I purchased this rifle about 2 months ago. It has been a decent little rifle for the price, shoots well, was accurate right out the box, had decent weight pretty sturdy gun. Now my only problem is the gold looked way cheesier and person than it did in the picture other than that absolutely love playing with the rifle.

I love it! Has a great heavy feel to it and I can’t wait to shoot it more!

Got this to teach my wife how to shoot, pretty fun, good for plinking cans, curious to see if I can bag a few quail with it at some point! I do wish the .22 barrel mod that's available for the CO2 version of the rifle was available for the pump action as well but still pretty nice!

I just bought this rifle, everything is good, I noticed it does not shoot straight. I have to aim left of the target in order to hit the target. Other than that, I like it. Its fun shooting cans and empty water bottles filled with dirt for weight.

I bought this 1866 And the quality is amazing ! Does not feel like a toy at all, shoots pretty far too.

I bought this a half a month ago, and I've been plinking with it almost every day. It's a ton of fun, and accurate as can be. The "cowboy cool" factor is definitely there, especially with the gold coloring and imitation wood stock. I plan to get a barra for my little one when she's of age, overall great product so far!

This bb gun has survived an 11 year old boy and has never malfunctioned. This is actually the 2nd one we have bought because the first one got broke in half at no fault of its own. It still worked even after being broke it just had to have to stoke taped back on. As they say duck tape fixes everything.

I've owned a Barra 1866 Cowboy for a couple of years now and my experiences with it are that it is a good buy for a reasonably priced air rifle. Very accurate at reasonable air gun range with both lead pellets and steel round BB's. And very powerful for a lower priced air gun: at ten paces with ten pumps both lead pellets and BB's will easily pass through a thicker gauge steel spray paint can..this gun is NOT a toy! Only caveat: pellets can be rather tricky to orient properly in the loading chamber..use dome or pointed nose pellets they load easier than the flat nose wadcutter type.

I bought this gun, around one month ago, and I have gone small game hunting with it, this gun is perfect for hunting or if hunting isn't you're thing it is PERFECT for looks in your house it has that nostalgia of the wild west days. Also LOVE that it can shoot bb's and pellets.

Bought this today got home and tried it and it was awesome love the weight it had easy to use spent hours in the back yard with the kids shooting can so much fun

I decided to teach my 7 year old son to shoot this year, so I picked him up the old Buck 105. While shopping for it I saw the 1866 and figured "why not get myself one as well". After a while of teaching him to shoot (with him getting a little cocky) he started asking me to shoot with him. Holy smokes this gun is great! First two shots were just about as close to center as you could ask. After a few minutes there wasn't much of a bullseye left. Plenty of power, even with three pumps for basic target shooting. The gun does feel a bit plasticy like in the stock, but overall it is a solid gun that looks great and shoots like dream. This gun will definitely be your "old reliable". I was shooting BBs, and occasionally one would fall into the side of the slide - it didn't jam or cause any issues, but if you aren't paying attention you'll be shooting air. Fun, accurate, cheap and looks amazing. Definitely worth the money.

This rifle is beautiful, its vintage style makes it very pleasing to the eye. Its weight is fine, it is not so light that it feels like a toy nor so heavy that a child cannot use it. It is easy and simple to pump it to its limit. The shots are very powerful.

I would love it if it had some improvements, such as the quality of the paint on the charging lever, it is very poor and rusts easily. The trigger could be improved and I'm not sure if it is metal, which would be very good to improve quality. Another factor that would be very good to change is to make the hammer have a different function than the safety. It would be much more realistic and desirable if it moved with each shot.

It is a fun weapon to shoot at cans, break bottles or compete as a family to see who has the best aim. Also to teach shooting or safety rules it is ideal. Remember that there are two versions: the children's version, which is a single pump, and the adult version, which reaches up to 10. Be careful when purchasing, so that you do not receive an unwanted one.

Great starter air rifle for target practice and learning.

I bought this BB gun to plink targets with my grandchildren. It’s fairly accurate, I consider it a good purchase, and would buy it again.

I bought this air rifle for my son to use, and it is pretty darned nice for the money. The styling is great, overall build is fairly good, and it does provide plenty of power. Accuracy has been decent with bb’s but not great. Admittedly, he hasn’t tried any pellets in the rifle yet. My assessment of this air rifle is made taking the cost of the rifle into account, and in that regard I would say that it is well above expectations. I would like to see a higher end offering that is manufactured using more metal and some wood furniture. At that point it would be just about perfect.

Just purchased and have shot 6 rounds only. Seems to shoot pretty good. Looks very impressive.

Bought the Gold Cowboy Rifle as a gift. Test fired it and decided to keep it for my self. Great quality, Great looks, Fire Fine & a Touch of History (The Rifleman). I pumped 4 times with a pellet & shot into a 5 liter beer keg at 30 yards. Can't say much more for now, but I highly recommend. Look forward to using on a daily basis for target practice/plinking!

It a great gun it feels and looks like a real gun alots of power the only thing I have bad to say is that the cocking slid it doesn't stay alway close
