The Barra 1866 Rosie is a perfect lever action gun to get my little daughter into for practice before actually letting her shoot a real lever action rifle which is a part of history in life that every child should know about.....

Gonna start off simple. The brass finish is slick and reminds me of an old fashioned henry rifle. It's a beautiful gun only wish the fire rate and FPS could be higher but I can't be mad

I purchased the 1866 Rosie for my son and daughter as an upgrade from a Red Ryder. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the construction, it didn't rattle or feel flimsy in the hand. Using the charging lever and loading a .177 pellet was straight forward although a bit tedious for my large fingers but not terrible. And then firing, accurate soft firing and true. The trigger is a bit stiff with some creep but expected for an air rifle and BB combo. Overall Barra has won over a new customer and your products will be on my consumer radar from now on

Its a kids toy I get it. The packaging made the gun look of higher quality than it is and the 800 fps is probably a overstatement. Iam going put it up for my daughter when she is gets older.

The Rosie is not only good looking but quite accurate. From 30 feet I got 1" groups with 7.8 grain wadcutter pellets. Nice to only have to pump once and deliver so much power. The rose gold receiver and band are quite handsome. This will be a great training rifle for my grandnephews! It's light, easy to pump and fun to shoot. I like that the safety hammer falls down after pulling the trigger - not so with the 1866 full-size model.
