Things I liked:

EVERYTHING. The rifle is very well finished, overall quality is excellent. The only problem I had was that the barrel counter weight was not tight from the factory. When I tried to tighten it, it kept coming loose. A couple drops of blue Loctite and it hasn't moved.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing. I have the .177. I plan on buying the .22

What others should know:

Buy this gun!!!!

Things I liked:

Balances very well for target shooting, being a bit nose-heavy for stable sighting. Love the sound of the bolt action; a great metallic clacking sound. Accuracy doesn't disappoint at 10m. I love the lustrous look of the gun mated to the robust metal barrel and action.

Things I would have changed:

Both original o-rings in the compression tube (on the end cap and the valve at the other end of the reservoir) crumbled after the first 6 shots. They were so old and dried out that they came apart in pieces when I opened the gun up. Replaced them both with Viton o-rings and she's been a shooter ever since.

What others should know:

Be prepared and unafraid to break out the screw drivers, hex wrenches, and other basic hand tools with this gun. The parts are pretty robust, the action is pretty straightforward, and a little TLC goes a long way with this gun.

    Things I liked:

Lovely wooden stock and very well finished. Diopter sight looks solid. Bolt action is solid

    Things I would have changed:

The absolutely useless white seal in the cap of the CO2 tube is embarrassing. It worked the first pair of CO2 cylinders. The first time I replaced the cylinders, the seal actually crumbled and fell apart. I was able to clean out the cap of all the debris that also fell into the CO2 tube itself. Replaced it with a black plumbing O ring which has worked perfectly.

    What others should know:

I've sighted it in at 10yds and it's rock solid BUT... the only way I could sight in was to adjust the rear sight almost all the way over to the right. I cannot tell at this time why it otherwise shoots so consistently to the left. I had to tighten the barrel band but that's no biggee. I also tried adjusting the front sight to try and compensate but makes little difference.
Overall, it's a great shooter at 10yds but I'm concerned why the sights need to be adjusted so severely. There's something amiss, I just haven't figured it out yet.

    Things I liked:

Pretty basic. Fits well. Like the trigger and the trigger pull.

    Things I would have changed:

Include extra o-rings. Bolt o-ring shred with only 100 shots fired. Manual missing a lot of data. Found a good one online for the 2078A. Include rail sight and diopter inserts like the 2078A.

    What others should know:

I didn't like the way the stock on the 2078A fit my body but for the same price you get more and the finish is better. Parts are available but $9.00 shipping charges on $13.00 worth of o-rings that weigh less than a dime, on a brand new gun? Not gonna happen. Pyramyd and Beeman should be ashamed of yourselves. I expected more for my money.

    Things I liked:

Bought the AR2078 for back yard target shooting. I own a couple break barrel rifles and pistols and thought I would try CO2 for a change. I also bought a Beeman QB78 CO2 Rifle for my Grand-Daughter so she can join me with our hobby. I also bought a Beeman 4 x 32 scope for both rifles to enhance its accuracy. Both rifles are set to go, but so far we haven't had time to sight them in. The AR 2078 is a great starter rifle., The wood finish and bluing is real nice and the thumb hole stock is very comfortable. For the money it's a winner ! I only gave it four stars on accuracy because I haven't shot it yet, but if it shoots as good as it looks it should be a cool shooter. This is based on my own review and opinion.

    What others should know:

The wood may not come as advertised. It's shown in the magazine as a light grain finish, mine came as a dark wood, but it's still not cheap looking and the fit and finish are real good.

    Things I liked:

Beautiful wooden stock. Shoots lights out. This is my first CO2 gun, so I did not know what to expect. Nice not having to cock each time, although that was not a big deal. Well put together gun (with one exception). Since it was a new gun, and I am new to CO2, the break-in was interesting. Straight shots, no problem. Load/unload cylinders, no problem. Weight of gun, no problem (excellent)

    Things I would have changed:

Seals in this chinese-made gun suck. The cap you screw-on, after loading CO2 cylinders, had a el-cheapo fiber washer in a cut-out for an o-ring. After 2 shooting sessions the reservoir would no longer hold any pressure. Last straw was this morning . . .loaded 2 CO2 cylinders, and immediately I could hear gas coming out. Solution for the cracked el-cheapo fiber washer? Go to Home Depot and in the plumbing department buy a pack of rubber o-rings used for faucets. Turns out that a #11 is perfect. (10 for $2.30) Now I can shoot all day and get full use of cylinder.

    What others should know:

Not easy finding an adapter (picatinny to dovetail) that works really well. I am using a Bushnell red dot on this gun (fabulous) . . but adapters are problematic.

    Things I liked:

Very consistent shooting. Site system is easy to set up. Easy quarter size target hit at 45 feet.

    Things I would have changed:

Beeman like many companies have outsourced manufacturing. This Air rifle is an example of that. It is made in China. I would be happy to pay extra for an Air rifle made in the USA. That being said I would change where it is made. Bring back manufacturing or Label in bold on the website country of origin.

    What others should know:

at least 50 shots can be made with out degradation of accuracy using two CO2 cylinders.

    Things I liked:

    Extremely accurate! Very flat shooting!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing on the rifle. It comes with 2 Allen wrenches and a T-handled tool, but there is nothing in the manual explaining its purpose.

    What others should know:

I did use a plastic bipod when sighting in. With a 10M zero, there is about a 1/2 inch drop at 25 yds. If you have trouble hitting your target, it is you, not the Beeman.

    Things I liked:

Extreme accuracy . That's how I describ this rifle. Nice wood and blueing. I've never shot through a aperture before. I put five shot in a bull eye mesuring 3/4 of an inch at 55 feet. Add the price point and I can't keep the smile off my face.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

Manufactured quality seems good , nice stock , the safety on the gun could be more user friendly, it took a while to site In with a peep sights ,field view with a Peepsight is very poor . 20 - 30 yards you can drive tacks with it.
