This is my son's second BB gun. He likes the look of it, and it appears to be a little easier to cock than the red ryder he has. I like that it can shoot pellets too. The plastic for the bolt and lever seem to be of decent quality, but I did make sure to remind him not to force the lever to the side when cocking it as it is a little flimsy. Overall, great gun to add to his list of options to shoot when plinking cans.

I purchase this air rifle for my 9 year old grand daughter to introduce to guns.She just loves it she called me a d how it operated the safety trigger the safety grasses target bb's everything Barra is doing it right Thanks

This is a nice little starter gun. My only issue is that there is a lot of plastic pieces rather than metal. Buy it is a nice little pellet/bb gun. I like the rose gold color.

I had an opportunity to shoot a bird in my neighbors garage and let me say, that BB gun did awesome! Never thought I'd be able to kill a bird with it; I am thoroughly impressed! Will be buying more

The gun has a quality feel and look, my only complaint is that the charging handle being made of plastic feels cheap and I have concerns of it snapping when unlocking it from the the frame of the gun but for the price the rifle is the quality everywhere else makes up for it.

I had never heard of Barra Airguns. My niece who is a Law Enforcement officer purchased this rifle for my daughter as Christmas present. After looking it over, I was very impressed. Not only by the craftsmanship but the detail as well. Very simple to read and operate. My daughter is 9 and operates with ease. I highly recommend Barra to others and will be purchasing a few for myself.

I like the looks of this gun. It has decent power for a pump rifle. I do not like the length of the lever used to pump because it is awkward. I like the built in safety hammer because it gives an authentic feel and increased safety for kids.

We are very pleased with the 1866 Rosie, however, we did find a few things that we would change. For my daughter, who is 9, we found the pumping lever to long and quit hard for her to pump. Also, the pump lever was hard to get separated from the riffle when clipped in.
The riffle was also missing the rear sight elevator. Other than that, we are happy with the air gun.
