Pros & Cons to everything. Love the fact that there is no cocking or pumping & no CO2 cartridges to fool with to operate the gun. Flip the selector switch & ready to fire. Power level is about perfect for my intended use (not as powerful or dangerous as something stronger). Only real intended use is to scare away destructive & annoying critters & pests around the house. So, that said the semi auto & full auto capability without pumping & cocking for each shot is fantastic. Those are the Pros. Now the cons, for me personally. Too heavy, IMHO no good reason for that much weight on something like this. I'd love it at 5 lbs. & luv it more at less than 5 lbs. Next, Sights Not the same on gun as pictured on box or anywhere else I recall prior to my purchase.. No Good for me. Took them off shortly after trying to use them once. I can hit a ten to twelve inch target at 100 ft. at least 95% of the time with no sights at all. I'd love a smaller, shorter, lighter plastic hand guard in front of the receiver like the older style shorty AR-15's & M16's. I would also prefer a 20 round sized magazine, even if that means less capacity. The 30 rounders are just too long & in the way if you don't need the extra capacity. For my intended use I will probably shoot between 5 to 20 rounds per use. That's how it's been so far. I'd also like to see about a two or three inch shorter barrel length or overall length if that's possible without terribly affecting performance. Based on my intended use the recommended battery is way too big. I'll most likely never shoot 1000 rounds in one days use. I may not shoot 1000 rounds during the entire time I own the thing. I do have smaller batteries for other RC applications & did briefly try a much smaller battery with the same cell count, voltage rating & recommended "C" rating & it seemed to work fine. Last complaint, Buttstock battery cover comes off unintended occasionally :( Final thoughts: Like it a lot, it's cool, looks good, functions well & fun :)

Total blast, very powerful for an electric gun. Fast reliable shooting. Only problem is empty way too fast. Gut feeling is that if you guys can build a bb gun this good I know you can design a clip with a lot more capacity!

so much better than the other air gun i got last week. this trigger is above and beyond the Crossman way beyond!!!!! very accurate at 20yds. speed loader... seems to work fine wish they could put sight widow in the magazine. but over a very sweet bb gun very very pleased.

This is an awsom gun. I especially like the electric part of it. Looks just like an AR gun.

First, being a retired army vet, the rifle feels like the real deal. Solid and well built. I was looking for a full auto rifle based on the M4. Checked out a number of options and saw the Barra and was sold instantly. Consistent accuracy, twice the magazine capacity of others, and inexpensive shooting over time. So for me the rifle gets 10 stars. On to the "not so much's". I cold not zero the rifle using the iron sights. BB hits were all low. Using a Mil spec red dot I had was able to zero in 9 shots. Consistent 10 ring groups at 33 feet. Loader works. More difficult to use than expected. I had issues with the BB feeding into the load column. Had to shake to get that remedied. Plunging the BB into the magazine was harder that I expected. It works, but you have to use some effort to get the process started. It works. At first I thought I was doing something wrong. I wasn't. I wish the magazine has a clear window that showed whether the mag was full or not. Overall, I love this rifle. I couldn't be happier and cannot recommend this rifle highly enough. If you want a fun semi, fully auto BB rifle that looks and feels like the real thing, You cannot go wrong with a Barra 400.

I bought this gun and was impressed with its rate of fire, weight and quality. It is quite accurate too and I shot mant magazines through it in a single charge. It claims to shoot 1000 BBs per charge but I think i got that many ore more. I had to improve the speed loader that is included (there are videos on YouTube) but it comes free. You’ll want to buy an extra magazine or more for this one because it’s cheap to run and lots of fun! You can modify this rifle all you want with common parts!

This is a very well made and accurate gun. I was surprised by the accuracy. You will definitely go through a lot of bb's. The only negative that I have found is the small clip. I would like to see a clip with a much larger capacity to keep the fun going.

The air gun is absolutely a delight to shoot. The full auto is quite enjoyable to engage. I was also surprised with the accuracy of this BB gun. It has no comparison with my DPMS SBR. Definitely the 400e is a fun air gun to have!

Great gun. Accurate right out of the box. Works well for taking nuisance birds out that are in the shed

I picked up the tan version for back yard blinking, it delivered more then I was expecting. Very capable and gets right to it! Love it!!! But the speed loader sucks ..only complaint

I bought this because a friend recommended it and i am not disappointed with the gun the clip seem a little hard to load but other than that what a great product.

The gun is a lot of fun but it does not feel solid. Yes, it is solidly built but the magazine feels cheap and it does not feel solidly connected to the rifle when inserted. The loader jams frequently and can be very frustrating. The full auto mode is very fun but it seems to lack much of the punch. It will easily go through soda cans but not cans that you find in your cupboard. Is it worth the money? I'd say possibly.

One word, gentleman and ladies ,outstanding! enough said! I have ran 6000 rounds of Hornady black BBs through this rifle. any problem I have encountered was because of the operator not the rifle. You have a winner and I am sure as technology progresses. Things will get better. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Really well made and a lot of fun. Being a big pcp gun person I like all types of guns. When I am not doing serious target practice, I will break out the 400 and go after my plastic army men at 60ft. No co2 or refilling with air. It is a blast for a BB gun.

Excellent build quality and is very consistent. Battery last long.

I recently purchased the Barra 400E AEG airgun rifle and I am extremely impressed with the usability and its consistent accuracy whether using in semi or auto mode. The convenience of having it always on without the need of CO2 cartridges is a game changer. I also no longer have to worry about the first and last couple of rounds performing differently like they would in a CO2 airgun. Overall, I highly recommend the Barra 400E AEG airgun for its accuracy, ease of use, and solid construction.

I own two barra 400e these bb guns are a blast! Great company that stands by their products, Highly recommend and the saving on charging a battery over buy co2 is huge!!

It feels real, looks real and shoots on target. Im a little worried about the speed loader lasting, but we'll see. Besides that I love it!!

I love that this saves me co2 and the look and feel is amazing! Only complaint is the magazine/speed loader. It just feels cheap and jams sometimes. Crossman makes a 300 round magazine with the speed loader built-in. If you could out do this, I believe this would be the cream of the crop. Another suggestion for the product roadmap is a higher RPM and more accessories for this model. Overall, I really like the gun.
