I love the design and weight. It is easy to hold steady on target. I guess the main thing I dislike is the stock being plastic. It would look more authentic with wood.

Love the gun, love the gold finish, great for target practice with the kids, really feel like an old western cowboy.

Like the pump action , my other gun is very hard to pump

Bought this to plink with my son and get him introduced to gun handling, safety, and shooting. It's beyond expectations to go straight from the box to having an afternoon for dad and son to bound. Easy to aim, easy to function, accurate, and plenty of room for him to grow in it. We will be doing trick shots in no time!

No complaint except gold coloring plating is not a very good shade of gold.

Gun looks nice and shoots decent l. Expected it to be a little more sturdy but it's mostly plastic.

I have the sportsman 900 series and I have loved shooting this airgun so far shoots straight as an arrow love the stock super comfy and the length on it is perfect I love the fiber optic iron sights it comes with and just a super fun gun to play around with and I love the pump action handle very convenient only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the scope it came with would not sight in despite hours of trying other than that awesome gun

The 1866 is beautiful and seems to function well. The rifle seems well constructed and durable. I do wish that the plastic stock was real wood and that the receiver was real metal, but I expect that that would make it much more expensive. The functionality is good and I like how the safety was made to look like a hammer and the pump functions much like a standard lever action.

I liked the look of this Barra Air Rifle when I saw it. But my first though was that it was going to be a cheap product. Of course this isn't an actual rifle but I have been left impressed with this Air Rifle. It looks like a replica of the actual Winchester, the weight is a little lighter but it shoots true.

Great for Begginers or those who just enjoy the classic lever action look. Has to be pumped 1 to 10 times, about 5 is great for 20ft with good accuracy. The look is awesome, reminds me of Red Dead Redemtion and many great 1800s Westerns. Can also shoot a pellets, can only be loaded one at a time (as expected) but can hold maybe 15 bb's or more. Anyone over 12yrs would be able to handle this weapon (with adult supervision) safely. Easy Safety on the hammer with a HUGE red dot on both sides. Would recommend for anyone.

It has to be said that this is an absolute beauty! It really looks like a rifle right out of a western, which, let's be honest, is pretty much the main reason I got it. It has a nice weight to it, and the hammer as the safety is a nice touch as well.
This air gun also has a solid amount of power. At 3 pumps it seriously pops a pellet through a box target, at least as strong as comparable airguns if not stronger.

Now that that is out of the way! I have to say that I am a bit disappointed with the accuracy. I'm over 40 now and have shot Daisy powerline air rifles since I was in my teens. I'm more than a decent shot. I'm teaching my ten year old son to shoot now and he's getting pretty good. He's been learning on an ancient airgun his grampa found in the garage that is literally held together with duct tape, so I got myself this and was planning on handing my Daisy on down to him. Well ... after a day of practicing with the (very cool) targets that came with it, I can safely say I would not trust this rifle to kill a copperhead at anything but point blank range, which, you know, isn't the ideal range for dealing with snakes that can bite you.

It consistently shoots far to the right and sometimes to the right and high. There is just no adjustment i can make to the dovetail site for that kind of inaccuracy.

So I don't know, I may continue to try to shoot with it. I'm definitely going to mount it over my door in my office like you see in the westerns, but I was hoping for more than an 80 dollar piece of wall art when I got it.

Love the look and feel of the Barra 1866 Cowboy Series. Good quality gun for the price! Love the design of the safety and shoots nice. My son was happy and the gophers are not. Very satisfied with this product.

Love the barra 1866 made me feel like I was in a western movie! Shoots great really top of the line air rifle you can get!!

So bought this for my son and let me tell you he loves it easy to use to just target practice and plink around with. Only complaint I have is the pump handle is made pretty cheap

Seems inaccurate, most ones I shoot curve unlike the daisy. Also a little heavy
