and I have noticed no reduction in accuracy or function with BBs or pellets. I still get the same reasonable accuracy (minute of tin can at 10 yards), but at lower cost and less lead. I have used Hornady Black Diamond BBs exclusively, but I don't know if that matters. I wouldn't advise it - you could have problems and you will almost certainly void your warranty, but the magazine and gun have functioned fine for me with BBs. For what it's worth. Of course be extra careful with any BB gun, because BBs bounce back more than pellets if they hit anything hard.

    Things I liked:

    Nothing...they don't work.

    Things I would have changed:

I bought two packs of these and not one of the four magazines worked in my P226. Pellets would not come out. I tried a new CO2 cylinder but that didn't help. The magazine that came with the pistol is the only one that works.

Can't wait for the next generation of pellet mags aThis design of the rotary mag 8 and flip is a miserable design

    What others should know:

A necessary evil. Nobody has designed one of these mags that doesn't have pellets drop out

    Things I liked:

Works well, longevity yet to be proved but similar designs seem sturdy enough & priced about where they should be. Still can't see how BBs are used as circumference difference allows them to fall out easily. Will try tracing paper as wadding or maybe going to lead balls easier.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Great gun, great price, now off to make a FAKE suppressor in the workshop. Seeing how SIG is so quick to fill backup demand, it would benefit me to fashion some PVC pipe & flat black paint into an added length/muzzle weight device to complete the package. Hope the .22 caliber rifle versions are on they're way but it'll give me time to work with the pistol.
