This gun is the real deal. It is well made in America and weighs like a gun and not a toy. The gold-looking finish is very good looking. Loading is a little difficult because I have large hands but is a minor deal. I really like the pump which is easy to use. The gun fires well. Over all for the money I don't think you can find a better air gun that looks and feels like this gun.

Put the box love it has good power and feels good love the details on it! Very accurate as well

Great gun very accurate out of the box only down fall is recvier is a lil small for pellets with bigger fingers used a Dremel shaved down material works great

I bought this gun yesterday. It was so cool. It is extremely accurate and easy to use! I love it! It is a lever action, but the bolt is a little hard to use. so cowboyish.

Bought this rifle for my son he loves to go out and shoot cans. He was greatly impressed , as was I at the power that the rifle had. It was easy to use and not hard for him to pump up. This is a product that I had not heard of but really like. And it was very affordable.

This rifle is so accurate and my son loved it, he says he feels like a cowboy!

I bought this a while ago just for fun bottle shooting but this has power, only 1 pump and you can break a glass bottle, it seems like it can be used for small pests

I bought this a few days ago in wallmart it wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it is a nice collection.

I live in the Texas Hill Country with close neighbors. I don't wish to use a regular rifle due to noise & safety. I still need to protect my chickens and livestock to from critters, snakes and other varmits. I have a Red Ryder BB gun which is more of a toy and doesn't seem to do much for scaring predators off. Personally, I don't like killing, had enough of that in Asia. I ordered the Barra 1866 and expected a toy with the ability to give increments of impact. What I got was not a toy. I was totally surprised at the quality and craftesmenship of this weapon. It reminds me of a rifle that my dad had in Idaho that used a plunger to tap a cap, ball, and powder down the barrel. The 1866 even has an Octagonal barrel just like his had. The weight lets you know as soon as you pick it up that this is quality. Best of all it's silent so I don't get on the nerves of locals and it can be pumped up to either discourage predators or even kill if necessary. I am totally glad that I purchased this airgun.

I had one of these that Daisy made in the 70’s, when I found out that Barra released a better more powerful pump version I had to have one. Very good craftsmanship that will last a lifetime. Very nice option to shoot pellets also, just has a great feel about it pumps very smooth love it better than I expected!

I love the gun! Easy to use and shoot. The gold plating is nice also.

Seam's good quality nice weight feels solid. I just tried it out accurate. I have a vermin that I'm going to have to get rid of with this sucker I'll let you know how it works.

My husband got this gun for our son to get into guns and to practice and teach gun safety with. We absolutely love it!

I got this item 2 days ago as a gift. After shooting it it felt amazing. I love the iron sights and the look of the gun. And funny enough, I look like a pilgrim lol! I rate this a five because it’s power is amazing and I can shoot my targets very far away.
