I am a rather avid collector but my personal favorite is the 1911 replicas that are as close to there firearm counterparts as possible. This gives you a much realistic experience in training and saving a ton on ammo. When I first saw Barra's version of the 1911 tactical I just had a gut feeling it would be a well made air gun. It didn't disappoint. It's full metal construction gave it a very good weight and balance. The blowback was was crisp and responsive and gave it a nice feeling of sharp recoil like in the Swiss Arms 1911 try. It was fair when accuracy tested shooting ever so slightly up and to the right. I tested at 15 20,and 25 ft respectively . With a little sight adjustment it performed very well. If your a novice or intermediate shooter you can't go wrong with this gun either adding or starting a collection this 1911 replica fits the bill and is very modestly priced, it's really a nice pistol to own.
Things I would have changed:,Overall very little. As I did say above mine did shoot just very small deviation of high and slightly right but the was easy to remedy once you readjusted and went thru a few mags. I'm really a stickler when it comes to any loose rattling sounds but I'm really OCD about so the tolerances I'd like to see a little tighter but it would most likely no bother most people. Well it's a very good pistol and well worth the price
What others should know:Exercise extreme caution.if shooting outdoors. This is a replica and a very well made one. Law enforcement will think it is a firearm!!! So as always practice safe carrying and shooting at all times

this gun is less velocity but more money just becouse I has more metal

Got this air gun a few years back always loved the 1911. To this day it still holds up although it has some issues it is still a great buy, It's come apart like a real 1911 and it's got that nifty safety guard on the handle which I love. Perfect for target practice of if you're trying to get rid of some large bugs. It's lightweight, easy to use and overall runs exactly like a Colt 1911. Another feature I love is the rail under the barrel perfect for a light or a laser sigh, great for beginners and people willing to get into gun culture. Would recommend, keep up the amazing work Barra Airguns!

I bought this product last week an its incredible, amazingly good for a airgun its like a real one but with co2 good for practice for your real 1911, really good an reliable all metal 1911 Co2 gun i love it

I LOVE IT! as a 1911 platform fan, this is so fun to shoot around the back yard with the kids, teaching them responsibility and the fundumentals of handeling a handgun. really realistic from the dimantions. weight and fonctunality.

Real deal right here!! I love the feel and handling of the 1911 bb gun. It's very authentic to the real thing. I really enjoyed shooting this gun. It's got a heavy feel and shoots just like the real thing. This is great especially nowadays with ammo prices so high!! This is a perfect addition and saves me tons on real ammo. A must have for any collection.

I purchased the firearm a couple days ago I just received it today this is hands down the best and most realistic air gun I shot I'm very happy with my purchase it took a couple days to get to me but it's well worth it I hope this is helpful for anyone that is the pros. Now the cons are the front iron sight is kinda loose but it does not effect the shooting

On the site it says that this shoots at 340 fps but the box says 325 fps why are two different speeds being shown?

I got this BB gun as a first to my collection and I honestly would have gotten 2 of them. The quality is just superb and the feel of it really mimics a true 1911. Love the way the hammer feels as well definitely money well spent! Thanks BARRA AIRGUNS UP 👍
