I purchased a daisy red Ryder at the same time and used them side by side.
I liked the size and weight but the plastic feel and plastic pump handle feel cheap.
I also didn't like the three steps to fire compared to one step, but not sure how I feel about that yet, as far as kids and safety.
I liked the wide space around the trigger for cooler weather and gloves.

From Colson(Age12),It is a good gun but the sight needs work. But again it is a good gun and I suggest it.

The safest bb and pellet gun we have now. The lever and the bb capacity is the only thing why its not a five star. Great for my duaghter. plus she likes the rosie becuase it looka so pretty. Great gun to teach your kids on

It is a good gun, it shoots straight, and it's easy to use. I think that other kids would enjoy it.

This was nice and easy to use. Very beginner friendly.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. I was leery of it because I couldn't open and look at it. When Christmas came,man was I amazed at the quality. It's a very well built gun doesn't feel cheap. Accuracy was spot on out of the box. I would definitely buy again and would recommend for someone else. Thanks again for the well built gun. Hopefully she gets plenty of use out of it.

Bb capacity needs to be more. Better sights. Overall Outstanding little shooter. Pellets are hard to load.

What caught my eye was the colour and then the price and it's a great gift for myself since I feel I'm not ready for a real gun as of yet. I love it for practice.

Got my son an 1866 and my daughter the 1866 Rosie both guns look amazing the moment the boxes were open. Decently accurate out of the box! My family had a blast today shoot bb guns as a family.

Got the Barra 1866 Rosie, first impression out of the box, the gun is a beauty. My wife thought I had bought yet another Henry rifle at first ha. It has an awesome safety feature that is not only great working, but is great on teaching the kiddos about gun safety. Onto firing the gun, this thing packs a pretty darn good punch. With only needing to pull the bolt back to load and just taking one pump of the lever, Which my kiddos can do with ease. It fires at 350 FPS, and is pretty accurate as well. I'm impressed with how easy it is to load and pump, all the while being quite powerful and accurate as well! It's a heck of a BB gun to shoot, and a heck of a price as well! Quality gun, and a beauty too!

I love that this gun teaches my boys the art of bolt action and also lever action rifle for the future

Great gun for kids. Love that the safety resets after each shot. They look really cool too. They are easy to pump as well, which makes it easier for kids to pump it without a parent's help each shot. Definitely doesn't have a ton of power but it can shoot through a milk jug and the kids love that.

Gun is made of plastic. Has the bolt action too load a bb really light and really accurate. Adjustable sights. The lever too pump it it's kinda hard too get off the spring and feels like your gonna break it. Overal awesome bb gun

I like everything about it and I would tell a friend to tell a friend to purchase one .

The price I got it at is great it's reliable, and I'm currently using it to teach my Wife and Daughter about guns and how to put rounds on paper. The color of the gun is beautiful and the gun itself is light. I do feel like I'm almost breaking the air pump everytime I pump it but I honestly love it

This is one of the best air rifles I've owned out of a collection of 8. Here's a good rundown of the Pros for this rifle, I have not experienced any cons:

- Quality is top notch, nothing feels cheap or weak about the rifle.
- Safety features on the rifle are fantastic to teach young shooters about being safe.
- All firing mechanisms work great.
- Aesthetics are great quality and make for a great rifle. My kids were so excited unboxing this thing.
- Very accurate shooting through the open sights.
- It's a great rifle for all ages and everyone who's seen it has complimented it.

You or any youngster who receives this rifle will be excited and happy with it!
