    Things I liked:

I received this rifle several weeks ago. It is 177 caliber. I also own it in 22 caliber. At first I have to say that I was a little disappointed with accuracy. It would shoot a nice 5 shot group that was 5/16 oto first five shots. Next five shots would open up to 3/4 oto. Next five shots 15/16. I began shooting 10 shots and cleaning. Then I began shooting 20 shots and cleaning. After doing this for about four hundred shots , it is now very accurate. I now shoot matches at 50 yds.. The barrel simply needed to be shot in to get accurate. It seems to like aa field diabolo heavy 10.3 pellets best. I have videos on youtube of me shooting matchsticks at 50 yds. Also videos cutting cards at 25 yds.. I believe this is probably the best spring piston air rifle there is. Got the 22 with beech stock. 177 has walnut stock. Walnut stock seems a little lighter. Love both stocks. Very quite and neighborhood friendly. I am sure both will be passed down to my great grandkids.

    Things I would have changed:

I would absolutely love to have this rifle with iron sights. Preferably peep rear sights with interchangeable globe front sights. I would order another today if available.

    What others should know:

I shoot my airguns way more than my rimfires. Do not waste your money on cheap air guns only to be disappointed and wind up buying another cheap gun. Buy a TX200 and be done with it. It will be cheaper in the long run.

    Things I liked:

I suck with springer airguns. Not with this baby! This thing is as accurate as a laser. 20 yards was hole in hole accuracy like a laser. Astonishing...left me speechless.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!!!

    What others should know:

Don't waste your money messing about with cheap "Walmart" springers. You buy this gun and your buying a solid hand- me down rifle capable of out preforming pcp accuracy out to 50 yards. It shoots tigher groups than my FX Crown!

    Things I liked:

Very beautiful gun. After I put the CP 6-24x50 scope on it, in three shots I already put a pellet right in the bullseye. And more 10 shots, the group is small as a dime at about 20 yards. Very accurate, cocking is smooth, beautiful stock and quiet. I am very happy to have this gun. Love it. Thank you PA for sending me this gun in a great condition and fast.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I just want to say this is a great and beautiful gun. I wish one day, I will have a better scope for this under level beautiful airgun. I recommend it.

    Things I liked:

I just received today my TX200 MkIII. I live in Ecuador (Yes, I know, far away) I already have a RWS 350 Magnum, it's a beauty, but the TX200MkIII is from another planet. Without a doubt, the best air rifle I have ever had and possibly in the world. I have it in walnut wood .22 caliber, it's a beauty, only who has it in their hands can attest to how great this rifle is. I have to confess something. In my country (Ecuador), the Correa Government (2007-2017) put ridiculous taxes on many imported items, obviously air rifles are no exception. I had to pay about $ 1,300 dollars to have the TX200MkIII in my hands (Yes I paid a lot of taxes in my country), but I do not regret buying it, this rifle is a work of art, it is worth every penny that I invested in it, it is a dream come true to have it.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be great to have the golden trigger of the Pro Sport on the TX200 ... maybe I buy it and change it on my TX200.

    What others should know:

If you are really passionate about air rifles, you must have the TX200MkIII. It is expensive, yes, but worth every penny, I hope to give it to a son or grandson in the future, it is one of those weapons that are made to last for decades.

    Things I liked:

Great customer service from Pyramid Air. I screwed up my order on a scope mount. Greg at Pyramid Air caught the error, delayed shipping and notified me. Error corrected, rifle shipped and still received on time. After rifle zeroed in at 25 yds. I was able to shoot 5 JSB Exact Heavy into a one hole group from a bench rest. Have not been able to do that since but I blame myself not the scope or rifle. Both take getting used to and I have shot less than 100 rds. through this gun. Groups so far are consistently less than a quarter with some less than a dime. Trigger was originally set too light right out of the box. First three rounds just touching the trigger and it would fire. Instructions for adjusting trigger could be made more clear. Had to use the internet to clarify trigger adjustment. Great trigger when adjusted properly.

    Things I would have changed:

Better instructions on how to adjust trigger.

    What others should know:

TX200 MK III is heavy, weighing in at 10-11 lbs with scope. Not a rifle I would like to carry around in the woods hunting. As I am a plinker and paper puncher the weight is not a problem. Works perfectly for what I enjoy doing. Be extremely careful when first firing as mine had what could best be described as a hair trigger right out of the box. Zero first stage.

    Things I liked:

Beautifull air rifle. Beats all expections, Accurate as claimed. The most relevant and appreciated factor in the whole deal with PA is the offer to take back the rifle and charge a 're-stocking fee'.

    Things I would have changed:

Having large hands, the loading of a pellet into the chamber is annoyingly difficult [even after my altering a hemostat nose to a right angle AND machining a brass pellet seater to hold the pellet by its skirt, it is still not fun...and cannot know if those tools damage skirts; I will order a PCP as soon as I get up to snuff on the factors that attend owning a PCP..[am learning a lot from blogs]..Cannot decide if I want composite & 'marine' or Walnut & blue; full stock or Bullpuppy [ I build a lot of Bullpuppie firearms].....

    What others should know:

Getting up on the learning curve BEFORE buying an item can eliminate a lot of bad purchases.....Justsayin.

    Things I liked:

I had wanted a .22 cal. for some time and recently purchased a TX200 MIII. I appreciate a good airgun and this is one. I did finally convince myself I needed it since I have a 30 plus years old HW77 in .177 that I recently rebuilt with a Vortek kit (shoots very smoothly). However, I wanted the .22 for hunting and pest control, and I'm getting older so I treated myself. I looked at the HW97 and Diana 52 but the reviews on this gun were excellent and it appears easy to work on. The TX200 is a beautiful gun. The finish is excellent and t problem, but he stock is well made. It is incredibly accurate. I got the walnut stock which I think is worth it. It is heavy but the balance is nicer than my HW77.

    Things I would have changed:

I ordered some H and N field target trophy pellets in .22 having seen they get good reviews for this gun. It is true. They are very accurate, consistent, and are a good weigh with not much drop for my shooting ranges. I got the 5.55 mm diameter. I am not sure if pellets can be made to this type of tolerance, but these are a bit too tight when putting them in the barrel. I can seat them with finger pressure so no problem. I will try the 5.53 FTTs on my next pellet purchase. I also now have the inevitable O ring on the cocking arm. Not a problem.

    What others should know:

I did do some things for my needs. I add them since I like to read how others have done things. I carry the gun in the woods and since it is heavy I like a sling. The Uncle Mike's split band swivel (item 1051-2, described as fitting the 1894C carbine) works great on this as it does on my HW77. Attach it low on the cocking arm to reduce leverage, meaning near the stock. Mine is 1 1/4 inch from the wood. The walnut stock is either not finished or finished very lightly. It is sanded well. I wanted more protection. I like a not glossy oil finish. For more protection and a faster buildup I used an oil/varnish finish; 1/3 boiled linseed oil, 1/3 varnish, 1/3 thinner (mineral spirits). Apply like oil - apply, let set for a short time, wipe off. Let dry overnight and rub down with a fine abrasive between coats. I used a 3M grey pad (equivalent to 4/0 steel wool.

    Things I liked:

After years of considering buying a TX200 I finally did it and am so happy with I did. Mine is a 177 with walnut stock. I thought my RWS guns were high quality until I received the TX200 but it is a level above them. The stock is beautiful and as everyone says the bluing is superb. I topped it with a UTG 3-12X bug buster scope and it has been producing 1/4" groups at 20 yards. I feel the trigger is better than the T05 in my RWS 460 which is a good trigger. cocking takes some effort but the firing action is smooth. I wish I had started with this air rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The underlever detent requires some effort to break loose so a front release button would be nice. Also a slot in the bottom of the receiver cylinder to allow a pellet dropped into the action while loading to fall through like that found on the Pro sport model would be a benefit.

    What others should know:

This is a large heavy air rifle but it seems to be extremely well made.

    Things I liked:

If you haven't seen one of these for yourself, it is unbelievable. The fit and finish of this gun are superb. The bluing is mirror finish and the walnut is beautiful. I purchased a HW97K from Pyramid and it is only slightly heavier than the TX. The TX however is much better balanced. I still love my 97K, but...

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, absolutely nothing. This is an heirloom gun well worth the money.

    What others should know:

I base my accuracy rating on the videos I have seen. I only just received this gun. I'll revise this review when I've dialed it in.

    Things I liked:

I have very little experience with Air Rifles. In ignorance I bought a Gamo .22 high velocity rifle that came with a scope... very poor purchase. PyramydAir steered me to this Air Arms TX200 MkIII and it is FABULOUS! Accuracy is superb. Even better is the Customer Support. I had an issue with the rifle initially and Customer Support resolved the problem immediately, satisfactorily and with courtesy. The rifle is beautifully built and the bluing is as good or better than on my firearms. The action is smooth, reliable and easy to cock and shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

Interestingly enough there is one thing I would change. The 11mm rails built into the receiver are barely cut deep enough, so you have to be really careful mounting a scope so that it engages the grooves fully. It's not a problem if you take care doing it, but I still think the grooves should be cut deeper by the manufacturer. Otherwise for a novice like me the rifle is perfect and I would expect experienced shooters to say the same... clearly a competition grade rifle.

    Things I liked:

What a work of art this rifle is! Although I'm new to airguns, although I'm a lifelong powder burner, I gotta tell ya that this gun is simply a bargain for what you get! Within four ten shot groups, I shot a cloverleaf at fifteen yards. I angsted over how to scope it, but I went with old reliable...a new Hammers 3-9X40 AO...although this one had a 40mm objective rather than the 32mm I've bought several of. Ultimately, I'll get a Hawke Airmax or Leapers scope, but there's nothing wrong with this one. I've put over a thousand rounds thru it, it just keeps getting better.

    Things I would have changed:

Not too much, if anything. Mine's a .22, so handling pellets is easier, but I'll agree that sometimes, getting pellets into the breech can be...mmm...challenging! Because of reports of rust and other detritus in new barrels, I gave mine a good cleaning before shooting anything thru it. The little rubber button used to cushion the cocking lever from the barrel is a bit cheesy, and while cocking it one day, my thumbnail hooked it, and it's not as secure as it was at first, but it's hanging in there so far. If it comes off, I'll use the usual O-ring installation. No biggie, actually.

    What others should know:

First, Pyramyd Air did me a REAL solid when I bought this rifle...I won't specify what that is because I don't know if they would make a habit out of it, but I will sing PA's praises, and I will tell you that I'm now a faithful PA customer...the only way I'll go to another vendor would be if PA didn't stock a particular item I wanted, or if their price was out of line. Businesses hope to gain and retain customers with stellar customer service, and I don't know of a better company that does that than Pyramyd Air! Thanks, folks! Now then...if you're looking for the best of the best...this is the one. Having said that, a HW97 is in my future, since it looks like that's pretty much the only rifle in the TX200's league at the moment. And I'm basing that decision upon the shooting experience, I haven't seen anything yet that tells me that the fit and finish is anything like the TX's. All in all, an outstanding rifle from an outstanding vendor! I couldn't be more glee-stricken!!!

Opening of the breach could be bigger.

    What others should know:

This gun has a history of trouble with the automatic safety .I had this problem with two of these guns and decided to get my money back.I also have the Weiharuch KT 97 which is just as accurate and zero problems.

    Things I liked:

Overall appearance and workmanship are very nice. Cocking effort is easier than I expected. Trigger is pull excellent. Very pleased that I bought this air rifle. I have found no imperfection at all.

    Things I would have changed:

A little more clearance of the cocking lever where it touches the barrel when in the latched position. I noticed that after about 500 shots the lever seemed to be binding on something and not securely being latched by the ball detente. I put India ink on the two "ribs" under side of the cocking lever where it lays against barrel and found it was touching the barrel not allowing the cocking arm to completely latch. I used a file to remove some of the material on the cocking lever ribs and now the cocking lever latches like it did when I first started shooting. I may have bent the lever by over cocking. Nothing dangerous I just wanted the lever to be able to push in passed the detente far enough to touch the barrel. Ensuring the lever was locked.

    What others should know:

I've been shooting a RWS 54 I bought used and installed a tune kit. This rifle will out shoot the 54 right out of the box hands down. The statement I made about the cocking lever should not preclude you from purchasing this rifle. It was something I did I'm sure and not a default of the rifle.

Just an overall beautiful rifle. Extremely accurate at 40 feet. I haven't had a chance to shoot any further as of yet but just know this rifle is going to perform. I easily stacked pellets at 40 feet.

    Things I would have changed:

Absolutely nothing. Rifle is worth every penny.

    What others should know:

As you've already read, this rifle is quite heavy. But I see this as nothing more than a testament to how well it's made. Real wood and steel can never be beat.

beautiful design. the rifle pulls up and hangs well, very accurate shot after shot.I dialed it in as quick as possible because I wanted to start shooting varmits with the Leapers UTG scope and in 5 minutes I was hitting quarters at 25 yds. Gun is heavy but not bulky. Blueing is high quality.

    Things I liked:

When i opened the box and saw it i knew it was quality from when i first looked at it. I picked it up its not as heavy as some say, Im a man and i think some people need to sit down their purse before handling. Its beautiful the fit finish attention to detail is awesome. The bluing is comparable to my Browning Hipower very deep rich and highly polished. The cocking action is fluid and smooth although it does have some slack side to side and up and down when cocked. The stock is very clean and nicely done and cheekpiece is a perfect height. I fitted it with a set of BKL double strap 1" mounts and a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40. The first few shots I took off of bags at 28 yards, 2.5" ish spread with Crosman Premier 14.3 grain in .22 caliber. I wasnt to happy with the grouping, now after maybe 500 rounds this thing is a sick tack driver from 35 yards easily stacking round after round! This rifle is hands down the most accurate spring air rifle i have ever shot once broken in!

    Things I would have changed:

Stainless steel option would be gorgeous, sign me up!! Tighter tolerances on cocking mechanism. Deeper grooves for scope mounting, or picatinny rail. Knurled cocking grip. Option for no inlays on stock or selectable patten. Higher power output, selectable power output while retaining accurancy. Carbon fiber barrel option.

    What others should know:

Break it in a few hundred rounds at first it seems it shoot sparatic i was dissapointed with the grouping. After a 500 or so it shot excellent!! Buy alot of pellets as you will burn through them as this is a sweet shooter!
