the only thing that bothered me about this rifle was the pump action it is fairy tough to work and feels like you may break it when pumping. other than that it shoots great and is a fun little toy!

Good shooting gun, although I have only shot it a few times.. I mostly display it, on the wall it is indistinguishable from a Henry. I also have bought a few Junior
1866s and a Rosie. It goes well with my black powder 1851 revolver.

This thing is a good BB gun for my 7 year old boy. He can cock it and handle the gun really well. It is an accurate shooting gun also. Would recommend.

I was really impressed with this gun. This was a gift for my grandson for Christmas and his first ever gun. It is very accurate and easy to handle. The appearance is also very nice!

The weight..the look, the overall feel of the gun.
Things I would have changed:The way one must feed a pellet..I WILL SAY THE DESIGN SUCKS..I USE HEMOSTATS TO GET IT JUST RIGHT..... ONE FALSE MOVE AND IT FALLS IN THE BB COMPARTMENT. You would think with the time spent on looks , functionality would have played a bigger part. Seriously I thought of returning it..but its fun..has a hard tricky trigger and its difficult to know when the pellet will fly??? But within 5-8 shots I figured it out..
What others should know:Its fun (ish), kinda hard to load pellets.....it would suck if you were in a hurry, say a second shot? ......has a pop so beware..very strong and fairly accurate...just hafta find the sweetspot. other than the pellet loading ..cool lil gun..easy to pump and strong. I have already put about 200 pellets thru it and it seems to be warming up to me?? :)

It's a very good starter bb gun it is accurate and powerful good for it's price it's very comfortable in the hands, it is a good for it's price but the sights are easy to break

All aspects of the gun are very nice only disappointment was FPS plenty of FPS for shooting bbs but went you swap to pellets not so much would like to see more FPS for pellets

Bought my son the 1866 Jr for Christmas. It had a safety issue so i went ahead and bought the 800 fps one. He is 11 so he is disciplined enough for the bigger one. No issues so far and the gun is pretty and accurate.
