The 1100z Gen 2 builds on the success of the Gen 1 with key upgrades for enhanced performance and versatility. Now regulated for consistent shot-to-shot accuracy, it features a higher 3500 psi fill pressure and increased air storage capacity for more shots per fill. The barrel has been extended from 19 to 22 inches for improved velocity and precision, while the breech has been enlarged to accommodate better airflow and versatility. The side lever has been updated with tightened tolerances, reducing unnecessary movement and delivering a smoother, more reliable feel. A lighter hammer, optimized for efficiency with the regulator, minimizes bounce and supports compatibility with different springs for customized performance. The updated filling system now uses a fill probe and includes a regulated pressure gauge for added convenience.

Had a huge issue with it... But they took it back and fixed it!!!
This thing is an accurate hole thumper once you dial it in. Took a few magazines to tune. A bit louder than I was hoping, but also more powerful than expected. Heavier pellets will blow through one inch fir boards at 10 yards. Accurate out to about 60 yards off a bench.
There was nothing that I liked because I didn’t get to use the rifle.

What Others Should KnowIt was defective out of the box. I followed their video on cleaning it rife before use. When I remove the shroud, the air stripper was stuck at the end of the shroud. It was not attached to the barrel like in the video. It was jammed in and not easy to remove from the shroud. There were metal shavings everywhere inside the shroud and all over the barrel. After I finally got the the air stripper out of the shroud and reassembled the rifle, the rifle was leaking air. It was leaking from a screw on the side of the air chamber. Every pump came out immediately. Would not hold any air. I returned the rifle since it was within in the 30 day return period. I did not want a replacement. Not worth the frustration.
Just received my 1100z gen 2, already put 125 rounds through it in 1 weekend. So much fun to shoot all day long. I put a discovery optics 6-24x44 scope and putting dime size grouping at 50 yards, looking to stretch out further. Cleaned the barrel before shooting and lubed the action, haven’t had any issues through 125 rounds. Great gun for the price. Highly recommend.
I bought this gun 2 weeks ago and so happy I did! It shoots absolutely amazing! Dime size groups out of the box at 50yards. Amazing!
To be honest I thought this was and ok made rifle due to pricing but when I got it and saw it I was surprised by the quality and after shooting it for the last few days.
First time shooting my first PCP air gun and also first time using Barra. This is freakin EPIC! Out of the box, 40 yards, 20 shots, 2” grouping! I’m hooked!

I own two Barra 1100Z rifles one In .177 and another In .22, when Barra Introduced a Gen 2 1100Z In .177 I purchased It without hesitation and It's proven to be of the same high quality as all of my other Barra PCP rifles!

This is my first PCP, and 2nd Barra air rifle. The 1100z .22 Gen 2 is extremely accurate. It did take a little longer for me to zero the scope (Barra H30 3-9x32 Illuminated BDC Rifle Scope) due to the very fine adjustment calibration. 9's and Bulls consistently at 50 yards once the scope is set. The mounting rail is solid and secure. I also mounted a bi-pod on the bottom rail which is also solid and allows to quickly remove and attach the accessories when needed. The 10 round magazine has worked flawlessly to date. I have used only Barra pellets so far. The side lever loading bolt works well, but the feel of loading will vary slightly each round. I assume it's the pellets or the magazine. I'm very happy with the trigger pull out of the box and I have not adjusted it. It's very predictable and consistent. The adjustable cheek rest is a nice option, but again I'm happy with it right out of the box. I use the Barra 3 stage hand pump for the air. It is a work out but, preparing to use a little extra force at the bottom of the stroke seemed to help my technique. It comes with a de-gassing rod and it took a lot more revolutions than I was expecting to discharge the air chamber. Overall I think this is a great introduction to a PCP air rifle. It's quieter than my Game Varmint break barrel air rifle and a little less recoil. I would add a sling if I was carrying it all day. It's a lot of fun and seems to be a good value compared to other PCPs. Recommended!
