I got this air rifle a little over a month ago and I've shot it well over 1000 times. I use it just about everyday for mostly plinking, but I have also used it to shoot a few birds from 15 to 25 yards out with no issues whatsoever. Pros: - The design is very ergonomic for hand placement and for the overall feel. - Fantastic accuracy within 10-40 yards (maybe even 50 yards if you're a sharpshooter) - All metal construction with an amazing sidelever. - I love how easy it is to adjust the power from the hammer spring. - Relatively quiet even at full power, although it comes with a 1/2x20 UNF adapter in case you want to put a moderator on there. I personally recommend putting a .30 caliber size as I have experienced clipping from time to time using a .25 caliber moderator. - The trigger is surprisingly amazing straight out of the box, but also offers a lot of flexibility if you want to adjust it. It's a single stage trigger, but you'll find that it actually acts more like a two stage trigger-- its smooth. - The stock is very durable, unlike other cheap feeling plastic molds you might get from other PCP's at this price point. - The price and quality of this air rifle is just right and won't break bank. Cons: - The manual safety kinda sucks... It feels awkward and it's extremely stiff. I had to dedicate at least 30 minutes of using it in order to break it in and it still feels rather awful. It gets better, but still terrible. - It's heavy. Mine weighs between 9-10 lbs with a scope and bipod mounted. Normally, It wouldn't matter but if you're taking it hunting, be mindful of those difficult off hand shots. I never thought that I'd get so invested into air guns or anything like that, but the Barra 1100z makes it easy. I love my Barra 1100z, truly.

Love this .177 pcp airgun! Mounted a 4-16x50 mm BSA Contender scope I had on it. Backed the hammer spring out to flush and started shooting 8 shot groups at 40 feet in my backyard. Top middle target is 4 turns in and was opening up so backed it down to 3 1/2 turns in and refilled to 2250 psi. Target order shot was top left first and then counterclockwise. All 5 8 shot targets were 1/2” c to c or less! Was shooting thru chronograph and started at 949 fps and 48th shot was 912 fps shooting Sig Air 7.71 gr flat Match Pb pellets. Can’t wait to get it to a range and shoot out to 50 yards.

I haven't had a chance to shoot very much - about 100 pellets from various companies. I bought an inexpensive scope and dialed it in for about 25 yards - very accurate groupings so far. I need to adjust the elevation as I'm still shooting a little high. Very pleased with thec1100z .22!

Barra has preforms as advertised and more. If the future 25cal operations as well as 1100z watch out world.

All my other air rifles are going to just collect dust now. I bought my 1100z in .22 and it is amazing. Spring piston rifles just don't cut it anymore. I love the magazine, the side lever, the adjustable comb, billet breech (no more plastic crosman breeches), the shrouded barrel. There's just so much value. Oh yeah and it's absolutely whisper quiet with a 3d printed suppressor.
I like the trigger. I'll probably lighten it eventually but out of the box it is more than acceptable. It shoots ragged holes and is very accurate so long as I do my job well. The magazines cycle flawlessly and are easy to load. I like the shot indicator on the side of the magazine.
I was between the 1100z and the crosman 3622 (plus another $45 for their steel breech) and I'm very happy with my choice.

I like the way this air rifle knocks down ground hogs. Stops them dead in their tracks.
Things I would have changed:I wish it had some kind of open sights
What others should know:This is my first pcp. I like it way better than my old break barrels. I would say it is a very good pcp to start out with ( my amateur opinion) im happy with this purchase. It did leak right around the filler port at first but an expert from pyramid air helped me eight thru that. It just needed an o ring installed. It actually came with the gun i just needed to put it in. Now its perfect

AWESOME! PCP air rifle. I bought the .22 version and love it. Very well made. No issues at all with it. Thinking about buying the .177 version.

The packaging game a little beat up and my gun was scuffed upon arrival. I think it was used prior, don't know. But for the price i got mine at, i can't be mad. THIS GUN IS FUN. By far my favorite gun to use at the moment. Mine was accurate out of the box and fairly powerful. Definitely powerful enough to knockdown birds and squirrels INSTANTLY. I mostly use mine to explode rotten vegetables in my backyard which it accomplishes fairly easily with the right ammunition. Tested on clay, this gun produces bigger wound cavities with more energy transfer than my .177 U***** Fusion 2 running at 1800psi.. More energy than my H***** AirTact in .25 cal. but less energy than my R**** 22LR. Also, this gun is really really quiet. I think it's the shrouded barrel but when i use this gun i nearly don't hear anything but the impact of the pellet. Compared to my other guns, I'm shocked. Air tank is small but not too small. It makes for easy pumping. I get 20-30 shots from 3000psi down to about 2000 psi at which point i attach it to the pump and stroke it for about 30 seconds. That's all it takes to refill it. It could be shot all the way down to 1000 psi but seeing as it's unregulated, i prefer to keep mine full. The sweet spot seems to be around 2600psi. Altogether, I love this gun. I shoot mine nearly everyday.

Good quality for price. Hammer spring adjuster screw seems a little too easy to turn and a regulator would really be nice. Power seems to drop off rather quickly.

Premium features on an affordable PCP rifle is really nice. Easy to use and fun to shoot in the yard or out on a hike.

After shooting it, and sitting in the scope. 50yrds has a less then dime size hole using .22 14gr crossman. Great value and quality for the reasonable price.

Following the much appreciated recommendations of Airgun detectives and Gateway to Airguns YouTube channels I bought the Barra 1100z in .22. It’s been a great first PCP. I’ve enjoyed pestering as far as 80 yards. I’m very happy with it.

Hits a quarter at 30 yards paired with H&N barracuda hunter ~18gr. Starts to drop by 2,000 psi but plenty of good shots before that.

I had to return the Originally sent Barra 1100Z because of a defective safety lock and the rifle's cocking system would not engage.
I return the rifle and a replacement was promptly sent back to me all within 10 days. The replacement rifle works like a charm and the whole system works flawlessly. I would buy another Barra 1100Z and I would definitely recommend this rifle as a very accurate plinking rifle.
I shoot at 25 yrds to 35 yrds, but the rifle will easily sight in at 50 yrds and maintain accuracy. It is far cheaper to shoot pellets than .22 cal bullets.

This Air rifle is phenomenal. They have worked with me on initial problems I had with the Barra 1100z in Black .22. There customer service is above standard customer service. The Barra 1100z in .22 looks wonderful. The gun and its parts glissen as I inspect the gun. The gun itself shoots wonderfully. I am going to try the Barra shot eco tune: 1 turn in at 1900psi to 1000 psi for an amazing shot count!
Also, thanks Jake Wagner of Moab Ventures, you follow through with your promises!

First I read all the instructions then I clean the barrel, oiled the bolt. The first three shots you could cover them with a dime at 25 yards couldn’t believe my eyes.this rifle does what they say it will do.
