2 of 2 Kral Puncher Armour PCP Air Rifle, Green Reviews
The futuristic look. Bought it because it's different than my other rifles. Gave it a chance. Pyramd Air has been great and the delivery system was good
Things I Would Have ChangedKral's unreliability in manufacturing. They need to pack their products better for shipping and test them before they go out the door
What Others Should KnowOpened the box, which had no damage to it. The case was busted open, the clasps were all broken off. Snapped them back together, easy enough. Get to the gun, safety didn't work, couldn't switch to "safe" The cocking lever sprung forward and misfired. Trigger as mushy as mashed potatoes. Had to return immediately for refund. Kral has had problems with cocking levers breaking, pellet probes breaking, pellets clipping the shroud and now this. Buyer Beware. Maybe your experience will be different. First and last time I buy a Kral. Can't really rate it because I couldn't use it. Gets 1 star because I couldn't choose zero

I recieved this rifle about a week ago, and have only done some initial shooting and observations. I am still working on accessories. I like the fit and finish of the rifle. So far it impresses me as a sturdy piece suitable for stability at the bench and durability in the field. I like the solid feel of the tactical body stock. I have had a few things off of the rifle so far out of curiosity, but have not removed the action from the stock / outer frame. I like the magazines and the action feels reasonable, and I expect it to wear in over time. This is the first bullpup rifle I have obtained, and the adjustment to rear cocking location seems pretty minor. My other pcp rifle is a Webley Raider 2-shot, so I have really enjoyed having a 12 shot magazine. I like the handle/bi-pod accessory! I like the green on black finish - distinctive. I have read a lot of the negative experiences posted by others, but I am expecting this rifle to hold up well based on my initial handling.
Things I Would Have ChangedI wish the original design that had the picatinny rail extended to the fore end had been continued as the rifle went into second generation production. As it is, I plan to drill and tap a picatinny rail for up front for mounting a flip up front sight. I will also replace the lower pic rail with a longer section that will allow me to under-mount a red dot laser in front of the grip. The TBS is predrilled for it, with the holes set at 4 slot spacing. It took a while to find the right rail with 4-slot spacing, most are at 6 or 10 slots on the longer rails. I think they should equip the shroud with spring-baffles and a proper air stripper. This gun is loud on high power. I got a spring and baffle set from Hill Airgun (the Marauder set fit right in, 2 baffles sounds best but 3 will fit super tight) and I'm working on the air stripper.
What Others Should KnowSo far, the rifle is highly accurate out of the box with heavier pellets. H+N Baracuda at 21.14 grain was producing sub 1 inch grouping at 30 meters. And, not scoped - I'm initially using a UTG circle-dot CQB sight. I know a lot of people complain about the straight top design and getting a good eye-sight height. Get creative folks! I took off the Weaver riser and mounted an AR style carry handle that accepts a pic rail on top. Plenty of height, and it was totally easy to sight in the red dot at 39 meters without needing any shims. The carry handle has a peep-hole sight, fully adjustable for windage and elevation. The rifle came with an Aria 3-9x40 scope, unexpectedly. I don't know about this glass, but ordered a UTG 4-16x44 scope, this rifle has the power to go to 50-75 meters easy. Using the power adjustment, I got the rifle generating 4ftlb on low, 18ftlb on medium, and 34ftlb on high power. Plenty of range for all distances and styles of shooting, hence my several sighting options.
