    Things I liked:

Underlever cocking action, looks great, shoulders well, if a little heavy. The rifle comes with a decent scope (especially for a bundled unit!), has a weaver mount over an 11mm dovetail (which I removed, more below). Did I mention it's a great looking gun?

    Things I would have changed:

The machine work on the parts inside the gun is pretty sloppy. This is why it has a reputation for being "crunchy." I'm guessing it would've gotten better on it's own, but I took it apart and cleaned it up/lube tuned it anyway. Back to change: I would suggest the manufacturer take a little more time and care, at least at the assembly stage, to make the gun a little smoother out of the box. What lube there was inside was terrible and contaminated with rust and dirt, and allowed the gun to be noisy and feel gritty every time I cocked it. My rifle also needed new seals, as the piston seal was visibly damaged. That said, it was then, and is now a great shooter!

    What others should know:

If you're mechanically inclined, take it apart (carefully) and clean it, then lube it properly. My rifle went from feeling junky and sounding like it was going to fly apart (tho it did shoot quite well!) to being silky-smooth, quiet, and still shooting great (note: I used a Gamo piston seal, part #GAMOP-PSTSL, and while not a perfect fit, so far it's money!) Something else: the gun does suffer from some barrel droop. Not as much as some break barrels (my Crosman Vantage was pretty bad!), but enough that you will have to address it (as mentioned in other reviews, the pad in the rear ring doesn't cut it...at all!) I am going to install an RWS Lockdown, one piece scope mount, with droop compensation. All you have to do is remove the bolts, and pry the weaver rail off to reveal the 11mm dovetail underneath. This rifle doesn't suffer from super heavy recoil, so you don't really need the weaver rail. In closing, CLEAN AND LUBE IT. I'm not angry about the work I had to do, because it's a sub 200 dollar gun that shoots well out of the box, and I'm a bit OCD. With a little work, this rifle has become my go-to hunter, that I will lay some squirrel smack-down this year.

    Things I liked:

Accurate, has iron sights, comes with more "scope" than it needs, looks good, pretty good trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see an exploded parts view, or any inkling that there is parts support for this rifle. I would also like to see it in a Nitro Piston version. The stock has a nice shape and look to it, but the wood is a bit soft for my liking. The iron sights are off, requiring max right wind age adjustment to hit the target at 15 yards, but scoping it seems ok. Weight: heavy! Build quality could be improved as well.

    What others should know:

This is a really good-shooting gun for under 200 beans! It has a lot going for it, but it does have "low-end" build quality. While some like the weaver style rail, I removed it. The rifle has some barrel droop, and their compensation is a foam pad on the rear ring...waste of time. I removed the weaver thing and plan to order an RWS Lock Down one piece mount with droop compensation. I currently have a junk bundled 4x32 scope mounted to it, and that works fine (the 3-9 AO scope lives on my M-Rod). It's "crunchy"...really crunchy, and takes a long time to smooth out on it's own. It also takes a lot of shooting to stop smoking. Also, watch the cocking lever hinge pins, mine needed to be re-peened to stop falling out. I'm still trying to figure out how to disassemble it to clean and properly lube everything, it's going to be a challenge! Overall, this is a great gun for the money. Once it settles in, it shoots accurately and consistently. I don't love this rifle (yet), but I think it's a great value!

    Things I liked:

    1. It appears to be very sturdy. 2. The price is right. 3. Trigger pull is not too stiff and may reduce with use. You can sneak up on the release point. 4. It requires a good pull to cock it-but this seems to be true of all springers. 5. I am quite pleased with the rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Be very careful when cocking this or any springer. Place the butt where it will not slip. I had an accident today when the butt slipped and I released the cocking lever before it had latched. It sprang back and struck my thumb on the hand holding the barrel. I was fortunate that no bones were broken but I have a rather painful blood-blister on the thumb.

    Things I liked:

My first "adult" airgun and my first .22, so don't have anything to compare it to. That said, I like it. Easy to cock, the bigger pellets (.22) are easier for my big fat fingers to handle, powerful, so far so good with the included scope.

    Things I would have changed:

From what I read airguns can be quite particular about what pellet they shoot well. The only one I've had a chance to try so far is the Crosman Premier 14.3 and I'm getting 1.25-1.5" groups at 20 yds.

    What others should know:

I hear the JSB Exact 14.3 works good in this brand of airgun.

    Things I liked:

This was my first pellet rifle. I thought with the Browning name that it would be a decent rifle. The one I received had some major mechanical issues like the cocking lever arm was bent in the direction opposite of the applied force. Also, the lever arm pin kept falling out and damaging the stock and making the rifle a hazard. Browning should not put their name on a cheap rifle like this. This thing dieseled like crazy, so no good groups before I sent it back.

    Things I would have changed:

Improve quality. Improve bluing. Take the Browning name off this rifle.

    What others should know:

If you want to take a chance on a rifle, then this one may suit your needs. I took a chance and wasted some time, but Pyramyd made it right by taking it back. If you don't want to waste your valuable time, then buy something that is better quality.

    Things I liked:

Accurate, powerful, sturdy, well-made, nice wood stock, decent scope, ambidextrous, simple operation, excellent pricepoint for the level of quality.

    Things I would have changed:

It is somewhat difficult to load pellets due to the scope blocking a portion of the loading area. (I have large hands and fingers, so it may be easier for someone with smaller hands, but even my girlfriend has issues loading it and her hands and fingers are tiny.) Mount points for a sling would be a great addition.

    What others should know:

Aside from the loading difficulty, I would mention that this rifle is surprisingly heavy. I'm a fit 150lb man and it fatigues me to fire this thing for more than about 20-30 shots. The cocking effort is not that intense, but it will definitely wear you out after several dozen cockings. Otherwise this is a great gun for the price. I've assassinated over a dozen pests and I am consistently getting tight target groups with this piece.

    Things I liked:

First of all I have the Browning in .22. Like all new airguns the first thing I Did was clean the barrel. It took able 50 shots for the spring to settle in. The rifle is well made. The price is excellent for a underlever. The scope in this combo alone is worth about $80.00. It's fairly easy to cock and quite to shot, a great backyard shooter. The power and noise level is probably about the same as a Crossman nitro .22. Best of all at 30 yards I'm getting quarter size groupings shot after shot with cheap Crossman pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Some checkering on the stock would be nice.

    What others should know:

Read the instructions on mounting the scope and ring, and loading safely. This gun is well made and nothing is cheap about it. Thanks again to P.A. for the great job they do and selling airguners the really good airguns and pellets you can't find locally to make shooting so much fun.

    Things I liked:

solid feeling and nice trigger. positive reviews from others.

    Things I would have changed:

    quality control

    What others should know:

    1. a lot of stains on receiver and inside breech loading port. Seems to me they are rust covered by finishing, and can't be removed by cleaning. 2. two machine marks (big dents) on the barrel. 3. underlevel is skewed and not aligned with barrel. 4. trigger is only one stage and not adjustable. 5. plastic at the end of receiver (where the anti-bear trap release button located) has rough edge and not seated well on the wooden stock. 6. front is too heavy, not balanced. Overall quality is disappointing, returned the rifle within a couple of days and waiting for the refund.

    Things I liked:

This rifle comes with a very nice scope and mounting system for a sub-$200 gun. The trigger pull is light and predictable. The cocking effort is easy for me.

    Things I would have changed:

The muzzle brake is plastic as are the open sights. I mounted the scope as far back as I was comfortable with and it is still a bit tight when loading a pellet. It is a heavy gun but I'm getting used to it.

    What others should know:

I too, had to shim the rear scope ring to bring the rifle on target. The wood is decent but looks much nicer after I polished it with Meguiars car cleaner wax. Very shiny now and it looks great. It seems to like RWS superdome pellets the best.

    Things I would have changed:

the butt of the gun should be more softer plastic it kinda hurts a little

    What others should know:

point the gun down when u cock/load the gun the pellet could fall out and get smashed on the inside and cause a jam also i found out that H&N silver point pellets shoot the best with a group of just under 1"

    Things I liked:

Finish on the wood very nice byt the fit at the rear of the action where the release for lever is nat as good as could be leaving a sharp edge. Trigger very nice 3.1 lbs. letoff Slight bit if creep. Plenty of power noise not bad high medium.

    Things I would have changed:

Put on a Shorter scope physically too big gets in the way of breach when set right for eye relief. Fix sharp edge. My trigger happens to be good but the trigger is NOT adjustable.

    What others should know:

Overall an excellent gun. I changed my scope and mount put on a 10 utg droop compensator with an Optima scope from my Hatsan .25. Used original rings and the gun shoots right on the money. If you like underlevers this is a good one.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Quality is very good. The wood stock is very acceptable on the finish work considering the rifles cost. Accuracy is on par with many more expensive rifles. I was pleasantly surprised with the shot groups I was getting.

    Things I would have changed:

A droop compensating scope mount should have been supplied. The mfg. gives you a shimmed rear scope ring to try and compensate for this issue but it just doesn't do the trick. I had to make a thicker and more substantial shim for the scope in order to be able to adjust the scope enough to bring my shots on target. It now works just fine.

    What others should know:

My rifle is in .22 cal. I'm very pleased with this purchase. The trigger is a little sticky but I expect it to smooth out with a proper break in period. You will be happy with this rifle. Ya can't really go wrong for the price.

    Things I liked:

For the money you can't really do better. Well made and quite accurate. Wood stock and metal finish are pretty decent.

    Things I would have changed:

The rifle does have barrel droop. The shim provided for the rear scope mount really does not do the trick. I had to make a better and thicker shim myself to offset this problem.

    What others should know:

If using the scope just be prepared to construct a shim for the rear mount as the one supplied with the scope just doesn't cut it. The trigger is a little sticky on mine but have only fired about 200 shots through it and I expect it to smooth out after a good break in. Long story short; for the price you really can't go wrong. You will be happy with this rifle.

    Things I liked:

The gun is a absolute beast. The scope... not so much. I'm picking off black birds with and easy at 25 yds. Very powerful and great knockdown power. Good job Browning!!!

    Things I would have changed:

The scope was good until about 1,100 rounds. The scope goes down and to the left, and yes it's very tight mounted. I even bought new mounts because the ones they sent with it sucked. Stripped the threads without much strength at all. My dad got one to and it had the adjustment knobs to the side of the crosshairs bad. Step up on the scope Browning, but way to go on the gun.

    What others should know:

You need to order good rings and a new scope. Don't chince out on the rings cuz it bites you back very quick. The reason I put a 3 on accuracy is cuz of the scope the gun is a tack driver.

Once I got this gun broke in it shoots very well. This is my first pellet rifle and I think it was an excellent choice for me. The scope on this rifle is very good. The rifle is very quiet, which is good for backyard shooting. The gun seems to have plenty of power. This gun will fill a squirrel easily at 40 yards.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, good looks, good trigger. This is a great shooting rifle. Scope has nice optics and focuses well. This gun seems to be not known but it is a really great shooter.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights on mine a strange. I had to move the windage almost all the way to the right to get it on target. The scope is really nice, but would be nicer with mil dot. The mount needs to be droop compensating. The way they tried to do it doesn't work at all. You can make your own shim which I did, but I am going to replace the weaver adaptor with a droop compensating adaptor from UTG. The gun came with horrid gunk in the barrel that even after cleaning is smoking after each shot.

    What others should know:

This is one sweet springer. Very accurate. I am shooting dime size groups at 20 yards and haven't had a chance to do more yet. I have spent weeks trying to get a gamo big can to shoot groups any smaller than 6". I was told I must not doing the artillery hold properly. Well this gun is a springer and yes it has recoil, but it is nowhere near as hold sensitive as other springers. This is a wonderful gun. I couldn't be happier for the price I paid.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Nice appearing gun. While the scope isn't a high buck item the 3-9x and AO have it working well, you can see what you're shooting at, adjust for parallax, and the rings lock into the mounting rail slots. If you have large fingers the breach can be a little fiddley to get pellets inserted. I don't have big fingers and it took awhile to get it down, and still fumbled pellets. The gun spring action seems a bit loud. The accuracy seems good - I'm the limiting factor Had to shim the rear scope ring to get the point of aim anywhere near point of impact. Wood is nice.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger on my gun was pretty stiff even after 400 pellets. The gun failed, with the lever not moving past the unlock position, which cancels cocking. Lighter weight gun would be helpful - and while I know syntethic stocks don't always mean less weight, some do.

    What others should know:

It's a big, heavy gun. Unless you are too, consider always using support. Hard to hold steady without support. Pyramid Air was absolutely stellar in offering tips on scope sighting - the woman in service knows more about guns and scopes than you can shake a stick at. There was absolutely no issue with sending it back and swapping for another gun - I picked a Sheridan .20 because I always wanted one as a kid, and have a Hatsan NPSS on the way.

    Things I liked:

After 100 shots this Browning was shooting Dimes @ 20 Yrds. Not much good any farther than that. Not too heavy, but enough to let you know your shooting a real 22. Easy lever cocking, and the scope is fine, alot better than some of the Crap they put on the simular Break barrels. No scope jumping with the Weaver rail... nice to have that. I JB welded mine on tigght just in case. Over all the best gun you can get for under $300 I think. You Tube reviiew on this gun recomends JB Match, but the Crossmans work fine to break it in. But Ii switched up to the JBs like recommend. Wood stock easy to drill sling screws in.

    Things I would have changed:

Not as fast as Id like, but it dose put a hole right through 1 inch Plywood. Triggers tight and very short, but after it broke in,was nice and easy to feel the release snap and was really nice in the field for quick shots.

    What others should know:

Better than any of the Break barrels Ive had , like Gamo,Ruger,Crossman. Nice gun in Genaral, if you cant afford a Hatsun! And this was my Fith order from Pyramyd Air and the Service was exellent compared to other online Sellers... Plus Free Shipping!?!... yeah! And YOU TUBE video descriptions are great as well.
