It handle very well. Bit of power I wasn't expecting! Great back yard plinking experience!!

BBs aren't very accurate in this one, but pellets fly amazingly straight with a good amount of power. I was originally looking for a sportsman 900, but they didnt have it so I bought this one. I've realized though that it is the exact same as the sportsman 900 just with a different appearance.

fun little target shooter, very accurate and i love the bb reservoir!

My 26yr old son loved it. Easy to work and load. Uses it for target practice (I won't let him own a real gun). This pellet gun is beautiful, he loved the stern ines of the gun, but honestly it's looks more like a toy gun. Over all great product. Recommend. Now my husband is looking into buying one as well😉

I like the look although the gold is a little too shiny. I don't like how the pump goes up the barrel. The accuracy and velocity are awesome.

This is a very good gun for the price. It's very accurate for 15 yards. The iron sight takes a little getting used to, but overall it's great for the price range.

The air gun looks just like the old 30/30 and shoots very accurate

I love everything about the air gun but only one thing i kind of dislike is how far you have to pump it.
Besides that i would definitely recommend this to a friend.

It is a nice looking air gun. But it takes too many pumps to make it work . The lever is too long and bulky . It would be nice if it had less plastic . Cheap trigger made of plastic ..

Very clean lines on the gun and barrel, quality material. It was heavier than expected, which was an awesome bonus cause I feel like it Won't break after a couple of uses. Shoots straight as an arrow.

I bought it for my son I originally thought it looked awesome but I figured it wasn't as good as the old school ones I grew up with but we opened it today and it took me a minute to figure out how to shoot it cuze I'm used to the old pump and shoot the trigger type I actually had to read the manual but it's good because it's safer more steps and it has a safety led chance of a little one hurting themselves if accidentally left out so I did like that
And it's extremely accurate like very on target so thanks for a great air gun

Love the gun shoots amazing!, 177 cal bbs or pellets is awesome goldfight pellets make the thing a absolute monster. Shot it over 500 times amazing airgun really reliable. Only bad thing is I think the gold is plastic.

like the coller the fill of it looks rill good the bad part is the rejuct is not made of metal i would like the front sights to move to the left or right?

Bought new got home opened the box and was very impressed with the looks, quality and feel. The only complaint I have is it didn't include even a small package of BBS. Therefore I can't test fire until I get out to my farm where I have several bottles of BBS. I figured it would have came with at least a small package for testing

I purchased the 1866 as my son's first gun. To teach him gun safety, how to aim, handle and maintain. It is a great BB/Pellet gun and shoots surprisingly well. I am very glad we purchased it. Well worth the money.

This gun seems great so far! Decently accurate, handsome finish, and a great western feel. The lever itself could be made of a better/stiffer material but should hold up well to regular use. For the price, pretty hard to beat. It may not be quite as quick as a Red Ryder but is seems significantly more powerful.
