Too many applications one I would never take my slide off to put dampener on

Found a video on installing the pieces and they did seem to reduce noise quite a bit. It did have extra pieces I didn’t need with my crossbow though.

Noticed a slight difference. Easy to put on. Directions are universal not for a specific crossbow, when installing the noise reducer on the rail.

Took very little time to install on crossbow. Very easy and simple to install. Along with string dampening system quieted the twang and sound and vibration in my cheek/ear when shooting. Took one star off because I cannot figure out how the barrel dampeners work with my Invader 400. I may not even be able to utilize them, not sure. I might have needed to buy the smaller silencer package but i wanted the arrow retention spring piece. All in all, it suprressed the sound and vibration duration quite a bit, even after string dampener installation which I also highly recommend.

This kit works very well. Went on easily and reduces a lot of the vibration in the bow.

The kit was simple to install. The pieces under the bolt shaft seems to obstruct the bowstring during shooting. Causing bolt speed and slight deflection. Resighting can address the bolt impact point. The bolt slow down is worth the gain in the noise suppression.

A very easy to install kit. Makes a noticeable difference in the reduction of the noise when shooting my crossbow. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to install yourself on your crossbow. The vibration is significantly decreased. I have to think this will also extend the life of the crossbow.

Installed these noise dampeners on my crossbow and I am really impressed with them.

These silencers made a big difference. They are very quiet.

I add this to my turbo gt and it knocked down the noise.

I purchased the HCA 13617 model for my new Invader X4. Foot stirrup, bolt tension ,and limb dampeners fit fine. No issues with them coming off limbs as of yet. As other reviews posted, only 2 of the barrel dampeners will fit for sure as the cable saver will barely touch them with 2 in. I installed with the groove side up first and it seems like that is how there made to install, but they were not snug and slid in the channel this way. The spacers were to much and I couldnt use those at all. I ended up disassembling again and installed the barrel dampeners with the flat side up and they fit more snug and dont appear to slide in the cable saver channel now. Definitely seem to take at least some of the noise off, but seems smoother now, probably by reducing vibrations. Its still a crossbow and can only be suppressed so much. If you want stealth quiet, maybe switch to a blow gun.

Made absolutely no difference at all on my Invader X4. 92 decibels without the dampeners and 92 decibels with the dampeners. Unfortunately the one accessory that may actually reduce the noise (string dampeners) isn’t compatible with the X4.

The barrel dampeners are not compatible with the Invader X4. Here's more detail.
There are four barrel dampeners provided with this kit. They are designed to fit snug between the cable saver and the end of the barrel that butts up to the Vibra-Cush portion of the bow assembly. In the Q&A section of this site, company reps are saying three of the four will fit. This is not true. It's physically impossible. The maximum number of barrel dampeners that the Invader X4 can accept is two. However, when two are installed there is at least an 1/8" of play. In other words, three to too much and two is too little. I'm puzzled that the company doesn't appear to know there's a compatibility issue with the Invader X4. Have they even tried to install the barrel dampeners? Or just assuming. I give this product 1 star for that fact alone. Although the Invader X4 is my first crossbow, I've been bowhunting with compound bows for over 4 decades. So I know my way around archery technology and offer this review with considerable experience.

I purchased this kit for my Shadow Ultra-Lite because it seemed a little on the noisy side....Before I installed this ,I shot my crossbow a few times while using a decibel meter...Then with the dampening package...It worked ,lowered it by 5 decibels.. Not a lot but better. Well worth the money....Thanks TenPoint !!
