Everything about this pistol is great other that it is only a BB gun. But for the price it is an excellent repro.

Things I would have changed:the gun's accuracy...it seems to shoot low and to the left, but this could be due to the 2.2lb weight of the pistol
What others should know:the Weathered Look is an appropriate name,,,,it takes a bit of getting used to

This Schofield revolver looks great, handles great, and is a ton of fun to shoot! The extractor on the real steel guns was designed to lift the empty casings far enough to allow them to fall out and leave the unfired cartridges in the cylinder. Obviously, this doesn't work with the BB version, but reloading is still easier than I thought it would be. The extremely authentic looks and handling make this a great gun. th
Things I would have changed:If they come out with a rifled barrel pellet version of this gun I will buy it.
What others should know:I took the advice of another reviewer and filled in the area around the built-in wrench in the grip with JB Weld to keep the grip from cracking. No signs of stress after about a dozen CO2 cartridges, so I think it is going to be OK.

Guns got a nice finish to it, grips look real nice shells are a tad shorter then most being accurate to the real thing. Havent got around to shooting it yet but will write another review when I have.
Things I would have changed:The hammer spring on mine feels SUPER light and weak not sure if it's meant to be that way or I got a bad one but I might try breaking it open and seeing if a umarex hammer spring will fit
What others should know:I'd definitely recommend buying this one over the other dark finished model, this one looks more like gun bluing then parkerized finish the other one seems to have, also theres no picture showing it but the white lettering it under the barrel.

Everything! I particularly like the finish on this Barra version. Unlike the previous Bear River Schofield No. 3 which had a more flat grey finish like the KWC 1911s, this one has a "blued" finish with minimal wear in all the right spots - like the end of the muzzle. The aged effect looks great, unlike the weathered finish on the Umarex Ace in the Hole, which looks a little too artificial. Oh, and there are fewer white "warning" markings than the previous version as well - also great!

What others should know:I can't wait for the 5-inch barrel version to come out!
