    Things I liked:

Very accurate right out of the box, sighted in with 5 pellets. Great for taking care of all yard pests.

    Things I would have changed:

The ten round magazines need to be of the same quality as the rest of the rifle. Then plastic and design are cheap and did not feed the pellets correctly, glad. I ordered additional mags.

    What others should know:

Overall a very accurate powerful and easy to shoot air rifle

    Things I liked:

Have this in 25 caliber, My first PCP so am still adjusting and learning and this is my first review. I got this in 25 caliber - factory set to fill pressure of 3000psi. Mounted a RWS 3-9X44 night pro scope that I had laying around on the rifle.I use a carbon filter 4500 psi tank to fill the rifle. 1- Great looking rifle, it is solid and well made. 2- Very quiet, quieter than I expected. 3- The trigger is awesome, best trigger I have used. 4- have been using JSB Exact King .25 and the 25 cal benjamin domes they shoot a little differently but have yet to figure out which to go with. I have had some problems sighting it in but I am getting pretty good groups up to 40 yards anyway. 5- the clips work great feed flawlessly. I am very pleased with this rifle. I have yet to determine just how powerful it is as far as hunting is concerned. I have seen youtube video of killing hogs / bobcat at 30-40 yards etc but I really question the ability of this rifle to do that based on what I have seen shooting it in my backyard. I am getting chronys fps in the 800's using the above pellets. Any comments on this review would be appreciated as this is my first experience with PCP rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing - This is a great rifle

    Things I liked:

What's not to like? Less weight, better fit and extreme accuracy! This is a keeper, one to hand down to my grandkids (maybe great grandkids). The new synthetic stock with the adjustable cheek-piece makes all the difference over the wood. Mine is a .25 which tears ragged, one hole groups at 25 yards. The trigger is fantastic, very easy to adjust and is of very high quality.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazines could of a little higher quality, they seem slightly flimsy. Maybe make them out of aluminum with a stronger, better spring. I tend to use a single shot tray which is much easier to use and foolproof in the field.

    What others should know:

A heavier pellet like the JSB Exact Kings are recommend but I get my best groups with the 31 grain Kodiak Match. Make sure to mount a quality mil-dot scope, sight it in for 25 yards and then use the lower dots for various longer ranges. Don't mess with a pump, buy the scuba adapter, female hose attachment and get a tested, 3000 psi, used 80 cf tank from a dive shop. You will be topping up the gun's reservoir about every 16 shots or so for best performance. Also, and I can't recommend this enough, spend the 10 bucks and get the ten for ten service from PA. They will insure you get a good, leak-free rifle plus they will send you a chronograph read-out certificate so you will know how your new rifle performs!

Power, reliable and shoots very hard and straight.

    Things I would have changed:

A better air gauge that would show true air pressure.

    What others should know:

Still a little heavy but a great pcp gun.

    Things I liked:

(.22 cal)The low noise,accuracy,10round mag and the bolt action(my first bolt action, makes me fell like a real sniper). I was a little worried about the accuracy with.22 but the guys and girls at pyramyd assure me that it was the best choice because I was planning to get the 177 at first for both target and small game. When I first got the gun I was not sure if I was going to keep it because it was more of an impulse purchase. It really got me once I was at the Aquatic Center looking to buy a tank and supplies and ran into guy who was in with the same gun(who just loves just his in .25) was asking me if I had done my home work and if I knew about the major issue with the.22 accuracy. Even though I hadnt even filled or fire the rifle yet, I told him they worked out the kinks(based on what I was assured of by the folks at pyramyd). When I saw how much the tank and supplies where gonna cost me on top of the riffle cost, I was saying "Oh-boy what have I done". On that note if your on the fence like me and might be thinking about returning the m-Rod then be sure not to shoot it.Once I shot it I was like "I love this thing".Ive shot bb/pellet,shotguns/rifles and hand guns for over 30 years but this is my 1st pcp.I was questioning the power it had and thought I needed to adjust the velosity because of the low noise and smoothness until I found that it was shooting thru to the back cover of my 1187 page hard cover out dated cabela's master catalog. LOVE IT.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing so far,to me the trigger great, the power is great.havent change anything but the comb height.

    What others should know:

With this .22 riffle what ever accuracy issues they had before have been ironed out as like at least 3 staff members at pyramydAir had assure me.I have only tested the M-rod at about 10yards free standing or resting on the back of a not so steady office chair with a simmons scope that was on sale for $50,Im getting groups about penny size(lots in the same hole) and a couple *center bullseye hits(*smaller than the diameter of the pellet itself).Ive only put about 80 round thru it and Im still adjusting the scope so im sure it'll get better and better. Also Ive been shooting the Ben.Discovery 14.3gr and the Gamo Rocket, both group the well and the same out of my M-rod, even though I saw a poor testing and review of the rocket on Youtube in a different style rifle.I used some in .177 with my daisy880 and I liked the performance, the xtra penetration is apparent for sure in the M-rod .22 . Im sure by or on Christmas I'll get the better leaper scope and possibly a second scuba tank so I can get out, pratice at 50+ yards and hunt. PS I was saying how ugly the gun was when I first opened it but now that I put the scope on and raised the comb, she so purdy I cant stop looking at her.

    Things I liked:

Big improvement over original Marauder. I had an original with wood stock in .25 and replaced it with a synthetic in .25. The synthetic is lighter and better balanced. There are now more baffles in the shroud which seem to make it quieter. I like the adjustable cheek rest and the redesign of the trigger. Accuracy is still excellent. This is a lot of gun for the money. Shot curve is very flat for 2 magazines. Out of the box, mine averaged 863 fps with JSB kings and an extreme spread of 16 fps.

    Things I would have changed:

Improve the efficiency to increase the shot count.

    Things I liked:

This is a refinement of a classic, not a complete makeover. Gun is lighter, and the ergonomics is much improved. An adjustable cheek riser had plenty of adjustment for my 56mm obj on high rings. The old Mrod felt like holding a 2x4. There is a new baffle system and at same power levels sounds a little quieter. Power and accuracy seem to be equal to the old Mrod. Out of the box, the tune was a declining curve. After adjustment, have a 860-870-860fps 16 shot string, with JSB Kings.

    Things I would have changed:

Syn stocks are nice and durable, but many will like wood. I like wood, but the original Mrod was just too heavy. If you like modifying the stock to fit your tastes, the new syn will present some challenges. The new depinger is not as effective as some of the aftermarket solutions.

    What others should know:

Packaging and Contents: Gun was essentially triple boxed. The crosman gun box followed by the crosman brown cardboard box, followed by an outer box with packing paper. The internal gun box had the familiar foam blocks holding the gun in position, along with the bolt and muzzle end protectors. The crosman box had the original packing staples, so this had not been opened. Package includes 1 mag, degasser tool, and documentation. BTW: the documentation does show a sister Mrod decked out with a wood stock. Cosmetic Inspection: One small mark on the right hand of the receiver/breech. A small scratch that was all the way through paint to the aluminum. It is about 1/2" forward of the rear right side mounting bolt. Also noticed that this has a different gauge, which does not have the Benjamin name on it. I have received this same gauge from crosman parts. My experience with that one, was it reads significantly higher psi that any of my other gauges compared to pumps. This issue was also noted by M on his new 25 syn mrod. Gun was not pressurized. No other blemishes or cosmetic defects were noted. Serial Number: O13121242 Initial Weight and handling: Weight of gun without any scope or rings was 7.6lbs, 121oz. Comparing that to my 1st Gen wood 25 cal, of 8.88lbs, 142 oz, yields more than a lb lighter (21oz). Balance point (without scope) is just forward of pressure gauge. To me that is a very good improvement.

    Things I liked:

WOW need I say more about the 25 cal synthetic stock marauder! This year 2013 I have Purchased three break barrels pellet guns. And all three had barrel droop! Took them back, and got the most accurate pellet gun that I ever shot ! This gun is so powerful and so quiet when you shoot the first shot you may think its a weak gun from the lack of noise that comes from it. But you better have a good back stop for this gun. And it's still set at factory setting, I do plan on upping the power later on just to see what it's got.

    Things I would have changed:

Two things, I would like little bigger air tank for a few more shots. And start making the SINGLE SHOT TRAY again! I like knowing if the 8 shot clip breaks , I can use that to make it Easy to to load a pellet in it !

    What others should know:

Don't let the two things that I would change stop you from getting this gun! You will be sorry if you do. It is without a doubt a wonderful pellet gun for hunting small to medium size game. I am proud to be a marauder brother now !

    Things I liked:

This gun feels lighter (than my springers) yet sturdy and solid. The adjustable comb is nice to reach the high rings necessitated by the magazine. Very quiet discharge, but as this is my first pcp, I cannot compare to other louder guns like a sam yang or something. There is a bit of a valve ping that is very detectable, but I am guessing that is only because the rest of it is so quiet. I think the sling mounts will come in handy once I get this out to the woods.

    Things I would have changed:

    Maybe include a sling.

    What others should know:

I've not shot this gun at a target yet, only test fired into phonebooks in the basement. Please don't read anything into my accuracy rating.

    Things I liked:

Followup to previous review. This is one FANTASTIC PCP. This past weekend 11/16/13, with the wind at my back, fully charged to 2600 psi, I hit a 3'x6' metal target at a local military range at a distance of 327 yards. Yes, I said 327 yards. A spotter at the target heard the pellet hit with a faint ding. While you would not kill anything at that range I think that it really says something about this rifle. I don't think that a kill at 100 yards is out of the question, maybe out to 150 yards. I did not think that this rifle would do what it did, but was totally surprised when it did..As I said, A FANTASTIC WONDERFUL WELL MADE RIFLE. BUT IT, BUY IT. You won't regret it.

    Things I would have changed:

    NADA.

    What others should know:

PYRAMYD WAS GREAT AS USUAL AND DAN GORE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY AND REALLY CARED ABOUT ME THE CUSTOMER. WILL NEVER BUY FROM ANYWHERE ELSE.

    Things I liked:

The new look is great and it shoots awesome!! I got four different top selling pellets. But I sighted it in (4 shots)with the Benjamin Dome. I don't think you can get any better then them. I can knock the balls off a sycamore tree at over 45 yards !

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at all !!

    What others should know:

If your going to pump it up, get ready for a work out lol. It's really not that bad, just take your time. I don't think out of all of my guns, none shoot as good As the marauder 25 cal No problem putting down black birds and pigeons at factory settings!

    Things I liked:

quiet, very quiet, I have a high end SPL meter I want to measure .22 LR's and CB caps vs this, but way quieter than a cb cap.... I got the .22 and I originally used some 1/2" industrial rubber mat, stupidly thinking that would stop the pellets... it didn't.. I added 1/2" OSB (wafer board for building sheathing) and it went through both. I ended up with great groups with the 18.13 gr jsb's at 50' and 75 no drop, and all key holed, maybe .3" I had target pix, but do not know how to post them. the trigger is great, the stock is great

    Things I would have changed:

the quick connect cable tends to rub the barrel, but I am sure I will get better at it.... the manual says fill slow.... but does not quantify "slow" with a scuba HP tank... and a DIN valve it is very hard to take more than 5 seconds from 2500-3000... which is where I shot my strings, I will play with sub 2500 another time.

    What others should know:

I used a 3x9 utg scope with the rings it came with and the low profile 11mm-weaver converter it worked great more than enough clearance.

    Things I liked:

This gun seems even quieter than the original version! That makes shooting in my backyard possible, and I can shoot whenever and how much I want without bothering any of the neighbors. The adjustable comb is a great improvement. I have a large 30mm scope and raising the comb to fit me and my shooting style has made me more accurate. The magazine makes shooting easier and faster.

    Things I would have changed:

    None so far.

    What others should know:

I have only had my .25 caliber Marauder for about a week now so I can only tell you what I have found so far. I have shot about 200 rounds with it and love it. I have not made any changes from factory settings. The only thing I did was to clean the barrel. I can get 1/2" groups at 25 yards and 3/4" groups at 50 yards in a slight wind. Unfortunately there has been wind every day since I got the gun. I have not tried other pellets yet other than the JSB Exact King .25. I don't have a crony ordered yet so I don't know what velocity the pellet is shooting. One thing I have learned with the penetrating power of this .25 caliber is to not take too many shots at the center of your target unless you have a very thick back stop! I had multiple targets stapled to 1/2" plywood with a 3/4" piece behind that. After shooting I found out that many went all the way through the boards and made holes in our new fence! I am looking forward to using this gun for hunting.

This is a follow up to my first review. This is one fantastic rifle. WOW is all that comes to mind. Finished zeroing in today. Took 5 shots. Put 30 rds into a target at about 50 yds and after playing around with 3 rds I put the other 27 into the Bull. Fantastic Accuarcy..This is one gun you can't go wrong with. BUY IT YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

    Things I liked:

Upon opening the box, WOW,nice looking rifle. I think it is real light and easy to handle. Finish on entire rifle looks great. No blemishes anywhere and workmenship looks top notch. The only thing that it lacked was the allen wrench to adjust the comb. Feels good and shoulders nice. Trigger placement is right on for comfortable shooting. Hits where you point it. I mounted a Leapers 4-16X56MM AO scope with sidewheel and it looks great. Not done sighting in yet but a nice scope, bright and will be nice for hunting and Field Target. I cleaned the barrel which ony took 10 patches, surprisingly clean from factory, nice..

    Things I would have changed:

Include the allen wrench to adjust the comb.

    What others should know:

I got the .22 cal and this is a nice combo for hunting and plinking targets. As usual Pyramyd Air was GREAT. Dan did a great job handling my order and was very knowledgeable and great to deal with. Packing of everything was done with great care. I only gave a 4 star for accuracy because I am not done zeroing it in yet but I am sure that it will shoot 1/4 to 1/2" groups at up to 50 yrds + when I get done. Am excited about this rifle, I think Crosman hit a home run with this one. I may even try it Turkey hunting. I know Crows and Squirrels around here are in for a rough time. I was not sure that I would enjoy this rifle, was wavering between the Air Arms S400MPR FT and this. After researching both everywhere I could and talking with Dan at Pyramyd for a long time I decided to go with the Marauder in .22 ca... More versatile a caliber for what I wanted it for. I can't say enough about how patient Dan was, there was never any pressure from him to buy one or the other, just his own personnel experience with his own Marauder. Just getting into PCP's was a large investment so I wanted to get the best rifle for what I wanted to do and Pyramyd Air came thru. I am a customer for life thanks to Dan Gore.
