TenPoint XTEND 6" Adjustable Crank Reviews

Did not fit either my Vengent S440 that has an extended crank or my new Viper S415

I was in the stand and went to cock my bow only to notice the end of the crane handle was missing the piece that inserts into the bow crank. Now my hunt is over with no way to cock the bow. Searching for the part without buying a new crank handle with no luck.

I bought this as a backup for my viper S400. Identical to the original in case I lose it in the field.

Excellent Bow! Awesome design, the safety features sold me! Cocking and de-cocking is no doubt the safest way to handle a bow without shooting to de-cock. As far as the handle goes... the handle did fall out a couple of times but if you don't address the cause and find a cure, go ahead and keep losing handles. I have a wide piece of Velcro that does the job. Handle stays in place, no problem.

Works as advertised. Should be a brighter color so it can be found if dropped in the woods.

Well add me to the list of lost crank handles. S400 is great but lost my crank handle last weekend of course didn't notice till it was to late. Its said to read reviews dating back years for the same issue. Now looking online for ideas to prevent this again. Good thing a 1/4" drive works and cheaper.

Bought an extra handle for my viper to have on hand. They have made many great updates to this product from its original design. The newest version is great!!!

This crank handle is junk. I lost it on my 2nd hunt. They don't stay in the butt stock and fall out. I now use a 1/4 inch drive ratchet works great and makes no noise. Hopefully TENPOINT will improve this design so it stays in the buttstock storage. I would purchase a new one if I knew it would stay secured.

The drive portion of the crank handle literally fell out of the handle, leading to me missing an entire morning hunt, leading me to improvise by using a 1/4" socket drive, and requiring me to purchase the replacement you're asking me to review.

Love the crossbow. Hate the crank handle. Will not stay in stock. Have lost it twice and found it NONE!!!! Have all ready purchased one and lost that one. None I can't hunt because I can't cock the crossbow. $1600.00 plus $70.00 for a replacement that I have lost all ready!!!!

I purchased a 470RS and have owned for a year now. The crank handle will not stay locked in place and the set screw continuously comes loose and if the attachment falls off in the field good luck finding it. Luckily I caught it last night while hunting or I would have been SOL. The component is very important without it good luck. Going to order another one and hope it works better. Not too happy after spending that much $$$.

My Viper S400 is absolutely the best crossbow available. However, because of the set screw keeps loosening on the release pin on the handle that attaches to the crank. The crank is lost or will not stay in to crank safely. The cross bow is useless when unable to crank. This has to be addressed! I am very disappointed in the craftsman ship and quality of the crank handle! Please do not give me the generic reply you give everyone else. Use the energy to fix the problem! I would recommend this product if this problem is fixed, otherwise, NO!

Recently purchased a new Viper S400 for deer season here in Georgia. Unfortunately, the crank handle fell out on during a 2 mile hike into a WMA. Spent two days retracing my steps trying to locate the handle unsuccessfully. Do yourself a favor and either store your crank handle in your pack or secure it using a velcro strap if you prefer to carry it in the stock as designed.

The crane is lightweight and easy-to-use. But the paint peeled off the first time I used it. I expected better quality for the price of the product.

I like the fact that the crank handle locks into the stock so you always have it with the crossbow.

I’ve recently purchased the viper s400, love the bow but my crank handle keeps falling out. I believe there should be 2 balls on the end that helps lock it in place and mine only has one. Will customer service make this good ?

This crossbow is very accurate and well built crossbow. Unfortunately it fell out on the very first hunt I used it. I walked almost a mile, climbed tree will climber, and pulled up bow to get ready for a great hunt. Then I realized the crank fell out somewhere on the walk in. I couldn’t find so now I have to find another or I can’t use bow.

I bought a Viper 400 a few weeks ago. Best crossbow I've ever used. Accurate, compact, and easy to cock/decock. However, the crank handle doesn't stay attached. After almost losing it on a few hunts, it came offhand was lost in the woods. Now the crossbow can't be cocked. Can't find any cranks in stock. Going to see how the customer service stacks up. Hopefully, it is as good as the crossbow.

This handle is no good fell off 5 times and the 6th time I finally lost it pay this much for a crossbow and this happens and I called costomer service and guess what no service at all it seem that you don't care about your costomer after they buy your product I want to give this a minus star for bad product and even worse costomer service

Cranck handle ball bearings will no longer function as advertised and described in the manual. The button to allow the bearings to unlock and then lock when cranking no longer works?? The crank handle has fallen out of the stock several times. Considering the price we pay I would expect more from the TenPoint engineers !!! I purchased the
