Just about everything. What a terrific rifle. Accurate beyond belief. Beautifully fit and finished. Functions so smoothly. Did I mention accurate?? It is also very consistent for velocity for a non regulated gun. The trigger is also a thing of joy. It is a very high quality rifle all the way around.
Things I would have changed:Just a few minor things. For the price it should come with two mags, and the barrel and the air chamber should match as far as finish. A set of factory installed sling swivel studs would also be nice. This last one is purely a matter of my own personal taste, but I would like to see a less pronounced edge on the cheeckpiece which would help reduce the chance of an accidental chip or gouge.
What others should know:Filled to the top at 200 bar, I get about 12-15 shots in before it reaches the sweet spot, and from there I am getting just about 4 mags, or 40 shots of consistent velocity before it starts dropping off slowly. A lot of guys seem to like the 18.19 JSB's, but mine definitely favors the 15.59 version over everything else, though most every pellet in my inventory (which is a pretty decent variety) shoots very well, and I shoot them all at max power as I bought it to hunt with it more than target shoot. This gun is pretty expensive for a majority of guys to buy, but trust me, if you can find a way to pay for it, you will not regret it. You definitely get what you pay for.

This rifle is very accurate.
Things I would have changed:The pressure control button is too loose. It could be clickable instead. It is very difficult to unlock the trigger. The magazine do not work with extra-heavy pellets.
What others should know:My S510 Air Arms came without the fill adapter! I wrote to Pyramid and Air Arms about this but they ignored it. I had to buy another adapter and was forced to pay US$ 75.00 for freight costs.

Too much. The rifle is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful walnut stock with nicely blued air cylinder. Very well balanced and light. This is going to make an excellent hunting pcp. The action is as smooth as butter and the Air Arms magazines work flawlessly. As far as accuracy, you would be hard pressed to find one more accurate. This rifle has a Lothar Walther barrel and it is exceptionally accurate. Pellet on pellet at 50 yards. The trigger is superb.
Things I would have changed:Quite honestly nothing. It is not an inexpensive air rifle. But the quality of finish, build and accuracy is worth the money.
What others should know:Owning an Air Arms S510 will make you want another Air Arms........it's that good.

Very happy with this purchase. Fit and finish are excellent. Balance is superb. Accuracy outstanding. Ease of use excellent. The rifle appears as it should be heavier than it actually is.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:This is my first PCP. I was a bit intimidated by the mechanics of the rifle. Reading the manual made all this fear vanish. I am very happy with the rifle.

Beautiful air rifle, the stock is beautiful the fit is perfect, blueing is first class, now for the gun functions flawlessly, accurate out of the box ( topped with Athlon 6x24x 50) 3/4 inch groups at 50 yds with no wind 1 1/2 at a 100 yds. in .22 cal. Quiet out of the box put a Donny FL Sumo on it but it really is back yard friendly with out it. Awesome gun!
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:You will love this gun, the trigger had a lot of travel until the second stag that I adjusted out right where I want it. Mags are a dream to load.

The regulator on this .25 caliber rifle is fabulous. My FX Chronograph showed only an 11 FPS variation across 40 shots of JSB Heavies, from a tank pressure of 230 BAR to 150 BAR. So the POI at 50 yards did not budge. Accuracy is top notch as well: 5/8th inch groups with the Heavies at 50 yards. Who can ask for more?
Things I would have changed:The take up on the trigger is a bit much, but when resistance is felt, it is positive and light. Different from the feel of other triggers (FX, HW, FWB) and really not a problem. After all, why do we buy different makes and models of air guns if not to provide a different experience?
What others should know:The walnut stock is very well done, fits me perfectly. And it is beautiful.

I like the traditional look to this fine rifle. The satin finish compliments the walnut and is far more resistant to scratching than the hi-gloss finish. The action is smooth and the trigger has a wide latitude for adjustment though I was happy with the factory setting. The mags are easy to load but must be inserted carefully. The rifle comes to shoulder easily and just looks so refined. Fit and finish is top grade. Looking for a good looking super accurate gun for field or range, look no further.
Things I would have changed:Mags could be priced less since they are plastic after all but so far they function fine. Perhaps factory installed sling studs.
What others should know:Read the manual on this one if you have not had an AA rifle before, especially the caution of inserting and removing mags

I love the classic look of rifle. Not some Star Wars looking rifle that seem to be popular today. Stock and bluing were top notch. Accurate right out of the box. Getting 60 shots at #2 highest setting.
Things I would have changed:Right side feeding of magazine so you could use a bigger side wheel on the parallax adjustment of your scope. It's not even close to a deal breaker. At a price of $1300 it should come with more than one magazine. At $50 the magazines are one of the most expensive in the market.
What others should know:Get extra magazines. They are expensive. It comes with one, but with so many shots per fill you don't have to stop shooting as often if you get a couple more. Some reviewers complain about an unfinished stock. It's finish is more of a matte than a gloss people are used to. Personally, I like the look. Do they really think Air Arms would ship an unfinished rifle!

Accuracy is outstanding. I have the older model that has a bolt. Unless I keep my thumb on the bolt it kicks up and loses some power which effects accuracy at long range. I want the new model for sure. If anyone knows the cure for this please post.
Things I would have changed:Bolt design. They did change it.
What others should know:Powerful and accurate. Many a chipmunk and rat has bit the dust with this rifle.

Ive owned this gun for almost 4 years already and its still as accurate as the day I bought it. I havent had a single issue with it yet so that really tells you a lot about the quality. Hunter everything with it from sparrow to large raccoons and it has taken all of them down with authority. Check me out at AirgunnerCA on YouTube to see how this gun has performed for me. Very very accurate, not really pellet fuzzy, power adjuster, and love mine in .22 walnut, a very beautiful as well durable stock. Make sure you invest in a nice scope it really deserves it. Thanks Pyramyd Air for providing me with an excellent gun!
Things I would have changed:Speaking with years of experience with it only a few things. Should have included sling studs, can get heavy in the field after awhile so its almost necessary. I mount some myself but others may get nervous if its their first time, its still very easy so dont worry. The dovetail is too short meaning you cant really mount the scope either more to the front or back just a few inches to play with. And lastly but not least the power adjuster, shouldve been clicks but its just a free floating knob. Tip: to secure the power knob to your liking remove the stock and theres a small screw underneath the knob that you tighten to secure it with a very small Allen key, dont tighten too much just enough where you cant physically turn the knob anymore.
What others should know:Lack of a regulator. Back when I bought it only a handful of guns had regulators so it wasnt much of a necessity. But now almost all have them within this price range. If thats what you absolutely need then this gun isnt for you. Still I get almost 30 shots at high power, which I rarely use. And I could still live without one, very accurate and very consistent without it. Play with the power adjuster and youll find your sweet spot. Mines between 170-135 bar but yours might vary.

I too have an S510 and anybody that writes a bad review is exaggerating things,I owned many rifles and to this day never seen anything like this beauty, can't missed a shot with it at less than 100 yards, sometimes it feels like if I'm cheating when shooting a dove or pigeon.Love AA.hopefuly they bring an even better one in the near future,I want to have another one. From Puerto Rico with love!

The accuracy of this rifle out of the box with JSB 18.13 Grains is mind boggling, shooting 60 shots in the same hole on different targets is as good as it gets. It’s hard to imagine that they can make something that accurate for such an affordable price, the manufactory in the UK needs to make money, the shipping oversees, the distributor needs to make money, the retailer needs to make money; nonetheless, barrel, trigger and balance of this Air rifle is superb.
Things I would have changed:An option for a better walnut stock would be nice, knots in the wood is a minus in contrast with the perfect machining and bluing. I would prefer that the air cylinder is in the same deep blue of the barrel and other parts; the shiny cylinder can spook game with the light reflection it projects.
What others should know:So, my S510 in .22 Cal came in yesterday afternoon, installed Leapers 30mm Rings, High, 3/8" Dovetail and scope UTG 30mm SWAT 3-12x44; box JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.13 Grains, Domed, 500ct. sighting-in the rifle at 40 Yards, 15 minutes and 10 shots later done. Buy this rifle, it's a steal!

This is the Most GORGEOUS air rifle that I have ever seen! The accuracy is insane! It's so accurate that sometimes I feel like I am cheating when shooting with a friend.. The target I shoot at 60 yards is so small that you can't see it without a scope. A little smaller than a Dime, I hit that most shoots ... I shoot Doves off a cross country power-lines at a laserd distance of 127 yards. I love this Air Arms Rifle so much I bought another in .22 cal. The first one in .25cal. So, witch one is more accurate? I think the .25cal might be more accurate because where I live the wind is always blowing.

I've had the rifle for a few days now. The rifle was a replacement for a 25 cal S510 I had a problem with. The other rifle was not very good. The replacement gave me renewed faith in Air Arms and Pyramyd. This rifle was great looking, and at 40yds. shoots with all four different types of pellets I had on hand, 5 shot groups all in one hole. Trigger is great, and so is the fit and finish. Excellent rifle for the money. Bill

My second Air Arms S510 gun. I bought the S510 Xtra Fancy Carbine .22 Thumb Hole stock and love it. I wanted the full rifle version so added this to my collection. Just as before the quality, accuracy, trigger, looks, wood, sound level, operation are all incredible. This gun's trigger actually seemed to be assembled a little better along with the power adjuster. My Carbine's power adjuster will move at the slightest touch, this one is more firm along with the safety on the trigger.

What others should know:I fitted this gun with the Hawke Sport Optics Sidewinder 30 8-32x56 AO Rifle Scope, Ill. 20x 1/2 Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 30mm Tube, mounted with BKL Single 30mm Triple and Double Strap Ring, 3/8" or 11mm Dovetail, 1.53" Long, Medium, Black mounts. Produces an extremely stable scope mount. The large 4" parallax/focus wheel can't be used since it interferes with loading the magazine so I use the optional 2" wheel. This arrangement has allowed me to place pellet size groups of 10+ at 20 and 30 yards and dime size at 50 yards. The gun really likes the JSB Jumbo Heavy Diabolo 18.13 gr pellet although is shoots others very well too. Rabbit population has been decreasing lately.

I like the rifle, but after all the Hype about fit, finish and accuracy I was disappointed. I went for the walnut stock. The stock had a big knot in it, I mean big, and porous. Pyramyd said no problem they would exchange it, but at the price I can't help but be a little disappointed . Accuracy is good it you use AA pellet but any other 25 cal. pellets shoots like buck shot.
Things I would have changed:Inspection of rifle before shipping, and detent on power knob.

This is a beautiful rifle, the action is silky smooth and it's very accurate. The walnut stock looks like it belongs on a much more expensive rifle and really brings extra value to this air gun. Mine is extremely accurate shooting AA 16 grain pellets an will shoot dime sized groups at 40 yards.
What others should know:I purchased this as a refurbished air gun, but it looks and functions as if it were brand new! Not a mark on it anywhere. This is the type of rifle you purchase to become a family heirloom to pass on from generation to generation.
