Things I liked:

Nice compact frame. Good weight and "feel" overall. The metal in the magazine and bolt/blowback give it just the right amount of weight. The plastic is beefy, seems like it will take some abuse without cracking or breaking. It is a cheap red dot, but it does the job. After sighting it in, we were getting one inch groups at ten yards using Umarex Precision Steel BBs 5.1 grains. In semi, of course. That is not far, but we will see how it does after several hundred rounds go down the barrel. And they will. In full auto this thing rocks! I like it better than my friend's DPMS. So does my wife. She is wanting to get one in all black. This breaks down just like the real steel. Pull the pin by the charging handle, and pivot to get access to the charging and bolt assemblies. Easy access to the breach end of the barrel to remove any bb that might get stuck. We did not have any problems, but only shot 150 or so before changing co2. Did not want to push it...

Things I would have changed:

Provide a second magazine with this package. At $50.00 for a spare, this is ridiculous. It cost what, ten bucks for the Taiwanese to make these? In full auto, it unloads in less than 4 seconds. A spare mag (or 4) is essential!

What others should know:

As soon as you get it, pull the break down pin and separate both halves of the receiver. There was a lot of gunk around the blowback assembly on mine. The first time I pulled the charging handle, it did not want to latch back in place. Probably preservative, but it was excessive. Same with the inside of the barrel. Had to run a dozen patches down it before they came out clean.

Things I liked:

looks and weight . Only got to shoot 2 days. Right co2 cylinder stopped working. returned to P/A

Things I would have changed:

make a better magazine that utilizes both co2 cylinders. I am 6'1 and the stock is at least an inch and a half short when fully extended

What others should know:

Found a U tube video of a guy fixing the right co2 cylinder problem. The comments below the video indicate others have experienced the same problem. One comment indicated that Crosman was waiting on a new supply of mags. People are returning their mags to Daisy. Daisy knows they have a problem

    Things I liked:

Realistic operation and construction and rapid fire capability. Reasonable cost and accuracy. Option to use high pressure air via an adapter like a PCP albeit hampered by a high pressure hose and external bottle.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer a magazine cover designed for the optional high air pressure adapter and a belt or backpack to hold the bottle.

    What others should know:

The female QD quick connect adapter in the unit I ordered was leaking air and I am in the process of exchanging it for another one. I suggest that this should always be tested for air tightness prior to shipment as a quality control measure.

    Things I liked:

Most everything, the fact that pretty much every attachment for the AR fits it. Feels and looks like a cartridge firing weapon. Full auto is almost to much fun.

    Things I would have changed:

Larger bb reservoir, 22 rounds is not nearly enough. Should be 80 rounds, that's about all you get from the two fully charged co2 cylinders.

    What others should know:

Again I didn't get credited for my purchase. I would have a lot of bull's eye bucks if they would credit me for my purchases. I've made around 8 purchases and been credited for one buy!

Full auto is almost to much fun! Worth every penny.

    Things I would have changed:

Definitely needs a much larger capacity in the magazine for bb's. 22 rounds isn't nearly enough. As soon as you pull the trigger the magazine is empty should at least be 100 plus, it says 1400 rounds a minute, but only able to shoot 22 please make a larger clip, it'd fun to let loose a couple hundred rounds in a blink of an eye.

    What others should know:

    Buy a lot of bb's and co2

The gun looks good and handles well. Right out of box after a round or two hitting a can at 20 feet was no problem, not just me my son did the same. The full auto is a blast! This thing is alot of fun.

    Things I would have changed:

25 rounds in the magazine? We would all like a couple hundred rounds. Maybe they will offer something in the future. I recommend oiling this gun before using it will operate much better. Treat it as any gun and keep it clean and lubricated,

    What others should know:

Make sure that the spring feed in the mag is fully compressed and locked while loading BBs. If it isn't you can get BBs in the spring and you need to remove them. This is not a centerfire gun and don't expect it to shoot like one.

I Love the selector switch NOW THATS FUN But it DONT LASTE LONG Also the blowback and the weight I expected it to be light but No its got some Gerth!

    Things I would have changed:

Put a bigger cylinder inside stock bigger capacity bb's LOTs of bb's //// Offer a site feature other than the halo-graphic one that it comes with? why not laser or rail open sights ?

    What others should know:

Have some patience on lining up the cover on the magazine the tabs are plastic when the co2 are loaded it must move the cover some ? Also My halo site once I mounted it just pass the ejector was very close to being accurate

    Things I would have changed:

Trap door on the mag is a pain to open. Other than that, great gun.

    What others should know:

Have lots of ammo. Nobody shoots just once !

    Things I liked:

A lot of fun without another $200 tax stamp. The weight and size is perfect for practicing, and without the cost of a full auto M16. Also without burning through a lot of expensive ammo. I would reccomend this to anyone looking for a fun backyard full auto experience.

    Things I would have changed:

A better trigger pull. This one is heavy.

    What others should know:

You can't expect an unrifled barrel to be as accurate as as a rifled barrel. However, at 30 feet, it will spread the bullseye of a 25 yard handgun target. It will also destroy all those invading aluminum cans!

    Things I liked:

Fun to shoot. On full auto it will empty the 25-round magazine in less than a second. Accuracy is okay, seems to be a bit better with heavier lead BBs (smart shot)

    Things I would have changed:

Very plasticky. Almost the entire thing is polymer. I would be willing to pay double for the same thing made of aluminum, or even pot metal at least.

    What others should know:

The polymer construction and finish is a bit rough around the edges, but the full-auto fun factor kind of makes up for it. The red dot sight included is very low, and I needed to mount it on top of a riser to use it comfortably.

    Things I liked:

I bought this gun to help with training my son on gun safety and use in the backyard since ammo is scarce and expensive right now. We have really enjoyed being able to go in the backyard whenever we want and he has become very good at proper handling and care.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish it had better regulation/consistency on the CO2 pressure. Also, it would be great to have a higher capacity of bbs.

    What others should know:

Although much of this gun is plastic, it feels very durable and well worth the buy. My favorite gun for the price!

Blowback, full auto, good weight, working charging handle and bolt release, the little bit of recoil feels nice, looks great and feels rock solid, includes a speedloader

    Things I would have changed:

For $200+ I would have liked an all metal upper and lower receiver and guard rails...I would have made the mag 30 rounds and included iron sights and a riser for the red dot sight...I would also have liked an all black option

    What others should know:

This gun is tons of fun! The plastic is robust and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. Buy this gun, you won't Be disappointed.

BUILT TO FAIL! The bolt catch will eventually snap and after contacting Crosman for a 25 cent part, knowing they use the same part in two of their other full auto BB guns, meaning they should have plenty of them..... Crosman acts like they cant get a hold of one. I bought 4 magazines at $50 each and two of the SBRs which this R1 is with a mock muzzle break instead of a mock suppressor at $200 each for a total of $400 and Crosman cant send out a 25 cent part.

Its a fun gun to shoot. You will spend lots of hours destroying cans. This guns range falls short around 30 yards.

Everything, quite accurate for a bb gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a smaller more precise dot.

    What others should know:

At first I thought something was wrong with mine. When I load the c02 I have to tighten them enough to pierce, then back it off till it starts to leak, then just snug it. If i tighten the c02 too much it somehow cuts off the flow of gas and after a few shots the gun acts like it has no c02. When done right I can get 70+ shot on 1 c02.

    Things I liked:

Well made high quality feel. Functions like the firearm counterpart. Very good accuracy for a BB rifle, which tend to drift on shot pattern a good bit. I fitted with a 3x30 scope and a suppressor and I can consistently hit a soda can at about 70 feet away.

    Things I would have changed:

This rifle is a co2 hog. Buy lots of co2. You get about 5 mags (125 shots) of firing on 2 co2s before the gun gets weak on power and unpredictable. 25 BB shots per mag goes very quickly especially full auto. For more enjoyment buy the 300 round capacity speed loading mag. I did and its great. Still 25 shots at a time but you reload with the pull of a lever in 3 secs. That makes this gun much much better.

    What others should know:

This is not for hunting. Too slow for that. This is a plinking and target gun designed for fun and sport shooting. For that it does a great job. Full auto capabilities are great but just a showpiece.

Mine worked fine in semi-auto mode, but struggled in full auto. After only the third magazine in full auto, the barrel actually shook loose(!!) and rendered the gun inoperable. As this happened past the 30-day Pyramyd return period, I have to now pay to ship it to Crosman directly for repair. I would not buy this again.
