This gun came in with great shipping time. That's just the first plus. The gun itself is great quality with the metal slide that has a FULL blowback rather than these puny half blowbacks everyone else is selling. Gun is accurate, easy to use, and affordable. HIGHLY recommend

I love the weight of the 1911 airgun. It has fairly good accuracy and is very realistic with its full-metal construction and full blowback. I would highly reccomend this airgun.

I just got around to trying out my 1911 today. Had a little problem at first(my bad), but after getting past that got 75 shots on a co2 and i shot fairly quick aimed shots about every few seconds! Great little gun and glad Barra had the flat mainspring housing on the grip! That was what sold me on the Barra 1911 aesthetically over the competition! Weight is great and I'm satisfied so far.

Very nice - quality reproduction - look , feel , finish - great for the price !! Downside - loading the mag [ my fingers are stiff ] , use a loader it helps ! fun to shoot , great action .

Man this air gun is the truth two mags and you can train away feels just like my real 1911 except I'm not wasting my ammo to train when you shot it for the first time and feel the recoil you will know you made the right choice when you chose BARRA air guns thanks Barra and keep up the great work

Feels like a real gun. Love the full metal. Great blowback action. The only downside is that it's fun to rapid fire but you run out of bbs so fast because it's a small mag

Fit, finish and gas usage are all great with this pistol. Parts are interchangeable with my Swiss Arms 1911, so you can play with color combinations with no loss in shootability, I am sure the parts are interchangable with nearly all of the 1911 copies out there, as they seem to be manufactured by a small list of companies. Magazines are interchangeable as well. I love being able to field strip this gun. Recoil is crisp, and the sights are pretty good. Easy to correct the POI after a couple of shots. The pistols has a pretty good heft to it, even if lighter than the real steel it copies. I would feel completely confident in recommending this 1911 to a friend.

Put the white type under the trigger guard. Adjustable rear sights would be awesome, but not really necessary.

The grips are hard plastic and not particularly "grippy." I will probably add some rubber Hogue grips. Be forewarned, you will have to trim the bottom of the grips with an Xacto knife to accommodate the Co2 cylinder swell in the magazine.

I am a rather avid collector but my personal favorite is the 1911 replicas that are as close to there firearm counterparts as possible. This gives you a much realistic experience in training and saving a ton on ammo. When I first saw Barra's version of the 1911 tactical I just had a gut feeling it would be a well made air gun. It didn't disappoint. It's full metal construction gave it a very good weight and balance. The blowback was was crisp and responsive and gave it a nice feeling of sharp recoil like in the Swiss Arms 1911 try. It was fair when accuracy tested shooting ever so slightly up and to the right. I tested at 15 20,and 25 ft respectively . With a little sight adjustment it performed very well. If your a novice or intermediate shooter you can't go wrong with this gun either adding or starting a collection this 1911 replica fits the bill and is very modestly priced, it's really a nice pistol to own.

,Overall very little. As I did say above mine did shoot just very small deviation of high and slightly right but the was easy to remedy once you readjusted and went thru a few mags. I'm really a stickler when it comes to any loose rattling sounds but I'm really OCD about so the tolerances I'd like to see a little tighter but it would most likely no bother most people. Well it's a very good pistol and well worth the price

Exercise extreme caution.if shooting outdoors. This is a replica and a very well made one. Law enforcement will think it is a firearm!!! So as always practice safe carrying and shooting at all times

Amazing quality and finish. This pistol looks and feels like a real 1911. I couldn't be happier with this item. The operation of the pistol is spot on and I would heartily recommend "The 1911" as an addition to anyone's replica collection.

I have a witness 1911 and wore it out. I enjoy shooting a 1911 style gun so I got the tactical 1911 from Barra I've only shot one co2 thru it. Love the sites and safety's on both sides, I am a ambidextrous shooter and the safety's are handy. I'm looking forward to warring this one out. Thanks Barra for the good service.

I like 1911s, normally made by KWC, because of a reasonable blowback what make them good to train combat shooting, when accurate. This one is accurate, with a good trigger and clear round white sights which helps a lot. Besides, they are field strippable and you can swap slides. It compares to the Swiss Arms TRS and Umarex Colt Commander, although the Swiss Arms doesn’t have white marks. They all shoot almost the same, but this one gives me tighter groups. The ones with the traditional sights are more difficult to get tight groups, like Gletcher CLT and AV-Springfield.

There are too many white marks on the slide with a huge 4-line warning. It takes the good looking away and together with the shiny silver barrel makes it even worst. A dark barrel looks better in a dark metal gun. The safe, like the Swiss Arms, doesn’t have a good “click” position and it is easily moved up by the thumb because of the overextended wing, putting the gun on safe when you don’t want. The traditional safe works much better.

If you train/play draw and shoot, the hard holster for the 1911s will not work because of the Picatinny rail. It is too bulky and not like the Swiss Arms TRS.
Using 3 magazines and performing fast shooting, it gives 45 good shots/CO2 and at 5 yards most of the 15 shots (80-93%) are inside the 2-inch bull and all inside the 4-inch target. Clean the barrel because it comes with little oil. Maximum shots are 55 per CO2, as all other 1911s.

Very heavy feels really good in the hands, amazing look to it and has definite power when shooting with a new co2 cartridge, the mag is pretty simple to fill and love the grip safety and overall solid gun 10/10
