This item works great! But for the price of these bows these should already be installed or at least in the box

This just doesn’t work. When installed the knob might stick out 1/8” if not less. Almost useless…No it is useless. Disappointed in the engineer that designed this useless kit.

Very easy to install and inexpensive. Not sure why it doesn’t just come from factory with ambidextrous safety? I’m a right hand shooter and it’s more intuitive for me to operate the safety from left side, plus I can quickly see if it’s in Fire or Safe position with less movement.

The kit works as I expected. Simply screw in the set screw and then screw the brass knob onto the set screw.

Safety on both sides works well. I do wish that the engineers at Tenpoint would go back to the way they had this included in previous years. But I do not know the exact reasons for the changes. It may be something other than a very small cost and weight savings.

Price of Bow it should of came on the Bow as previous model TenPoint Bows. Thought the Left would be the same configuration as the right safety button. Wish they were a little bit bigger for when shooting with gloves when cold.

Just purchased the Nitro 505, and was very disappointed it did not have a left handed safety on it, as there is a place for it. Considering the add on safety you can buy probably only cost a couple bucks to manufacture, it seems like good customer service to already have it on there, especially for the price of the crossbow.

I was disappointed to buy a higher end now that could easily have a dual safety already in place for a buck or two. Then offer a replacement to add and it’s a smaller piece compared to the one that comes with. Would really appreciate an upgrade to that piece or just standard as it’s not a weight or cost factor. Glad to have something for being a left handed shooter but needs work.

I'm Lefthanded also ! After trying the safety kit. Yes, it does go in a little farther than I like also. So I screwed in the screw insert. Then used Blue Threadlocker on the brass part and adjust where I like it. That way U can still unscrew it if U need too. so far it works out great. Only 4 stars because of fact the screw really needs to be a little longer. ! I used this kit on a Vapar RS470

It does not stick out like the standard safety pin, it should be made exact same as other side

The left-hand safety is a great idea. I'm left-handed a shooting. The reason I gave four stars is because it seems the stem does not stick out as far as i would like. If your wearing gloves it might just be difficult to feel that stem.
