My husband bought a WR invader G3 crossbow on 08/19/17 at Academy sports outdoors in Anderson South Carolina he was Practice shooting his target and went to cock it back and the string broke and it could have resulted and him losing his hand do you too a defective product .

I have hunted with longbows forever but a shoulder injury has made it difficult. I opted for the Wicked Ridge with the ACU-52 cocking device so I could continue bow hunting. I was very satisfied with the package I bought at Bass Pro. In getting the bow out to do some spring shooting when I noticed the plastic cover covering the cocking device was flopping when I retracted the string, then it just fell off. I don't think I am willing to spend $150 on a new cocking device when this one only lasted 1 season. I cant use it the way it is.

I like how it works but I had 130 lb pull cross bow and I could get it back half decent. When I saw this online about acu52 I gave my old crossbow to my daughter in law and bought new wicket ridge crossbow with 150 draw wt and said it makes it about 50 easier. Should have been 75 draw wt. it was harder to pull back then old crossbow.

An excellent addition to my crossbow, don't have to worry about forgetting my cocking device. The only problem i've had is I lost one of the magnets.

My first crossbow did not have this type of system? I used the old school cocking device. My WR ranger came with this and it is awesome.

We put these on my first Wicked Ridge bow I got. So nice and they are compact and not in the way when shooting.

wicked ridge acu 52.the first tenpoint crossbow i purchased had this cocker installed and made it easy for this 68year old disabled vet to continue hunting. while it takes longer to cock my crossbow i can now get-er-done with no assistance . light and easy to operate makes it a must for any disabled hunter. sorry i have no pictures

Generally, I think this is a great accessory and the convenience is fantastic! Only concern I have is the noise associated with the hard plastic body when using it. It would be great if there was some way of dampening the noise when one is in the deer stand or using an alternative material for the body and/or string hooks.
