    Things I liked:

Fully adjustable. Hammer spring and regulator can be set for high power or high shot count. Set my reg 2200 and turned hammer spring out 1.5 turns from full in. Shooting like a dream. 60 shots from 4100 to 2000 PSI.Seems to be hitting hard and accurate. Tried 6 different pellets, all inside a nickle at 12 yards with a crappy scope.

    Things I would have changed:

    NOTHING

    What others should know:

Probably to get best results you need a chrony, my next purchase.

accurate, inexpensive what's not to like. only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is the stock same as everyone says.

    Things I would have changed:

stock although I think it is more a weight distribution thing

    What others should know:

I also purchased the air venturi g9 air pump, I am 51 out of shape and right leg is in a cast. Still wasn't that bad to pump rifle to 300 bar

    Things I liked:

The Avenger is what I expected based on the reviews I read, an inexpensive entry into PCP air gunning. Tuning is a breeze and remarkable accuracy is possible even with $5 Walmart pellets and an "eco" tune. The trigger is great.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock is so light and narrow that it is difficult to hold steady without sandbags. Bi-pods helped a little but even these are wobbly. Removing the barrel shroud for cleaning may change point of impact.

    What others should know:

    I'd buy another one.

    Things I liked:

.22cal model. Extremely accurate and efficient. I have been shooting air gun for several decades and, while I was kind of expecting good result following the initial reviews of this gun, its performance nevertheless left me in awe. The rifle efficiency is incredible. With the regulator set at 1,800psi and minimum hammer spring, JSB Jumbo and Hades 15.89 MV is just short of 890fps with a superb accuracy. I have hit regularly, to my great surprise, 2inch targets at 107yds! And that goes on for 70-80 good shots! JSB Jumbo Heavy (18.13) go at 900fps with the regulator at 2,000psi and minimum hammer spring are very accurate (3/4 inch regularly at 50yd). I have yet to try slugs in it. Its very light weight, while critized by some as a mark of "inferior" workmanship, is a god send to people like me still wanting to take a rifle into the woods but not young anymore. With a 30mm 4-16x50 scope on it and a small 9" carbon fiber bipod, it still weighs less than a bare Marauder...

    Things I would have changed:

Far (very!) superior in most aspects to air rifles in sub-$1,200 range. The only thing which isn't up to par to 4x priced rifles is the trigger. While extremely good for the price, it is not as crisp as an FX or Air Arms. It is adjustable, but within limits.

    What others should know:

All in all, this is the best air rifle $300 can buy, and by far.

    Things I liked:

So far, everything. This is my first PCP airgun. With the right set up and pellet, it is a tack driver. Getting 40 good shots from 4300 psi down to 2800 psi with current tune, and I might leave it there. I'm not concerned with high shot count, just accuracy and power. 4 mags in a day of squirrel hunting is one hella day of hunting. Plus, I have my electric compressor on my shooting bench so refill is quick and easy when plinking and target shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing as of yet. Might try my hand at making a wood stock for it. I have the Walnut for it.

    What others should know:

Got this in .22 caliber. Let's just say this thing is stupid accurate as long as you do your part. IE..your technique is consistent, proper tune, the right pellet. Out of the box, almost every pellet I ran through it at 25 yards was accurate. This at 2400 psi regulator and 2 turns on hammer spring. Was playing with slugs at 50 yds. Had regulator up to 2800 psi and 3 turns on spring at the time. So far slugs were so so with those settings. Had some H&N Barracuda Match 21.14 grain, 5.52 head with me and loaded up 5 of them. My technique must have been perfect at that moment. Placed all 5 pellets in a hole barely bigger than the hole the first pellet made. Will stretch this out to 75 and 100 yards after Christmas. If these pellets perform this well at longer range, setting and pellet for my gun is set. Also, with this setting and pellet, zero at 25 yds, was only 1/4 low at 50 yds. This is my new goto squirrel gun :). Also it shot most JSB's well at 50 yds. But nothing like the Barracuda's

    Things I liked:

This pcp rifle is loaded with many features found on higher priced rifles. Side cocking lever which is very smooth, adjustable regulator, two gauges one for air fill and the other for regulator setting. Comes with single tray shot and two ten shot clips. Very accurate, some far I have put a couple of hundred shots through it and very happy with the rifle. Can be adjustable for max power or max shots or in between these two settings. I got the .22 caliber and I'm using JSB exact jumbo heavy diabolo pellets 18.13 gr. Maximum fill is 4350 psi which I couldn't reach because I only had a hand pump at the time and the gun works great on 3000 psi as well, not as many shots but still shoots great, I now have a pump that will get me to the max psi

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really, yes we all know the stock is synthetic(plastic} but I have other pcps with synthetic and I think they are great.

    What others should know:

There is a wealth of information on you tube about this rifle which can be very helpful, check the sites out you'll be happy with your findings. When I ordered the rifle they were out of stock finally got the rifle in Nov. it was well worth the wait.

    Things I liked:

The price is right. The weight is light. If it works, the features offer alot of potential. IF IT WORKS....

    Things I would have changed:

My .25 was empty of air when I took it from the box. I filled it and it leaked down slowly. Verified the bleed screw was tight and it leaked again. I sent it back and Pyramid was fine on the customer service end, so far. Now, I have to wait for the next one. Hopefully it will work. The stock has a hollow gourd sound and the forearm creaks if you squeeze it tightly. A little spray foam after removing the butt plate should diminish the the hollow sound. The stock is slick and slides easily in the hand which could lead to a drop. A little skate board grip tape should resolve this after the warranty expires.

    What others should know:

Be careful unpacking it, and save the outer box so you can easily return it. Fill it and let it sit as soon as you get it. That way, upon discovering it leaks, you can send it right back. Check it over thoroughly. I intend to do this until I get one that works like it is supposed to work.

    Things I liked:

Easily adjustable regulator and hammer spring. Very accurate. High shot count. Not pellet picky. (1 star rating for the .22 cal avenger. My .25 cal avenger is 5 stars all the way)

    Things I would have changed:

Better Quality Control. More accurate air pressure gauges for both reservoir pressure and regulator pressure. An allen wrench for both degassing and hammer spring should be included.

    What others should know:

My first avenger in .25 cal was nearly perfect. No problems or issues....... My second avenger in .22 cal was a big headache. Action was stiff to cycle. Bolt probe O rings were chewed up by cycling action only 3 times. Single shot tray would not seat properly, causing O rings to shred when bolt was cycled. Reservoir pressure gauge was off by 200 to 500 psi at different points of pressure during fill. Regulator pressure gauge would not maintain a steady reading. Varied wildly from shot to shot. And finally, the reason I sent it back for an exchange, it would not hold pressure. Filled reservoir to 4300 psi. After less than 72 hours the pressure had gone down to 2900 psi. Pyramyd Air issued an RMA # right away.

Make it not leak. I filled this up by hand-pumping on Friday and left for the weekend. Now on Monday I see that it is completely empty. Really obnoxious considering that it is brand new, unfired, and all the effort it took to pressurize it by hand!

    What others should know:

This gun produces a lot more foot pounds than listed, I'm get 56fpe with a 41 grain slug at 785fps. The reg. is set at 2600 psi. with more room left on the hammer spring!!

    Things I liked:

Wow, there is so much, I don't know were to start. The accuracy at 50 yards with a stock tune is pellet on pellet using 35gn JSB's. The trigger adjustment is enough to make a crisp two stage trigger. The power is amazing. With the regulator set as received, I filled it up to 4000 psi and almost punched through a 1/8 aluminum plate at 25 yards with a 25gn JSB pellet. I have not seen any regulator creep since I have been using it. I was all set to take this rifle apart and tune it and I just don't see needing to at this point. When it gets warmer, I will set up the chrony and tune for a couple of magazines at high power as I plan to use this for pest removal rather than paper punching. I got some slugs from AVS and the 36gn concave base seems to be as accurate as the JSB pellet but it punches harder. I also put a internal moderator that I found on Ebay. This .25 is not real loud but the moderator does make it nice and quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

As others have said, the stock is pretty hollow feeling (since it is hollow ha ha). I think it would feel better if it was filled with foam which probably wouldn't be a big deal while it was being manufactured.

    What others should know:

The side lever is just fantastic. I wish every air rifle I owned had one. Even with my 70 YO arthritic fingers, it is a breeze to cock.

    Things I liked:

It is easy to cock with side lever, accurate and very good shot count. I get fifty shots on a charge out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

Fill the stock with sound reducing material. It sounds hollow but with foam rubber inserted its good.

    What others should know:

If you are only going to buy only one air gun the Avenger should be it. I have nine air rifles. Three are Benjamin Marauder's two are Umarex one is a Beeman and one avenger all PCPs. All of them are accurate. I could have bought six avengers for the price of the three marauder's. For my shooting fifty or 100 yards all are great but I like the Avenger the best. The Beeman leaks I sent the first one back. The second leaks 1000 psi in a week. My two Umarex are great also but a bit harder to cock they are my second choice. I got my .177 for $180 on sale. In my opinion the avenger is best. My other rifles are Benjamin break barrels PCPs are the way to go.

    Things I liked:

The power, and it can be adjusted to shoot well over 900 FPS. The accuracy, 50 yrds using 18 grains gets me hole in hole. I shoot slugs 25 grains and get the same results @ 825 FPS.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like it in a 30 cal with the same power. (AND PRICE) I would like (and this is just me), a set up like the FX crown continums where you could adjust the power levels also, which I'm guessing Air Venturi is in the process of doing.

    What others should know:

I have both the 22 and 25 cal and I will just say order plenty of pellets and slugs because these guns are hard to put down and so much fun adjusting them to different power levels without removing the stocks. They advertise 900 FPS, in both calibers, YOU WILL BE PLEASANTLY SUPRISE AND HAPPY WITH THE POWER THESE GUNS ACTUALLY PRODUCE. Maybe I got lucky but my 25 will shoot 1000 FPS but I have it adjusted to 900-905 FPS using 28 grains pellets. The 22 cal will get over 1000 FPS with the spring turned in 3.75 turns. Both regs set @ 2400. Yes I would recommend to a friend.

    Things I liked:

It’s all been said before. A breakthrough air gun at an amazing price. But has some issues

    Things I would have changed:

Magazins absolutely suck! Spring tension is poor and is totally in adequate to move heavy pellets. Most of us it figured out that we have to go by Benjamin marauder Armada m agazines . They have plenty of spring strength. Additionally you cant even take these crummy magazines provided apart and reposition the springs for more tension as there is only one adjustment hole. So you end up with a great gun and a crap magazine the jams. Do your rself a favor and order those marauder magazines ahead of time.

    What others should know:

If this is your first PCP youre making a good move. It is the best PCP for the price point. You will learn more about regulators ,hammer strength and the ability to adjust for pallet weight and distance faster by purchasing this air gun than anything on the market today. No tearing it apart to get to the hammer spring for making adjustments. It is right there and easy to adjust. . The real question with this is what is its longevity. How long will it continue to Function at the level it does upon initial purchase. As of this point I , and many of my friends who have purchased this airgun are very happy with it. Except For the mentioned magazines being terrible this is an amazing air rifle
