    Things I liked:

This is my firsts PCP air gun and it's head and shoulders above all the springers I've owned. No vibration at the shot and not hold sensitive like a springer. Of the pellets I've tried only the H&N crow magnum didn't shoot that well. It's nice to leave the ear plugs in the car when at the range. Definitely backyard friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a little more viscosity but this gun is so accurate that I don't want to mess with it.

    What others should know:

This rifle can shoot completely through a spray paint can at 35 yards.

The Benjamin Marauder is what I was told to expect. It is easy to shoot , very accurate, quite and has been fun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

I haven't shoot it enough to recommend any changes yet.

    What others should know:

    Great value for your money.

    Things I liked:

The Marauder is my first PCP rifle. My prior airguns are break barrel, I am very disappointed in the accuracy of the break barrel guns. The Marauder meets my accuracy expectations, I'm still sighting it in (only 20 rounds so far) shots are very repeatable. Weather kept me from shooting until yesterday, I've had it about two weeks., I cleaned the gun and mounted the scope then hand pumped the charge, hand pumping was easier than I expected. Charged rifle sat for a week until yesterday, no loss of charge, WOW. I am very pleased with the Marauder and the Hill hand pump.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, I read many reviews and the manual before buying, the Marauder is what I expected.

    What others should know:

Magazine is easy to load. Gun operates as specified. It is necessary to pull the bolt all the way back to cock, I think I short cycled it once during my initial dry fire testing.

    Everything

    Things I would have changed:

Put the air pressure gauge on the side instead of the bottom so you can watch the pressure level as you're pumping.

    What others should know:

Yes. I've been a competitive shooter since I was 12 and am now 62. I've never had a powder burner that was any more accurate than this is. At 10 yards it will put 10 shots through the same hole. I have yet to have any ammo i've tried (13 different kinds) shoot a larger group then I can easily cover with a dime. Now that the weather is breaking i'll be taking it outside for more long range testing. Excellent buy.

    Things I liked:

I love just almost everything about my Benjamin Marauder!

    Things I would have changed:

I think the gun is just a little to big and makes it a little awkward to maneuver around. The bolt on this one is rough when loading a pellet. My older model was very smooth.

    What others should know:

In many cases, these guns shoot better than the shooter is capable of shooting. Never stop honing your shooting and safety skills!. You will unlock your guns true potential!

    Things I liked:

Everything!!! Not too heavy, thanks to the synthetic stock. Lights out accuracy ( I bought the Lothar Walther barreled .177) stacks pellets. Easy to hand pump. I have two crippling diseases, attacking all my joints, and spine. I hand pump! Oh yea, NOT PELLET PICKY!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I do not understand why anyone would pay $1130 and up for say a FX? Then another $50.00 for each magazine and another $300 for a scope. I forgot, $34.99 Barrel band. Total with 4 magazines. comes out to be $1665.00 + tax. 3 year warranty. When you can buy the Synrod with Lothar Walther Match Barrel W/Picatinny Rail, $579.99. 4 Magazines @ $15.95, $300.00 scope. Total 943.79. 5 year warranty. I f you want more shots per fill, $350.00 tune includes regulator. Now you get 80 shots, 20 fpe 10.5 gr on low setting, you can turn it up from there with heavier pellets. Do the math 943.79 + tune =1293.79 you save 371.21. Without tune you save $721.21. My point is you can buy the whole package for $186.21 less that the FX dream line gun itself. The Marauder is more reliable! If you wish, you can buy the .22 barrel, probe, bolt, and have dual caliber also. I saved quite a bit more, during their Christmas sale. Best of all, It is MADE IN THE USA....

Excellent air rifle very accurate. My first one broke a air gauge the first week pyramyd air sent me a shipping slip send it out 4 days later I had a new one! Thank you!

    What others should know:

The magazine is a little flimsy. Absolute tack driver out of the box 35 yards all touching 75 yards 1/2 in groups thats not off a bench just leaning on a tree.

    Things I liked:

Both stages of the trigger are adjustable, however, I have been shooting it at the factory trigger settings and am very happy with it. Using a handpump is a bit of a workout but it can definitely be done which gives you independence from expensive compressors and tanks. And I'm 65 yrs old.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing that I can think of based on the short time I've been shooting it.

    What others should know:

Make sure you try different pellets at different pressures to find the best combination. I've only been shooting JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.13 gr so far to get used to the gun. Seems to shoot these best when pressure is at about 2750 psi. I've got some other types I will be trying.

    Things I liked:

Power and accuracy. I chrono'd various pellets at various pressures and 2500psi seemed to be a sweet spot that maintained pellet uniform velocity (anywhere from 10-30fps for 10 shots). Accuracy was a given with the walter lothar (sp?) match barrel. The proof target 5 shots at 10meters was smaller than my little fingernail, maybe .44" diameter but essentially one large hole.

    Things I would have changed:

PyramydAir needs to check these mid-expensive rifles out before shipping. Preferably ten shots. Degas the gun afterwards for shipping of course. Quality quality quality. The magazine wouldn't fit because the barrel was set too far back in the receiver. Also the adjustable comb did not come with setscrews, they're a weird size Home Depot didn't carry so I had to go online. Crosman customer service is useless. There was no instruction manual that covered disassembly or how to reset the barrel. Thank God for online video. Otherwise the weapon was fine.

    What others should know:

    The airgun is fairly immune to pellet weight, I used anywhere from 14.3gr Crosman Premier to 33gr jumbo Korean hunting pellets, all quite accurate and fpe about the same, 24'#. 2350 psi 860/14.3gr/23 587/34gr/26 598/32.4gr/26 2600 864/14.3/24 842.6//23 848.6/“/23 850.1/“/23 864.4/“/24 2500 855.7/14.3/23 884.0/“/25 884.0/“/“ 878.5/“/24 878.5/“/“

Very acurate with jsb 10 + grain pellets at 2,000-1,500 psi. very quiet compared to my Gamo springer, trigger is also very nice although i've not tweeked it yet very crisp break

    Things I would have changed:

Refill attachment. I like a threaded connection better

    Things I liked:

This is my first PCP. I upgraded to this from two failed entry level break barrel rifles in the $200 range. I opted for the Lothar Walther barrel in .177 caliber, since I had literally 30 different types of pellet testing the less expensive rifles. All I can say is *wow*. All that technique applied to break barrel springers did me well with something that actually placed pellets where I aimed :). This rifle loves the H&N Baracuda Match pellets. Sacking pellets at 25 yards, with 50 yard plinking being easy. The description states 32 shots, I am getting 60 good shots with no hold over and 80 shots if I dont mind a small hold over. Its on my docket to try some heavier lead, namely the JSB Monster and Beast pellets. Bottom line: I wish I would have listened to my buddy who said just start here. The investment is worth the result, especially thinking about how much time I spent on the cheap stuff. Buy once, but right. Also, this thing is more quiet than the Whisper rifles out there.

    Things I would have changed:

Two magazines, lube for the O-rings, include the degassing tool, and provide a little documentation for the newbie - not just on the rifle (the manual is quite good) but for those who are new to PCP. I spent an inordinate amount of time on reading the basics, surely this would not be hard for Crosman Corp :) to include in some form :). Also maybe a parts break down and better info on tuning the rifle for different pellets. But all this is to say I really had to think about what I would change, other than the extra magazine. This is a quality piece of equipment.

    What others should know:

Even with the Lothar Walther barrel, my accuracy took a dive after about 250 shots. It required a pretty thorough cleaning, used one Ballistol soaked patch and another 20 dry patches to get mostly clean. Some people think the trigger weights are too heavy. Mine is perfect. There is the slightest bit of roll on mine with no tweaking, I am sure that Ill be able to tune that out in short order. My research along with a friends opinion showed that this Marauder was still the best first PCP, if for no other reason than you will be sure that quality is not an issue. The pellets go where I ask. When they do not it is my fault or it is dirty (also my fault). Consider this as a first step if you are looking to get in to it. Shot count is great, quality is great, and best of all you can hit what you want inside 50 yards without trying too hard - and I am only using a 2-7x32 AO BSA duplex scope. Buy a patch worm when you buy this along with cleaning patches and save some time. Most of all-enjoy!

    Things I liked:

Accuracy most important to me. This .22 cal gun is by far the most accurate pellet gun I have ever seen. Ive been airgunning since 1980. Legit 1/4 inch groups ctc at 30 yds. This gun is a hunter killer.

    Things I would have changed:

The safety. It feels and looks like a second trigger. ?? It does function but Im not a fan of it.

    What others should know:

Invest in good glass for this gun. Its worth it to get the most out of it. Ive had my 22 caliber marauder for around a month now and Ive probably shot 500 rounds from 11 different pellets to find the most accurate pellet style and weight for my individual rifle. For me its jsb Diablo 18 gr Jumbo domed.

    Things I liked:

Everything about it, it is a shooting machine!

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I wouldchange about this rifle is to do away with what Marauder Shooters call "The Lawyer Spring" in the gun and simply replace it with a washer!!!!!!!! But you know how the old liability clause is??????????

    What others should know:

I have the ,177 Calibur with the Walther Match Barrel and I know it's a little pricer that the Crosman barrel model but in my opinion it's well worth the extra money. After my third Springer I finally took the leap and crossed over to the dark side and bought the Synthetic Stock Marauder and trust me, I wish I had taken that route long before! My hats off to them! When you read all the hype about how accurate and quiet the M-Rod is these people are not drinking the cool-aid their just telling the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Things I liked:

Mounted a scope and was shooting touching shots at 30 yards very quickly. Quiet and easy to shoot. Used the hand pump and it worked fine.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun leaked down over 1000 pounds of pressure overnight. After waiting weeks for my first PCP to arrive, I have to send it back immediately because of poor quality control. Now it has been over a month, and I still have no idea when the replacement will arrive.

    What others should know:

My first PCP, and I was super impressed until the pressure leaked down. Extremely accurate, easy to set up, easy to shoot.

    Things I liked:

I live on acreage overrun with ground squirrels and I absolutely LOVE this .22 cal air rifle!!! I also have a Gamo Magnum, which is also a .22 cal. The Gamo is a hard hitter, but also tough to cock, but not for a manly man!!! Just joking. The Gamo Magnum with a suppressor is much quieter than without, but if you don't make a clean kill, it takes forever to reload. The Benjamin Marauder PCP .22 cal is quieter than the Marauder even with the suppressor. I have mine sighted in at 25 yards and it will have a nickle size pattern. I also like the 2900-2500 PSI range for accuracy. I ordered the hand pump which can be a workout, but usually 100 pumps will bring it up to 2900 PSI from 2500 PSI. I also love the fact that it has the 10 round magazine so in case you don't make a clean kill, it's only a second to load another round and finish the job.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if it was a bit lighter, but other than that, nothing................

    What others should know:

Even thought I got 2 break barrels (.177 and .22), I'd again spend the money and buy a PCP air rifle, no recoil and super quiet.

This is my first PCP air rifle. I really like the accuracy and quiet operation. I found the trigger adjustment easy to get it to what I like for target shooting. I have shot close to 1000 rounds with no issues.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt action is a bit rough and notchy, It is getting better as I use the rifle and I learn the feel of the mechanism.

    What others should know:

I originally had 2 magazines with the rifle. I would recommend that a new owner get at least 3 or 4 with the gun. filling the magazine is not something that you want to do in the field. It is easy enough but is something I like to do sitting at a table.
