    Things I liked:

This rifle has a tremendous amount of features for the price. I havent had it long enough to get it sited in yet. I am impressed with the number of shots per fill. I got 60 with the 22 cal and factory settings and it still wasn’t below the regulator.

    Things I would have changed:

As others have noted the stock is thin plastic and makes a lot of noise when something comes into contact with it. But this should be an easy home fix. The side lever action is quite rough/ gritty. Hopefully it will smooth out with use.

    What others should know:

Some of the bolts were loose on arrival, so be sure to check them when you get yours.

    Things I liked:

Accurate. Light, good trigger, adjustable. Fantastic gun regardless of the money, quiet with a LDC/moderator, has external adjustable reg , accurate and I mean "Wolf" accurate and yes I own a Wolf, start by cleaning the barrel (ballistol) , watch Steve's video on YouTube or AEAC for tuning tips, I shoot dimes at 40 yds with 18.1 grain pellets, I added sound deadening material to the butt stock and fore end (Dynamat or Black Hole car audio material) it adds weight as this gun is front heavy, I also painted the stock with Plasti-Dip paint to give it a "grippy" feel, I fill to 3500, but you can go to 4300psi if you want, mine is .22 cal, I adjusted hammer spring in 5.5 turns from all the way out for around 35 FPE with stock reg pressure with 18.1 pellets, same gun as the Nova Liberty Vista but upgraded, air venture just added their name, be careful when taking off fore end-(don't loose plastic bushing) watch Air Velocity Sport video for disassembly and also Hard Air Magazine article.

    Things I would have changed:

Wood stock, weight in butt stock for balance.

    What others should know:

Add weight to butt stock to balance gun, clean barrel, watch tuning videos at AEAC and Air Velocity Sport and Steve Archers article on Hard Air Magazine.

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

Everything, so far. Got it in .25 for greater ease in handling pellets. I put on a Hawke 3-9AO, and that seems like a good fit so far. Zeroed at 7m at the range - took 40+ clicks to bring it up to the black, then repeated at 25, all shots touching. Now I can use my 10m target in basement and really get used to her, while the snow flies. At low power it is very quiet. Hand pumping slows you down, but gives you some exercise and even I -pushing 80 - can get it to velocity I need.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much. I favour wood stocks, but appreciate the light weight of the synthetic. Possibly have someone at PA run a Ballistoled patch through before shipping. Lots of junk in the barrel.

    What others should know:

This is my first PCP (and air gun since I was a kid) and I am very pleased, both with the Avenger itself and with interaction with PA support during my 3 month wait. 300 bucks ain't cheap to me, but so far I am very pleased, both with accuracy and "pumpability". Great fun and good training!

    Things I liked:

Accuracy and power are excellent. I bought this solely for the purpose of removing a rodent problem that I have. Got to try it out for the 1st time today and it delivered paired with a DonnyFL koi this thing is a backyard beast. Squirrels, rats and raccoons beware!!!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Wish the instructions where a bit more detailed but that just might be me. Also though the stock seems sturdy enough wish it didn't have that hollow cheesy crosman feel.

    What others should know:

If you decide to get the adapter and moderator from donny remove the shroud and use a little thread ease with gentle heat to thread the adapter on. The shroud threads aren't completely clean but use some caution and common sense when doing so.

    Things I liked:

Its accurate right out of the box. Light weight even with Harris bi-pod, 56mm objective scope, and a suppressor. The adjustability of regulator pressure, trigger and hammer spring make tuning this rifle to your needs quick and fun. I expect to really enjoy this rifle long term. At this price point, which allowed me to get into the pcp market, I would challenge you to show me a better value. You get accuracy and can still afford the accessories that you will need to get the most out of the rifle and yourself! I researched this out to the fullest I could, and when it arrived and I put it and the accessories together the Avenger did not disappoint!

    Things I would have changed:

    For $299.99........not a thing!

    What others should know:

When I saw reviews on this rifle I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. I took this thing out of the box, mounted a cheap scope on it and within half the mag, was zeroed @ 25yds, finished the mag, sat back and laughed. Loaded the mag and handed it to my wife, she was smiling at the end of her shot group. Don't complain about the plastic stock, get over it! Its a $300 rifle. Its a tack driver and better than most shooters can hold it. The trigger is a metal trigger 2 stage type that once your at second stage breaks crisp and clean. After living with it for a couple months and changing scopes and pushing out to 50yds, its a blast to shoot and still as consistent as when it came out of the box. If you intend to fill to max press, you can do it with a hand pump as I did, but it takes the fun out of it. Save for a electric pump for max Joy!

    Things I liked:

A steal deal for a tunable air rifle. I like the trigger, the cocking mechanism, and the regulator.

    Things I would have changed:

    - The two cylindrical pieces of plastic attached on the barrel to hold the shroud in place should be replaced with more durable ones. - The barrel band should be designed differently so that the screws are not digging into the air tube and barrel shroud; a clamping type barrel band would be better in my opinion, but I prefer the barrel band to allow the shroud to free float (see my next comments for the reason). I'm sure these concepts will not add to the original cost.

    What others should know:

The point of impact (POI) changes with changing temperature. You can try it yourself by shooting two groups at two different temperatures. I compared a 5-shots group at ambient temperature (80 degree F) with a 5-shots group after letting the rifle rest in my refrigerator (40 degree F) for ten minutes; the second group shifted down by 1 inch. I verified this result with a couple more runs. My solution: I took off the barrel band and perform the refrigerator test mentioned previously. The POI no longer shift with changing temperature. I'm not positive on why this solved the POI shift problem; I think it might be due to the stiffening (at lower temperature) of the O-rings on the two cylindrical plastic pieces attached on the barrel to hold the shroud; with the barrel band off, the force from the shroud around these O-rings are more uniform.

    Things I liked:

Its a nice lite rifle. I liked all the adjustments that it had and the power that it has. I got it in the 25 cal.

    Things I would have changed:

Need better quality control. I got the rifle and pumped it up to about 3200pis, the next day, all of it leaked out.

    What others should know:

Pyramydy air toke care of it for me but I have to wait for the back order to come in.

    Things I liked:

My .25 caliber is ACCURATE! I cleaned the barrel and put on a scope. After sighting it in, I shot at a 1" heavy steel disk hanging by strong wire on a tree, about 50 yards distance. The big pellet hit the disk, tore the wire from the tree, and I can't find my disk! Groundhogs, beware. The gun is light and will be easy to carry on a hunt. The forearm is fat, so I'll be using a sling.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock is hollow and sounds hollow. The plastic forearm surrounding the air chamber could have been slimmer. The report is a bit louder than I would like.

    What others should know:

I didn't know it was made in China. Their unfair trade practices and Covid have negatively impacted America. I'm happy I have an electric air pump because it would take a lot of hand-pumping. I have two air rifles made in Germany and they are beautiful guns. The Avenger is rather homely.

I don't like the front lower mount it hurts my hand if I grab it the wrong way

    What others should know:

After you get it sighted in and put away for a few days the first shot is off the second shot is right on again. So if you want to shoot a squirrel at more then 30 yards no good. I have the same problem with the Fortitude so I think this the weak link withe regulated guns. My cz 200 can lay for months and still be dead on same goes for the Huntsman and Marauda.

    What others should know:

Mine leaked right out of the box even though I paid for the 10 shot for $10 to make sure l didn't get a lemon, go figure. I placed my order on 8/8 and still waiting for a replacement. My father ordered one also and his wouldn't hold pressure overnight so he's still waiting for his replacement also. I'll edit this review when I can actually review the performance but so far the quality and Pyramyd has been a disappointment.

    Things I liked:

So far, the rifle is better than I am. Thought using a scope would be great, which it is, but it does not take much mis-alignment to have the POI be way off: physics. The rifle for the money is a great deal. Some negatively comment on the plastic stock, but a wood one would add a bunch more money. For a price point entry level rifle, this is acceptable. There may be after market wood stocks available later, if one might want one. For what this rifle offers in actual features, you would have to spend a lot more money. As I said, this rifle is better than I am and am pleased with its performance. Now, I have to learn to shoot better with a scope. Still a whole lot better than open sights. How good does this rifle shoot? My average shooting places 10 shots very close to the bull's eye and in a circle about smaller than half the size of a dime. When I am doing good, I can place 2 - 4 shots almost through the same hole and dead in the bulls eye. This is at 35 foot range.

    Things I would have changed:

So far nothing. Maybe offer a wood stock for those wanting one. This rifle is for sure a keeper.

    What others should know:

    No.

No kidding, has to be one of the best deals out there. Just as advertised. Shoots well. Shoots accurate. Easy!

    Things I would have changed:

Even though the side lever is smooth to operate. When the pellet gets to the breach. There is a little resistance. Depending on pellets it changes. Sometimes it is like the pellet catches. More effort is required to seat the pellet. This should be noted. Nothing in documents about this at all.

    What others should know:

Don't try skenco goldenrod pellets. Bad choice. Got stuck! Would not shoot.

    Things I liked:

The gun is light weight and well balanced. The trigger pull although not as light as other reviewers stated ,mine came in at 2 lb 5 oz and i was not able to adjust it down any more. There is just a little creep in the trigger once it hits the second stage . Accuracy is stellar using the JSB MATCH DIABLO IN 18.13 gr . I can consistently shoot 10 shot groups the size of a nickel @ 50 yards. This was achieved with the regulator set to 2400 psi . That's another thing i like about the Air venturi avenger it has a fill pressure and a regulator pressure gauge which is adjustable without taking it out of the stock as is the hammer spring spring screw.

    Things I would have changed:

This gun has a cheap plastic stock on it that is noisy when bumped against something. This gun is deserving of a fine laminated stock such as Boyds stocks make. If anyone knows were a person can get a laminated stock for it a heads up would be appreciated.

    What others should know:

If you are thinking of buying an Air venturi avenger, you will not go wrong . Simply put it is the best gun in the $300 range and i believe it may even out shoot some guns costing much more .

I spent an afternoon getting it sighted in, and was pleased of the group sizes I managed to shoot. My previous experience with air guns was a springer and I couldn't get it to shoot groups less than 4" at 10 yards. I almost gave up on air guns. This one is excellent.
